He noticed it, and it was late; he missed the dummy and took a tumble. Every fiber of his being wanted to blast the thing with a kido spell. But that wasn't why they were here. He lay on the ground having the dummy on top of him. He didn't struggle or fight its weight. He merely sat still and gave a sigh. He waited and listened to the instruction as he began cracking his neck. As Komamura-san removed the dummy, he sat up slowly. Koyo stood up; his emotions were hot at this moment. Embarrassment and anger are such a poor showing to this person. But he felt them as small drips of it began to form. Reiryoku began to form around Koyo's body. Causing the air to become hotter and clammy, almost like one had entered a spa.
Standing to his feet, he sheathed his sword, licking his lips and swallowing. Slowly the glow faded from Koyo's frame as he calmed himself down. Koyo could infuse his reiryoku, and he had a lot for his age. But that didn't make his skills any less clumsy. Hakuda, he could measure distance better. But that was from scrapping for so long as a child. He never once got to wield a blade until the academy.
"That was mortifying; I apologize for the outburst. My control isn't all that good with a blade or my energy." He gave a bow to Komamura-san before moving to stand somewhere away from the dummies. Koyo brought his Zanpakuto back to its sheath. Drawing it, performing horizontal cuts only. He could put energy behind it, but controlling the amount was an issue.
Koyo lacked control of his reiryoku output and hadn't gained a mastery of it. Koyo's hair began to move as his eyes began to glow. Drawing upon his stores and releasing his power. Infusing his arms to strengthen his strikes, not forgetting the effect caused to the air. His reiatsu could cause similar effects one would meet inside of a hot spring. Koyo would sheath and draw his blade over and over again. While supplying reiryoku to his body as a whole.
Though inadvertently, it would cause his reiatsu to activate. Generating the heat and steam to come forth around him.
