Emi was aghast by how much was whirlpooled before her, having arrived late seemingly had its consequences. She watched as the discussions and arguments were basically finalized, Miss Izumi had made up her mind and so did this Kiyoshi gentleman. She was picking up their names in her silence, Pahar seemingly enjoyed the refreshing air surrounding Hideaki. Sora seemed to be interested in her korat cat as well, but the situation didn’t reward distractions. Her soft features remained calm, through all of what was said she retained a pleasing smile. It would seem a lot didn’t phase her, but hearing the wounded man would be sent to the Maggots Nest had that smile fade slightly.
”The wounded.. Thrown into a wet cave..”
The small blonde whispered this under her breath, no matter the situation she didn’t enjoy wounds to go untreated. In her eyes, wounded people were akin to mistreated kittens. Her higher up was adamant on not giving care as the Enso fellow didn’t seem keen upon receiving it. She didn’t blame either party and wouldn’t draw any conclusions from this farce; as not only was it not her place, but delving into the mindsets of people was far too migraine contractive. It was far easier to figure out a cat brawl than a conversation between differing people. Her voice was still quiet, but she scuttled over to Hideaki and handed him a box.
”For.. Uh, Mr. Enso.”
She wasn’t sure if the damaged one would accept the offering from another one of the fourth, and hoped the lad would give it to him in her stead. It was the box of smiley bandages, she had specially made them infused with a bit of a potent opioid analgesic. Nothing in high dose, but the cotton was laced with morphine to numb the areas of pain he may have. She didn’t like this send off, glancing at the release papers in mild dismay. Emi handed off this little box of twenty strips before she patted her hip. Pahar was trained well enough to get up from his sitting spot and join her side. He gave Hideaki and Sora a cat’s natural greeting, brushing his entire body against their legs. Emi grabbed hold of him and strabbed the equipment she brought back onto her back, looking at the two lads from division six. They seemingly got Pahar’s blessings, and she gave them both an endearing smile.
”When fourth isn’t on lock down, do visit Pahar~”
The more authoritative chap was a bit serious, but she didn’t put that against him as the situation was in fact dire. Being a medic and all had it’s toll with her and the death of all things, nevertheless she gave a respective nod to him as well. She hadn’t many words for Mr. Kiyoshi, but tried her best to give some before she tapped her shoulder for the feline to hop onto.
”Take care.. Of them. And you.”
Emi enjoyed being a medic more than most would, but she never liked seeing new faces in the ward. People are easier to brush off when they’re not whimpering and writhing in their injuries. No matter what she said, however, she walked calmly behind Miss Izumi to follow her back to the medical center. She had some experiments of her own to conduct back in the lab, trying to nail down some new chemical compound that would be a bit more helpful than bandages. But that was Emi’s task to squabble with, hopefully perfecting it will give a leading edge to healing on the front lines. If not, it’s probably off to the streets to get those tents set up. She awaited on Miss Izumi before making any move, though.
