The pink haired man greeted Jatiri and Jigoku. Jatiri proceeded to decipher the patterned motions of his lips as he spoke. He detected an emphasis on the last word uttered, by observing the intensity of the vibration. The word registered in Jatiri’s mind as “ROOKIE!”.
“I’m Jatiri”, he said loud and clear. His voice was of the monotone type, and he
spoke with great conviction.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you all.” He surveyed the room, turning his head, and directing his words toward everyone. His gaze returned to the pink-haired man, embraced by a gentile smile. Jatiri looked over at the muscle man as pink hair pointed him out to be Kyuuzuo. He noted the man’s powerful presence, and he wanted to learn more about him. Jatiri spaced out for a moment, but remembered to look back at pink hair in time to record his name again, Jiroshizo, Jiro for short. He smirked at Jiro’s remark about potentially losing the third seat. Jatiri immediately grew fond of Jiro’s high spiritedness. He thought, when combined with his strong intellect, very few were worthy of taking the third seat.
Jatiri felt a sudden surge of Reiatsu. The Reiatsu belonged to the tiger himself. He knew then, Jiro possessed great power. Jiro asked him if he was “the winner”. Some critical thinking and awareness aided him in understanding the situation. He nodded, while scanning the compass in Jiro’s hands. Jatiri shifted his attention toward Shinobu and Kyuuzou, before hastily averting his eyes to the ceiling.
He waited a while, then directed his eyes toward Shinobu as she spoke. He
looked at Kyuuzou, after feeling his gaze, and nodded awkwardly. Following Kyu’s cue, they left the dojo. Jatiri opened the door to the captain’s office, before stepping inside.

When it is clear that Jatiri has taken notice of the erupting energy within him—Jiroshizo's smile was visible and radiant enough that it implies that he wasn't doing it out of malice. "Seems like you got potential" He said. Not realizing that he was saying it out loud. It was meant to be an internal one for him and only him to hear. And then he was caught in the act by the lovely Moonflower, causing him to stop right away. He rotated his head to Shinobu, with such an impish smile on his face. His eyes were closed, at the same time, his hand moved onto the back of the head.
"Hahaha—Sorry about that."
He said. With such a sharp tone in his voice, before continuing.
"Was testing the rookies' sensory. Was gon help them with that later on, if they needed mo' work. "
Explaining what was the test for. It might be that he wanted to make sure everyone's skills were on par or good enough to deal with invasions in due time... If there's even an invasion at all. On the other hand? He was hoping to make use of his training methods to help the new recruits in the Ninth Division. After all, this is all but a harsh world.—Either you die or survive.
And then he listened to what the lovely Moonflower had to say, regarding the recruits and then the summon for Jiro, Kyu, and the others. A nodding Pink-haired shinigami continued to listen as he cupped his chin. And then he was paralyzed with fear, that they might be late for the summon from their Captain. A drop of sweat can be visually seen across the forehead as his lips transformed into a cross-like lip. "Let's go to Oyabun's office then! I don't wanna get in trouble...again." He said out loud. A hint of excitement and then it shifted to a depressing tone in his voice when he zeroed into the trouble word. Was he remembering the last time he got in trouble—which resulted in him having to investigate into the Second Division, leading him to where he eventually bare witness the Vizard incident?
The moment Kyu moved away from his spot also prompts Jiro to leave as well. With him right behind the Koi, though he was also right behind Jatiri. A moment which he decided to exploit in jest with him rotating and nudge his head at Shinobu as if it was to follow the giant. Though in his eyes and smile, it was clear that he was just making light of Kyu's behavior just now. He was simply reenacting his best friend just then, for what though? It could be that he could not help but to make light of situations, even if it was serious. His arms scurried inside the clothes as he followed the duo from the back. His hair was the only thing on him that continued to stick out even in the shadow of a giant.
"Mmm. What're you guys feeling like to eat today?"
He decided to speak out as they continued to advance toward the office. It might be something strange, but he was simply curious about what they wanted to eat today. After all, Jiro was one of the many chefs in the Barracks—In truth? The only reason why his food was even good was that he used his Shikai to steal from his fellow members in order to increase his lucky chance of making incredible food. With each taste described as a bite of heaven. A sequence of good luck would initiate with the fellow chefs to be in such great odd with the kitchen while Jiro unphased by all of it. Spices knocked over the shelves, allowing its content to spill onto the pot resulting in an addicting taste. The oven's power turned off by itself in order not to burn the food inside the oven. And more. This might be why the head chef in the kitchen dubbed him as Unlucky Master in awe and fear. A surprise for those who knew him to be a rather clumsy one. The many snacks that Yasu allegedly stole from the Ninth's fridge in the past were of his creation. And so this might be the very secret that he decided to keep to himself; however, Kyu had some vague ideas about it.
Had they responded to his question. Jiro would be ready to take a mental note of what they all wanted. Though this might be postponed for later as they were about to arrive at the office where Jatiri, one of the recruits, opened the door for them to enter.

Kyuuzou shrugged. "I unno', somethin' spicy?" The crew was only three feet from the office but Kyuuzou smelled something potent in the air, the stench of cat piss almost. The lieutenant lowered his head and covered his nose with his arm while opening Maho's office door only to smell some dank, some of that good loud pack along with a cloud of smoke to roll out. "Bruh...what the fuck?" Kyuuzou's eyes were squinted because it seemed like Maho enjoyed keeping tree smoke as a souvenir. He looked at his brother's desk and floor, noticing guts. "...You need to clean this shit up, cause you trippin', the fuck you got goin' on!?" The koi was in somewhat of a bad mood because he had to stop training, but he shut up and lost the attitude since talking shit to his brother lessened some of his anger, but the back and forth banter was always fun. Kyuuzou leaned in the corner and waited to hear what the captain had to say. "I'm not gonna' lie, if this meeting takes more than three minutes I'm gone."

Lavender eyes locked with emerald green ones, flicking her gaze aside upon the smile lining his lips. A faint blush seared through her cheeks. Feelings unfamiliar to her - awkward, demure, and coy; striving to hide her rosy features behind her slim fingers with a curl of blanched hair behind her ear - her cheeks puffed with frustration.
Her proud frame slumped, confliction furrowing her brows. It’s as if her mask slipped, revealing the woman behind the glass smile. Within seconds, her composure returned - beaming from ear to ear.
To the head office - from the dojo would be a short distance to walk. A summoning from Maho-taichou himself was a rarity, especially of a gathering of Jiro, Kyu, and herself together. The last being when they were assigned to missions that lead to months outside the Soul Society. Months that seeded her to become forgotten.
Though, she wasn't troubled by this. Soon she would replant her roots and reclaim her ground. A pair of eyes upon her backside, her neck rolled to return them. A gesture and smile from Jiro, her shoulders raised with a shrug in response. Kyuuzou, a man that refused to grovel at her feet, frustrated her. Unlike the rest, Jiro and Kyu were amongst the little who did not worship the earth she walked upon; differing from many.
Escorting them to the office, Shinobu tread foremost amongst the party.
The way the woman walked, shoulders back, her blanched locks swaying with each step, yet eyes frequently checking her own appearance; it was as if she felt superior and insecure all at once, perhaps that's the emotional optimum of a woman who cared deeply about her image. In deep thought, the small talk chattered amongst them swept over her head - remaining silent until the office came into their vicinity.
With the door sliding open, smoke curled and billowed in dense clouds of sickly scents into the hallway. Tendrils of it swirled up into her lungs, her nostrils flaring as she took whiff of it. Whilst she enjoyed regular smoking sessions with her captain, the scent lingered on clothing and objects alike - giving the air a stale quality to it.
"Hotboxing in your office again, Taichou?" Following the rest into the office, her arms crossed - nodding in agreement with Kyu. ”Some tidying up would do you some good.”
Cocking her head, she took notice of the young boy with a rusted zanpakuto. He’ll have to do.
”You. Slide open the shoji to allow some fresh air to come in.” Indefinitely more of a demand than an order - if he observed the lieutenant sash upon her arm. While demanding, she was considerate of the new recruits, and whilst this appeared to be selfless, it was for them to grasp the better light of her. Being favored was a must.
After, she took her place amongst a seated placement, presuming Jiro and the rookies would follow. Eyeing for Kyu to do the same - before rolling them with his impatient blather.

For a moment there was silence at the mention of his paperwork. It hung in the air for but a moment, before shin, accepting of his small job, brought a matter to the captain that clearly troubled him.
"Yes sir Taichou! ...Also, if I may interject, my reason for coming was to report our findings. Nothing was found out of the ordinary, however, during this mission, I have the pleasure to say, that I've been able to learn of my Zanpakutou's name. During the time spent with Lt. Kyuuzou, I've been able to get a handle and deeper understanding of my Shikai; and because of this, I was wondering if I could perhaps, given the current absence, promote to the Sixth Seat, as it was stated prior that only those who possess an understanding of a shikai could obtain such a rank."

There was a large inhale of smoke once more. The Dragon leaned far back into his chair, feet, bare, propped on the surface of his desk. It was true. Though Maho had yet to see it for himself, he could feel the air around shin. It was different. A close inspection of his Zanpakuto gave it a much more prominent glow of spiritual energy than it had in the past. He had grown. But how much? Did his current growth warrant him to move up a seat? With an influx of new recruits, Maho current prerogative was expanding his divisions' role. He needed more eyes and more hands. At the very least, as his mind shuffled his rankings around. He would at least keep such a thought in the back of his mind.
........I'll keep my mind on it. There are a few changes that are going to be coming to us. But for no-"
There was the sudden sound of his office door coming back open once more. This time without a knock. Though the young Jatiri had opened the door, Shinobu found her way in first, brushing quickly past the new recruit and any other foolish enough to attempt to take the shine away from her. However, it was Kyu's, not hers, who's voice he heard first.
"...You need to clean this shit up, cause you trippin', the fuck you got goin' on!?"
These comments caused his brow to raise. Who the hell do' this little fish think he was talking too? Maho thought. He launched a cloud directly at Kyuuzou, as his voice escaped with fury.
First of all. Who in the hell you think you talkin' to you little punk. How about you worry about them funky ass pits you decided to walk into my spac-
"Hotboxing in your office again, Taichou?"

Shinobu's voice cut through quickly, cutting off what normally would turn into a long-winded rant about bettering oneself, and not talking to your captain like he's a bitch. Her timing couldn't have been better.
"Look you ungrateful maggots. I JUST finished making this mess. Give me a break will ya.
Shinobu barks a single order at Shin, who had arrived before everyone else. As the rest of them fall in. Maho moves his feet from the desk and places it back on the ground. "Well...Since everyone is here..."
"I'm not gonna' lie, if this meeting takes more than three minutes I'm gone."

He gives his brother a sharp glance. Even without being able to see his eyes, he knows the Koi can feel their sharpness baring down on his flesh.
"You'll sit here as long as i tell yo black ass to sit here. Try me if you want too..Kyuuzou."
He exhales another cloud of smoke, then lifts from his chair circling around his desk coming to a stop at the helm of it. All of his divisions' members stand before him, seats two through six. This was more or less his inner circle. Those he trusted the most based on their skill or longevity. For one reason or another, he had faith in their strength and ability to lead and work along with one another.
"Now, I've called you all in here to go over a few things. Given that some of you have been missing for some time. You may be unaware of certain recent events that have transpired here in the Soul Society. Especially if some of you idiots refuse to actually read our SCC articles...
He turns, the dragon tattoo upon his back glaring at each of his recruits. His bare feet glide across the wooden floor as he makes his way to a coat rack in the back.
"From a Kototsu barreling its way through the Rukongai, to the situation related to Hollowfication. We've been slow on getting the information quickly. With that last event we fell behind the second division. And that ain't how I like to roll, feel me?"
The captain grabs one of the few white Haori he has, this one long-sleeved and fit with a hood. He drives his arms through each sleeve as the white fabric floats along with the air, before coming still at his sides.
"With all that being said. We need more eyes in circulation. Often. There shouldn't be an event that either of us misses. Between surveillance using the Danrenshiki's backdoor app features and eyes on the ground, there is no reason our information should come second hand. I'll be dividing you up between certain tasks i think will benefit much of your growth.
He removes the cigar from his teeth, then points it at Jigoku, Jiro, and Shin'. "You three will be under Shinobu's care. Shinobu san, I want you to fill them in on our administrative duties. Take them around the offices and then you're on field duty. I want you to get whatever scooop you can from the other divisions. Use any methods necessary but don't overstay your welcome. You may find that other divisions don't like us snooping around their barracks unwelcomed. In a few hours, I'll call you back here. We have more new arrivals droppin' off on our doorstep soon. I've already put in their requests. " His fingers then point at Jatiri and Kyuuzou. "You two darkies are with me for the day. I've got a few errands to run. In time, I will be evaluating each of you individually on your progress. We will all need to gather and develop our strength quickly. Even i am unsure as to what fate has in store for all of us. I need my division ready for whatever that may be.
Am i understood? If not...speak now..."

He leaves this last section open-ended in case any of them needed clarity. If they were certain, acknowledging his orders were more than enough for him to move on. The day was still fresh, though there was much to be done. He wished to hurry this little segment along. He too, being a captain had his own things to attend to in order to build his strength. And who knew how long it would be before the Commander called upon him once more. There was always time, but it never seemed like enough.
