All while chanting her incantations, Yasu had yet to stop advancing, however, the heavily potent spike in reiatsu that came from the center of the bell is sickly palpable and has chosen to burst forth with the release of his Shikai that threatens to consume her marsh in multitudes and at resounding speeds, however, there is not a hint of panic that rests within her person. As quickly as they come rushing towards her, they seem to completely disappear and she continues, uninterrupted and without a change in trajectory for the time being. While not having seen her senior's Shikai in action as this, Yasu has come to understand the level of mastery that he possessed was surely beneficial, especially in this current environment.
The master of the marsh has her own respective strengths and in turn, was able to create a series of sub-abilities that only furthered her knowledge in her own zanpakutō, allowing for all movement to move at the whims of its caster. Before her ascension as the Second Division's lieutenant, Yasu would have never decided to try for that mantle until she could manage to master her Bankai, consistently working day in and day out, coating herself in the black in and depleting her reiryoku to near-empty with every attempt since. Blood and sweat were poured into mastering this extension of herself, and eventually, she had finally succeeded. She could only be thankful that she had little probable use for it to be used in real combat, but she was never satisfied after the times that it would be released. She could go farther and bigger; with time, the release of Ninth Division's Bankai would cover the entirety of the Seireitei with a twitch of a finger.
“Your allies move without hesitation. You must do the same.”

There is no verbal response, but Yasu moves as she has planned to. The wave of crystalline armor that once shields the Captain-Commander has vanished, and in tandem, the waves of vicious tendrils and hands take a hold of the Shining Knight, their opaque makes dulling the light that he embodies. Around the former circumference of the bell, these black entities latch and crawl upwards, creating large, towering waves that dare to crash down on the Commander at a moment's notice however, these tendrils only spread, farther and farther as they begin sprouting hundreds of individual lotus buds that begin to bloom. For those unfamiliar with the contents of her Bankai, they were as unfamiliar with the Captain of the Ninth Division. Even outside of the bell's former location, hundreds upon hundreds of lotus were in full bloom, and such symbolized the ability known as Han'ei Suru Kajo (繁栄する花序, "Prosperous Inflorescence"). The significance of a bloomed lotus means that an opponent from before had been consumed. As a close-range combatant, if Yasu gets close enough to touch her opponent and force the essence of the marsh into an open orifice, the fallen will become consumed by the mass and materializes into another lotus in her collection. What a trophy would the Commander be had she managed to collect him as the many others before that have taken their place as these budding flowers meant for rebirth.

Its characteristics are a perfect analogy for the condition: even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower. Yet in its beauty, its creation proceeds with darker beginnings. With the number of tendrils that come to surround Higen's body, any struggle would begin to fall futile due to the constant overlapping waves of black that climb the titan to subdue him, or more specifically his arms and legs to root him in place and make him immobile for as long as she could. If that had not been able to quell and steer the monster of a Commander into submission, then the single limb that rises from the marsh, one of many, but in its lonesome emanates a dull red glow and attaches itself to his person. Upon contact, even the Commander would find himself stalled, if for but a moment, but that moment was more than enough for the young Vizard to reveal a face to him, dyed in ink, there is a guttural hiss that falls from her person as she possesses a hold on the Captain-Commander.
Young and full of vigor, the lieutenant-turned-captain finds it in herself to approach the Higen Kagayaki on a more personal level. From a distance, Tenzen Oda of the Fifth Division watches on, his blade in hand, released and at the ready to strike. Above them, his loyal lieutenant hovers above, taking the aerial view of things with his own Shikai released, and begins striking down on the Commander in quick succession to the erasure of the bell. Yasu deems it necessary, and with her reveal to him bobs in the sea of black, the inky black maw she possessed pries open and is filled with a luminous orange glow that only two individuals were familiar with after experiencing it so up close and personal. Captain Yū Nakamoto was able to witness the beast of a quick and successive stream of raw power, and the former Captain-Commander Shobatsu Murasaki had dealt with the brunt force of a slow accumulating bomb set to bring disaster on the place under his protection.
“Cero.”
In a point-blank shot, Commander Kagayaki would have to deal with the simultaneous rain of light from Arashi Suta and stream of unadulterated fiery wrath that streamed from the abysmal mouth of Yasu Yūgure without the precious protection of his crystal shards due to the scripted actions of Tenzen Oda and his ominous golden mist.

Theme of 5th Division/Kido Corps
There was a time when Fifth Division and Kido Corps were known for their usage of Shinigami spells. If something needed to be sealed, Fifth Division was the first to be contacted, if it was a strange artifact it was secured by Kido Corps. Anything abstract or “Magical” was handled by these two Divisions outside of that they weren’t thought about much. When they gained their new Captain, Tenzen Oda, he vowed to reform them, vowed that under his command they will become militarized and respond to any threat to Soul Society the moment their foe breathes it’s air. Battle Readiness is what this is and after one hundred years of rigorous drilling which saw Fifth Division not only shine with Kido but also bolstered their other skills as well.
A fool will underestimate this newly reformed Fifth Division, where one would expect them to fire off a torrent of Kido they may instead be met by blades, fists, a dazzling display of speed or a combination of all three. A division ruled by a man from a militaristic clan was destined to follow in its footsteps, however, the core of what Fifth and Kido Corps truly are was not lost during this, if anything their focus on Kido rose with their other skills as well. With coordination and a spell specially crafted by their Captain they have become the Seireitei’s first artillery unit. No longer will invading forces be able to run amok and uncontested as they will have to fight off Shinigami and avoid a rain of precise destruction from above.
They do not fire off a random assortment of Kido for this maneuver, no, they use a spell created by their Captain. Multiple circles made up of Kido Energy appear in front of them, these circles display the coordinates of their target much like how Bakudō #58. Kakushitsuijaku (摑趾追雀, Footprint-Attentive Pursuing-Sparrows; Viz "Seize Foot, Chase Sparrow") heightens a users senses to acquire their target. Once locked onto the spell fires a volley of energy orbs that explode upon contact with any solid structure. This spell is labeled as forbidden to use by all except those within Fifth Division and Kido Corps due to the training and coordination required to use the spell. Once a member of Fifth Division or Kido Corps transfers to a different Division they are no longer allowed to use the spell. The cost of using this spell while not a part of the Division was set high by Tenzen Oda, a permanent stay in Maggots Nest.
Fifth has become a place of pure military might, warriors who won't hesitate to cut down any hostility aimed at them or the Seireitei. Tenzen’s ideal Division was born through rigorous training and tenacity, constantly keeping his men on their toes. There were even some in his Division who aided in this trend by becoming menaces to their fellow Division members and even to Tenzen himself when he was at the barracks. This is what a Division looks like under the rule of an Oda for one hundred years.
In the absence of their Captain, who is gone to train his Vizard powers against the mighty Captain Commander, they still run their military drills. A group practices their Zanjutsu, another practicing Hakuda, and yet another group practices their Shunpo. They keep themselves occupied with not a slacker in sight, those caught slacking are swiftly attacked without warning. Few are able to fight back against these sudden attacks and as of recent decades the number of transfers out of Fifth Division have gone up. It has gotten to the point where their Captain doesn’t even bat an eye at it anymore. He knows full well that the ones who remain are the strong ones who will continue to grow and become valuable assets to Soul Society.
There is silence at the Senkaimon as there often is, the sounds of training in the distance are faint but it is the only thing that can be heard. New mandate set by their Captain has the Senakimon clear of obstruction and loiterers at all times. More so, those who seek to use it are to have a message forwarded to the Senkaimon guards by a commanding officer. Shinigami who rush towards the gate asking to be let through without permission will receive a single warning to turn away and get proper clearance. Further persistence after said warning will be met with binding and imprisonment. That being established the two guards stationed at the gate are vigilant and aren’t to be taken lightly. From the elusive Kido Corps they stand as faceless enigma’s ready to act out any of their pre established orders.
"Eizo...ku. Dan...gai. H...elp. Op...en."
A voice reaches the minds of the guards, they glance at each other and send a message out to a Head Priestess then wait. A few moments later a Head Priestess arrives with her guards along with a plethora of Fifth Division troops armed with Kaikyō Kotei (界境固定, Realm Boundary Fixation; Viz "Boundary Fixation") that will be used to stop the Kōryū (拘流, Wresting Flow) from consuming them. This will allow them to fight freely should they encounter any hostility within the Dangai itself. But why are they so ready to heed this message, what if it is a trap? Well this too was an order from their Captain, who has kept a close eye on the Dangai between his training. One hundred years ago Eizoku entered the Dangai then vanished from it without a trace. Despite the bizarre happenings within the Dangai there was a reason Tenzen sent the Third Seat there and that was due to faith in the young man’s abilities. Receiving the report of him vanishing Captain Oda only told them to wait and stand by, when he returns make a quick retrieval with or without him. This order is why they now act without their Captain present.
The Senkaimon guards open the gate and with the Head Priestess at the helm her guards and an organized formation of fifty Fifth Division Shinigami enter the Dangai in hopes of finding Eizoku Yugameru.

” It must be awful that we lost so many lives, but I’m sure it was a sacrifice that needed to be made. They all died with honor and in battle, the greatest death to a Shinigami knowing they have fulfilled their duties. This is why it’s important to make every day count and be thankful for the days we live in. You are worthy to have been scouted to be a member of the first division Kasu. You have done a lot for those who can call themselves a Shinigami because of you. I’ll make a promise that I will kidnap you whenever I have a slight chance to go to the world of the living so you can see more than just this place, beyond the walls and barriers of this world.”
Kasu smirks briefly at her last statement. As if she ever had a choice to deny. Then again, if they- or rather, as if she will ever get the chance to leave these walls.
” It is a new atmosphere I won’t lie about that but it’s nothing new with what I have done in the 10th as a lieutenant there. If anything it’s just a slight upgrade with other things I have to look over now. It’s not just the 10th I have to look after but every division’s lieutenants..and as to why I left, that's simple enough. It’s because Higen wanted someone familiar who knows his workflow without having to explain it to a new person in what he does...I won’t lie, I do miss 10th. It was full of lively idiots who I could call family... but getting too comfortable can be a bad thing. That's why I know the members who are in 10th will do great and protect what they must. With the help of the other divisions they can surely control the havok within the world of the living.”
To see that the new Head Lieutenant holds a heart somewhat similar to the likes of Lady Oki was undoubtedly pleasing. Kasu found herself nodding, agreeing to her every word, approving of her comment and confidence towards her previous Squad. Truly, she felt the same for her’s, despite the loss of a former comrade, even though his death was of his own doing. Still, she did not shed a tear or feel her heartache at the news when presented. Whether she cared or not no one could truly guess then, nor at this point in time after 100 years.
Her legs cross, and arms fold beneath her chest. She becomes comfortable in Fuyuko’s presence, eager to pick her brain further and see how she ticks. Despite the familiarity between herself and Commander Kagayaki, it is she and Fuyuko who needed to develop that same bond, that same fluidity in their work.
” While I will enjoy the expedition to the World of the Living, it may be a while before we can embark, let alone have any free time to do so. However, as the Head Lieutenant, what do you plan to accomplish first? What are your goals?”
The air smoothly transitions from pleasantries and idle conversation to a serious and business-related one. While her questions prove to be something similar to that of an interview, it is rather her trying to understand her goals and prepare herself for the road ahead. After all, she is her assistant. The vision is far greater when both eyes are on the same goal.

Arriving at the Soul Society as his request had been made approved with conditions though this is made clear to him that his absence warrants an explanation if there were any. To recap what had happened to him; he was stranded in the World of the Living due to the ambush of which claimed the lives of both his Captain and Lieutenant. The thought of being arrested certainly had crossed his mind as he pressed his hand against his throat, reminiscing about the times he had with his close friends he couldn't help but wonder whether if there'll be people that still remember him. After all, in the business of a Shinigami, their comrades come and go, with change.
"Okay. Where do I go first... " he contemplated as he examined his surroundings, filled by noises and whispers. "At this point, I need to talk to someone about my situation!". Anxiety overwhelmed his senses with such ease this caused him to seek assistance from the shinigami within the Divison in charge of enforcing the laws.
"Okay. Long story short. I got stranded in the World of the Living for er. a reason and finally got back after all of those years." He said, without breaking the beat as he knew that if he had delayed his time. It would be more difficult on his part to explain as he was technically in the World of the Living without permission and that usually warrants trouble. Though he assumed that if he could speak to someone in charge about what happened to him and maybe to avoid even more troublesome charges on his part, by turning himself in and without trouble..."I'm here to turn myself in, and... If you could connect me to one of the superiors... That'd be appreciated." he said as he reluctantly turned himself in, unsure of what will happen to him.

Approval was given to Jiroshizo Raikyu to cross through the Senkaimon, this much was true, however, what would happen to him upon entering the grounds of Fifth Division was another story. His arrival is not met by a parade or least of all friendly faces, his arrival is met by a host of Fifth Division Shinigami with blades drawn and more still on rooftops aimed at him with Kido. The gate behind him is swiftly closed before he has time to reconsider his decision on crossing over. The two gate guards clasp their hands together, one casting Bakudō #61. Rikujōkōrō (六杖光牢, Six Rods Prison of Light; Viz "Six-Rod Light Restraint") and another casting Bakudō #63. Sajō Sabaku (鎖条鎖縛, Locking Bondage Stripes; Viz "Ethereal Binding Chain"). Six thin wide beams of light slam into his midsection, halting his movement followed by a thick golden rope wrapping around him further hindering it. A member of Fifth Division steps forward aiming his blade at the man who had been missing for One Hundred years, yes Fifth Division was aware of this man and his accomplices as guardians of the gate that leads to the Living World all who pass through it are known by them.
When Jrio sent a request to be let through it was readily accepted, accepted with the anticipation of a hostile attack hence the reason why so many in the Division showed up to “greet” him. He pleads his case, speaking of how he was stranded in the world of the living for years and how he wants to turn himself in for what had happened to him. The Shinigami holding his blade at Jiro finally began to speak.
”Shinigami are constantly patrolling the world of the living with working Denreishinki X. In addition your Zanpakuto could have been used as a key to open the Senkaimon to return. Being stranded is no excuse, it is abandonment of the Gotei 13 to be gone for over one hundred years. The only superior you will be speaking to is Captain Oda. That is all.”
Circling around behind him two more Shinigami grab him by his shoulder and push him forward, surprisingly enough he will find that his legs work just fine, enough for him to walk. The young man is stripped of his Zanpakuto and lead to a "Special Confinement Gaol" (特別拘禁牢, Tokubetsu Kōkinrō ; Viz "Special Detention Cell") which is reserved for prisoners of considerable power. His level of power is unknown so no chances were to be taken with him, he will speak to a superior in due time.
Sometime later the Senkaimon would open up again, with the Head Priestess being the first to exit followed by her guard and then Fifth Division troops carrying Eizoku in a Kido box. This was no ordinary Kido box, it was Goyōgai (五養蓋, Five Support Cover), a spell used to place the person or object within into a sort of stasis that can hold of death from vital injuries. With all the troops returned from the Dangai the gate closes behind them followed by the Priestess taking control of the situation, having her guard channel their Reiryoku into the spell keeping Eizoku alive. In a blink she and her guard vanish from sight, their destination, Fourth Division.
