“Breathe, or you’ll miss your mark.”

“Well I am gonna take you up on that offer, as I’m a bar owner, and I find my bar looking rather… industrial, and I’d like to add some plants to add to the place so it keeps the customers in, though I’m not too sure what to get, but the only thing on my mind is having two large cherry blossom trees standing out in the front entrance to give shade and a more welcoming atmosphere.”
At least he was aware of what he wanted. Not exactly letting down her guard, she moved from behind the counter and kept her distance. While she was alone, it was alright to roam without feeling the need to be cautious. When regular customers are present, Blume can still keep a close enough distance so long as she has her sealing properties in check. However, other than natural resources and assorted members of the Diamante Family, coming into contact with an outsider was dangerous. While she considered quincies as allies, there were always that small few who didn’t deserve that luxury.
“Well, we’re skilled with Botany, so you’re in luck today. It depends on what you may want. If you’d like to match the outer decor and bring the outside inside, then I’d suggest a series of hanging pots.” Walking around, Blume pointed to the various sets that dangled from the netted screen that was left open because of the good weather this day. “Two of the most popular we have are our Maidenhair ferns or aloe vera. As for a bit larger than life pieces, if you want a splash of color, I suggest white orchids or anthuriums.”
Oh, she was rambling again, but after several years of working with plants, spouting things were just average, especially if you knew what you were doing. However, now thinking that it was going to be inside anyway…

“However, if you want to get your money’s worth, we carry a special series, also known as moon flowers. They thrive in the night and the shade. You add around two cups worth of water every twelve hours, so choose wisely. Otherwise, it can be overwatered or not enough. It’s beautiful.”
Blume felt the unnatural pull of absorption beginning to stir, and she panicked a bit. Would he feel the sluggishness of his actions to come? It seemed as if the distance between them meant little. If somehow a problem stirred, they’d have to take it elsewhere. She liked this shop. And to hell with it being ruined.

Heavy taps could be heard against the flooring as he would walk around a bit, his hand moving over to some of the plants to give a gentle touch. He didn’t say anything as she spoke of the various flowers, hanging pots would be nice, but he wasn’t too sure where to hang them. Once she spoke about the two most popular he would look around for a moment, spotting the two, and slowly shook his head, as those plants didn’t seem like they were the right fit. As for the orchids and anthuriums, he didn’t much care for, as she spoke he continued his walking about the area.
“However, if you want to get your money’s worth, we carry a special series, also known as moon flowers. They thrive in the night and the shade. You add around two cups worth of water every twelve hours, so choose wisely. Otherwise, it can be overwatered or not enough. It’s beautiful.”
This had caused him to stop his movements, before turning towards her, now she had his attention, a flower that thrived during the night and in shade, a costly one but it would surely be worth it? To him it would be a yes. It would help his shop feel a little more relaxed, as it already stood out compared to the area that surrounded his bar. Though a panicked expression on her; though he wasn’t too sure as he would take a step forward, only now noticing how tall this girl was; she was the same height as him though this didn’t bother him, as he began to step towards her. “Say… Is your fami-” he stopped talking for a moment, as he felt like the energy was drained? Was it possible that she was taking in his Reiryoku? It felt familiar though something of that to his own kind like his brothers and sisters.
Either way he wasn’t going to have any of it as his body would flicker and reappear near the entrance with a Hirenkyaku, though he had reappeared with a basic Reshi bow pointing at her and an arrow readying to fire at her. “Another quincy, and here I thought I wouldn’t meet one anytime soon…” He only manifested a Reshi bow if only due to him wanting to make her think he was a lower quincy, and hopefully she would reveal what she had before he would; though he still hated the bow that was created as it was the standard glowing light blue. As for the reason with the hostile actions against the young lady, he wasn’t too sure if she was friend or foe, as his family had been in isolation for long enough that they were almost forgotten; his family though told him beware of the other quincies, they might be enemies.

The way his speech had cut off, Blume knew that it was time. Adjusting the gloves around her wrist, Blume had yet to look up. He was gone from behind her and instead heard him from another distance. Closer by the door but not outside. He did the work for her, but it was still inside the flower shop. She was collecting an amicable amount of reishi at the bottom of her soles, the ominous glow of gold beginning to dampen the area around them.
“Another Quincy, and here I thought I wouldn’t meet one anytime soon…”
Luckily for her that the shop was cleared of any outsiders for the time being. When he spoke again, Blume had finally looked up to meet the larger Quincy and found him with a bow with no arrow loaded. Fine with her. She was no threat. However, it didn’t mean that he wasn’t one. With a quick stride backward, Blume practically slid around as if she was skating on wheels back to the front desk, so they were somewhat facing one another. She liked keeping distance. And the farther she was, the less she would feed off of him, but from the plants around her.
“Likewise, but I’d suggest staying where you are now. For your sake at least.”
She couldn’t precisely outright tell him that it was an involuntary pull, but when her body felt the power, they wanted that power, even with the sealing properties intact. Had he decided to flush forward, Blume wouldn’t be able to help herself any further. The release of her reiatsu would cause him pain upon exposure. This was an enclosed space, and without much room, there’d be little escape for anything.
“Ich bin kein Feind.” She held her hands up in front of her and exhaled. “Nicht, wenn du es nicht schaffst.”

She seemed to slide herself back with ease, his eyes shifted down as she did so, before she came to a full stop, from examination she kept a small amount of Reshi build up around her feet to move with ease. his eyes squinted a bit as she seemed to keep her distance. Now he wondered what kind of fighter she was? Close, far or mid range? Only she knew and he was about to find out.
“Likewise, but I’d suggest staying where you are now. For your sake at least.” and it appeared she wasn’t expecting to meet another quincy as well, yet still he didn’t know her. Something was happening with the plants, they seemed to be… withering just a bit, was she feeding off the natural Reshi they provided? Questions started to arose. He didn’t press forward as he didn’t like the idea of fighting in enemy territory, along with the fact that fighting hand to hand, wasn’t his forte; That was his ranged combat, or rather midrange combat, as true form for his weapon excelled in suppression. His eye shifted side to side for a moment. No one around; odd that people seem to just disappear right before something was about to happen. Once she spoke again his attention would turn back to her.
“Ich bin kein Feind. Nicht, wenn du es nicht schaffst.” her hand would raise up as she spoke, yet still he wasn’t exactly trusting even if she did speak german. Ich würde nicht sicher wissen, ob Sie ein Freund oder ein Feind waren,” Now he was curious as his hand moved towards bow string, pulling it back and forming an arrow to which his aim wasn’t her but just beside her, in which he loosed it. The arrow would travel fast and would most likely hit whatever was beside the right of her head. “But I’m more than willing to see what you’re made of” he was curious as to what extent she were along the power scale she was at. How she fights, along with Who she is, under pressure.

“Sie haben Ihre Wahl getroffen.”
Blume wasn’t deterred from the moment the arrow had finally shaped to when it was loosed and came sailing towards her. With ease, her arm extended out in front of her, and the stitching in her gloves began to come alight. Just as the tip of the arrow came to rest upon the pad of her index finger, it immediately began to disassemble and become drawn into her glove, seeing as that it was a tool for absorption for excess reishi. Her eyes had yet to leave Frederick’s. The natural light tint had darkened with a glare, losing all of the shine within her ocean blue orbs.
“If you want to fight, we take it out of this shop. Unfortunately, for you...”
Illustration438.png

The older woman from before had yet to leave from the back, and Blume commanded her to take over ASAP. Meanwhile, Blume had dropped the apron and tossed it in his general direction just for him to take his attention off of her. In that time, Blume’s steps were silent when Quick Skate was active. She practically glided across the floor and stopped in front of him, well aware of what could have happened. As she passed, the plants around her shriveled and crumbled onto the floors. Even the moonflower, so precious, had fallen from Blume’s unnatural intake.
When she came face to face with Fredrick, her last step had cracked the ground beneath her soles, and the glass around them followed suit, threatening to shatter completely. In such proximity, the overwhelming pressure would begin to fall upon the other Quincy. Her hands rested in front of her, poised and positioned in grace despite the looming presence that she exuded. Her bloodlust was so potent that it nearly took a physical form. Blume's conscious release is less severe than that of an unconscious choice but is nonetheless proven to be suffocating and unbearable to those with less than equal to her embodiment. Upon release, Blume's reiatsu comes rising in like a violent tsunami, waves of unadulterated power kissing the heavens only to come crashing down to shake the earth's core. Those within the surrounding area may get the feeling of being washed away from the intensity of her presence alone. She was lenient for now. She did not want to cause too much harm to the area around her nor its people.
“...I dislike fighting.”
