Michi’s Battle music
“Let me carve into Your flesh what true suffering is like””
Relentless attacks came at her like one after another, She shifted side to side to gracefully dodge each and every one of the attacks sparing her some injuries. However...she caught in the corner of the eye his blade swinging down towards her, his attempt to cut her down with shoulder gash. Not being able to move in time she took on the blade in her shoulder, leaving her face to scrunch up in pain, a Dark crimson fluid flowed down her arm, back and front eventually dripping to the ground her blood. Her other hand gripped onto his wrist, with a powerful push with her shoulder became free from the blade. She ignored the huge gash which oozed out her blood.
Michi looked at him, seeing that he was flowing with energy. No, not energy, but electricity for a Kido spell known as Hado #11 Tsuzuri Raiden, The spell can be dangerous depending on how powerful the voltage is. With this one, it looked like it was about to be vastly more powerful than the average. In time she casted her own spell to counter him, this was just before the blades ever did touch. Her zanpakuto generates powerful energy as well, blasting the Hado #78 Zangerin, which came across as an energy slash.
Hopefully the blast distracted or slowed Shoumetsu down by a few minutes, Michi used Shunpo to create a fair bit of distance between the two combatants. Not wasting any time at all she casted another Kido spell, this time it was a Bakudo spell, Bakudo spell to trap him to prevent anymore bloodshed. Pointing her finger in his direction, a light shot at him. All of a sudden surrounding him were six yellow rods, All trapping him in the midsection this was Bakudo #61 Rikujokoro. She followed this up with another bakudo spell to be extra secure on trapping him, with light rope wrapping around his body, tightly preventing him from breaking out at least, she casted the Bakudo #63 Sajo Sabaku, this was all an attempt to at least slow him down, so she can give a warning to him.
she stared at him tilting her head with her arms folded over her body while her Zanpakuto still in her hand, in her usual soft voice she warned.
”Please return to your Division or be imprisoned..”

Fear
“an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat”

Over the course of multiple lifetimes, the current pillar in 10th Division, Lieutenant Shizuka Hyouzoku, never had to feel this egregious feeling. Life was seemingly going on a upwards spurt, personal responsibility seemed to be fleeting, his love was found, and his strength seemed to be growing day by day. All good things are not meant to last, but to have almost everything taken away from you? To have the strength you were once proud of trounced by a foe. To watch your comrade die in front of you and be helpless? To have your pillar and commander be subjected to leave his own division?
.......... it was nothing, but the beginning of true change.
-Southwest Seiretei, Under Captain's Quarter-
In a room surrounded by an oasis of green crystals, brimming with the most potent reiryoku, Shizuka Hyouzoku stands at the focal point, the center of the room, reminiscing on how time has past. He carries the weight of his dead comrades on his mental, Kuro Yakimono especially. A soul he wasn't able to save due to his own weakness, Ryuga Iba another case in example of his weakness. He held their souls dear to his heart, but he knew this was all due to his lack strength and will. Sidelined in the Arrancar Invasion, due to his pre-existing injuries, he was forced to hear how his comrade was disassembled in battle.
He shed tears of pure frustration.
The results of the former Captain Commander, Shobatsu Murasaki's murder on the members of C46 left the Soul Society in a state of panic. Immediately ushering a new era with his arrest, the era of Captain Commander Higen Kagayaki, Former Captain of 10th Division. With Higen's promotion, he took the then current acting Vice Captain Fuyuko Kasumi, and made her Head Lieutenant in 1st Division. Thus leaving Shizuka by his lonesome to cater to 10th Division himself. His skills didn't warrant him to be a Captain at the time, but the new Captain Commander made his promotion to Lieutenant effective immediately. While it was for the front of needing an interim leader within the division, to the Soul Society. Shizuka will never forget the personal task bestowed upon him by Higen. It was to be kept in upmost secrecy and the way it was delivered made it seem very detrimental for Shizuka to complete this task. Over 100 years Shizuka made sure to live up to his expectations, not only by accomplishing that, but by taking 10th Division by the reigns and making sure the division does not fall greatly from it's former grace.
"Ahh, it might be time to get a breather. Perfecting my craft in this sanctuary will only come with time"
As he spoke his words bounced off of the rock solid fortitude of the crystals, filling every void of the room with sound. He picked up his Zanpakuto from the ground and made his way out of the emerald cavern.
-Outside Captain's Quarter's-
In the empty abandoned quarters, you could hear the slow footsteps tattering up stairs. The place hadn't been used constantly since Higen's departure, and outside of select individuals no one knew of the hidden room that had been constructed underground. Encompassed by a hidden door behind the Captain's former desk, in which the Lieutenant had just appeared from. Being completely cautious, using his second to none sensory skills to detect anyone nearby who might be a trespasser. Being pestered by his current 3rd Seat constantly about his random disappearances, he needed to be careful on his location.
"The coast is clear"
He exited the building casually, getting ready to make his way to his own quarters. Then suddenly, his Denreishinki begins to vibrate constantly. It's signal returning from being back into the main Seireitei area he checks it immediately to see if he's missed anything important as he strolls back to the main barracks. He comes across a text from a contact listed as "Advisor", with words that cause his heart rate to rise a bit, his face developing a small grin.

“Will you be available for dinner anytime soon?
I’ll be within your jurisdiction for a week or so.
It’s been a while since we’ve had a chat, face-to-face.
I understand if you’re busy though, Hyouzoku-kun.
I’m also sorry if I interrupted you while you’re working. Ganbare! Talk to you soon.
As usual, please take care of yourself.”

Disguised as a different contact name, the "Advisor" was no one other than Blume Diamonte, the current reigning Empress of the Quincy. A woman he became infatuated with during their first sighting in Naruki City, they've kept tabs on each other over time and developed a genuine romance with each other. With Shizuka risking his life and everything he owns to stay with her, "a forbidden relationship" one might say. The young shinigami was pressed to answer his lover, and responded
"I'm sorry for not responding as quickly, you know I've been busy with these new responsibilities lol
I'll let you know when I can go to Naruki City, with no "extra luggage" I've been wanting to see you to..
How's your day been going?"

Shizuka as soon as he sent the message through, felt a slight drop in his heart. He knew he could only keep this up for so much longer, as a Lieutenant there was a radar on him, that didn't truly exist when he was a lowly 3rd Seat. That was when their relationship was in their prime, but now with increased responsibility his movements are being watched more than ever. Evaluation that never stops, especially when your former Captain runs the entire Soul Society currently.
Dawdling in his steps, the young Vice Captain notices as he is moving closer to his own quarters, that the amount of personnel that accompanies the 10th has been spread out very thin. His first instinct is to call upon his 3rd Seat, but as soon as he reaches into his pocket he instinctively notices the presence of someone right behind him. His appearance was so swift and efficient it was almost as he blended within the air itself. Shizuka turned around instantly and there it was a cloaked figure standing so gently behind him, waiting for his presence to be acknowledged by the former 3rd Seat. Before Shizuka could even utter a word, the man spoke-

”Lieutenant Shizuka Hyouzoku of Tenth Division.”
"Hm?"
"By order of Commander Kagayaki, you are to immediately report to the meeting hall in the First Division. That is all sir.”

The man bows respectfully before vanishing at a moment's notice.
Shizuka knew if he needed to be summoned by his former Captain in this manner, it was a serious matter. The new Vice Captain gave no thought to this and immediately changed his course for Central. Knowing what he knew in the back of his mind, Shizuka was left with many dangerous assumptions of what he was being called for. No matter what though, he would play it cool and make his way expeditiously.

He watched how she weaved through his attacks at the beginning which was interesting to see she could keep up with his attacks performed at toned down speed. Michi proved to be alert when the tells of his attacks were purposely shown but how would she fare when this was no longer the case? It was curious why he decided to slow down his attacks, but what purpose did this serve? Just a mere seconds ago he performed an attack that was not perceivable if he didn’t give the small signification of what was to come. The answer was simple to those who were keen on the art of deception and misdirection which was a staple of Shoumetsu's actions from growing up in the Rukongai. Shoumetsu was gifted with such insight that only amplified his use of Iaido Jutsu and his animalistic battle instincts that allowed him to adapt to situations at rapid paste. Michi found herself facing down a monster bred for a war unlike something she hasn't ever clashed against, and even some say Shoumetsu's brutality is comparable to the hollow. Others tried to run or defeat their inner demons he instead devoured them becoming one with them and accepting them wholeheartedly. This is what allowed him to do such a simple act as flipping a switch in his mind that burned away all notions of allies and enemies, morality, honor, and other thoughts that simply hindered one's judgment calls in battle. He was a natural-born killer who could cut down anything that stood in his path without hesitation or remorse, and also one of the reasons when leaving the Shino Academy if he wasn’t accepted into the 11th division, his next viable choice would have been the 2nd division.
Michi Kiyoshi did show promise of being a talented shinigami amongst the Gotei 13 but in actual battle scenarios. She was inexperienced. At the start, she challenges him to “bring it”, but only in a matter of seconds, she is trying to wrap up the fight, threatening to arrest him if he doesn't leave. Indecisiveness in the face of death is what determines crucial outcomes on who comes out the winner and falls prey defeated. Faced against a threat who did not waver and his fighting style centered around responding to opponents' reactions her chances were already slim. Since the moment she reacted to the small tell of her hand being cut off, everything he expected went according to his plan forcing her completely on the defensive with no chance to catch her breath or properly react. When one’s mind senses a threat, their first reaction or to go on the defense, which is exactly what she did after hastily yanking her hand out of the way. Immediately before she had a chance to gather her thoughts Shoumetsu began his onslaught forcing her to dodge with the electrical current surging across him, making even blocking detrimental. This only left her few options to try to endure the electrical current that would have transferred to her fighting up close, focus her attention on avoiding any physical contact and the best way to do that is to put distance between the two combatants relying on ranged methods of attacks. Though that transition of rushed evading and retreating during getting heavily overwhelmed is what the monster waited for to deliver the fatal blow. Every move by Shoumetsu to this very point all served a deliberate calculated purpose and preparation to end this battle quickly or test how strong she was if managed to endure.
The second his feint attack managed to slice cleanly through her shoulder leaving the deep wound so did the electrical current transfer into her. The electrical voltage of Hado #11coursed strongly through her entire body causing a surge of pain as he became electrocuted by him, and immediately followed up. There was no hesitation or second-guessing in any of his actions, all being executed within seconds of one another shifting his weight to one side causing his body to become parallel to his body and clashing it with his channeled energy wave to create a point-blank explosion while she attempted to retreat some distance back. He wondered how well she could perform her bakudo with stacking injuries one after the other, seriously putting her to the test, but unfortunately for her, the attempt to slow him down was not the case. He charged directly through the explosion of the energy attacks bursting through it, not letting her get a chance to catch her footing, and the time for the beast to strike had come upon her. The answer to the question of why Shoumetsu decided to purposely make his sword attacks slower painstakingly revealed itself; they were meant to keep her focus solely on the movements of his blades. What was more a kick that defeats or a kick that kills? For Michi, the answer was neither but a kick that crushes all in his path. In the midst of her performing the Bakudo #61 Rikujokoro, Shoumetsu was already in her face with his leg raised just inches from her body. In the second it took for the six yellow rods that would have surrounded the two of them because of the proximity he delivered a one-inch kick to her midsection with enough strength it would have sent her flying through the barracks wall with an incredible amount of force and breaking her rib cage. Like a ragdoll, Michi crashed through the 6th division tumbling across the floor before finally coming to a skidding stop when smashing against something strong enough to endure the momentum of her body. The chances of the rest of her body suffering fractures were likely from the amount of strength he put into his deciding blow to try and end this match, and if she remained conscious all depended on how resilient she was. No matter what the outcome of Michi happened to be after suffering that attack Shoumetsu sheathed his two kodachi and began to walk calmly out of the vicinity of the barracks. If she managed to remain standing wanting to continue the fight he would gladly oblige her but in the chance, she fell unconscious he left her there for the 6th division to deal with.
” Learn from your defeat and strive to grow stronger then come fight me again, Michi Kiyoshi. I'll be in 11th division waiting for your arrival anytime.”

The fact his blade cleanly cut through her shoulder blade, making a massive gash with blood oozing out, left her responses to be quite slower then usual. Not only this his electrical faults of his hado #11 also touched her due to his blade carving into her skin. The voltage was extremely powerful, though despite being injured Michi endured the electrical current, a tough cookie though there was a point she wanted to submit to it. Her blood curdling screams were held back by her mouth.
In attempt on escaping this torture of being eletrocuted by Shoumetsu, she channelled enough energy to create an explosion to deter him away from her, which she ended up on some what retreating in his eyes, though she merely shunpo’d out of the way to create fair bit of distance between them. Boy she was wrong about that. Her opponent easily burst through the energy explosion. In the middle of her incantation, he flickered in front of her face, their faces merely inches apart, Michi’s Bakudo #61 yellow rods of light surrounded them both. During this time she felt his knee, raising up to her midsection. He was about to kick her, However in attempts, she blocked his kick to prevent her ribs from shattering, from the impact of his kick. Despite the fact she blocked his devastating kick, it did lead her flying back to her barrack’s closest wall. With the impact on her body slamming against the wall did lead to her ribs cracking from the pressure.
Her being kicked back to a wall like a doll being thrown on the ground, led her to not only crack a few rips but got her to cough up blood, which ended up dripping down her pale face. She was in immense pain. Her body ached, her bones fractured in her arms and mainly. She peeled herself against the wall, with each step she took closer towards Shoumetsu who clearly started to walk away. Her arms felt heavy as she lifted up to reach out to the eleventh division member and she tried to speak up to say she was not done however no sound came out from her lips. Her body crashed to the floor, causing a heavy and loud smack sound. She heard the rough male only slightly making out the words.

“Learn from your defeat and strive to grow stronger, then come fight me again, Michi Kiyoshi, I’ll be in 11th division waiting for your arrival anytime.”
Was all Michi heard, before she fell unconscious. The unseated members of the sixth division began to panic, as they scrambled to surround Michi’s unconscious body, One member picked her up with ease and immediately began to take her to the fourth division to heal up, along with him were two others.
