The shrill cry of a ringtone sounds as his Denreishiki vibrates against his hip. Uzu Ogawa picks it up, only to see both alerts from the caller and the messages sent, but choosing to answer the call first only to be greeted by a shrill voice.
"Uzu! I know you're around the Southwest quadrant right now. Get Lieutenant Kiyoshi in the Sixth Division right now. I know you've seen the alerts too, so we need to prepare to receive the incoming individuals at the Western Gate. The Captain is still in Central, so he needs to be there now. I'll call Zen'no so he's prepared. You know how difficult he is."
Not even after that, it was a quick click and the kid couldn’t even get a word in. Picking out his ear after having it been assaulted, Uzu let out a sigh after having been interrupted despite not doing much other than patrolling. He looked down at the device in distaste and clicked on the multiple messages that filled his screen.
127c454db7ba4a952454f9546f96bf1d.png

"What a fucking asshole... Prepare for what? The hell is..."
As he reads the following alerts, Uzu kicks it in high gear and hauls his ass towards the Sixth Division, pumping his arms and breathing through his mouth as fast as he could go. Yet what he didn’t expect was the multiple explosions that came from there. What the hell is going on? Coming up to the barracks, he practically forced himself past the shinigami of Sixth in search of his lieutenant, scrambling in with panic in his face.
"Lieutenant! Lieutenant, there’s a lot going on right now, but you need to get to the Western Gate. Check your phone for more details. Captain Yugure is still indisposed, so you’ll have to receive and oversee the incoming parties."
Uzu is keeled over, hands on his knees and out of breath when he catches a particular individual in his line of sight. That wild person that Akuyaku had thrown in was here… and not imprisoned? Did Sixth Division not understand what the situation was? Or did their highest-ranking officer not care that a century-year deserter had come to him on a silver platter? Lifting a finger towards the entity, Uzu looks around, first at his lieutenant and then at the others, which he was surprised at seeing the members of Eleventh there, but they were probably there causing the explosions and chaos, as Eleventh usually does.
"Th… that guy is a deserter. I thought the other shinigami of Ninth escorted him here to be imprisoned. What’s he doing out? Was he freed?"
The Sixth Division was all about laws and roles, so what the hell was actually going on?

All around them trapped in the darkness cast upon them by Lt Shusuke with the reiatsu signatures scattered in different locations slowly began to rise and fall. The first to fall victim was the unfortunate 3rd seat of the 6th division Sora who tried his best to endure the barrage of attacks from them but soon found himself succumbing to the damage sustained. Off ways away from where Shusuke and Shoumetsu clashed with one another his friend Hiroka seemed to be having fun on his own contending with Hideaki. The sudden increase in combatants reiatsu spiking so exponentially only had warranted one thing, that they were taken things to a whole new level and released their Shikai. This sudden revelation in the midst of battle only caused Shoumetsu bloodlust to grow intensely eager to see what more his opponent Lt Shusuke had to offer. Cutting his path off like attended he became impressed on how quick the Lt reaction speed was to immediately respond to the attack without hesitation. The blade expecting to carve through flesh and bone alike instead found itself cutting straight through the thick smoke instead destroying the ground where Shusuke had once stood. Continuing to not disappoint him, Shusuke seemed to reform in the smoke in three separate locations surrounding Shoumetsu with each one attempting to deliver a grievous wound onto him. Shusuke had expected for him to try to hastily figure out which one was the real threat and which were only diversions to throw him off.
What attack to respond to? In the mind of any other, this decision would have caused hesitation and detrimental cost for making the wrong decision, but for Shoumetsu the answer never changed since the smoke enveloped them. Little did Lt Shusuke know he made things much easier for Shoumetsu to respond to the moment he separated from his comrade Hiroka to head deeper into the smokey reiatsu. With his presence constantly felt all around them nonstop Shoumetsu shut down all rational thinking with his special technique Musuo, and since the notions of ally or enemy no longer existed to him while he remained in this trance of mind. The reason he struck down Hideaki who moved through the smoke without zero hesitation was plainly simple, anything that moved near him would be cut down without prejudice. He relished in the pleasure of causing suffering to anybody be it friends or not, and Shusuke set the playing field for him to attack anything purely on instinct. So the moment the three Shusuke suddenly appeared around Shoumetsu with his heightened senses detecting the sudden weight of the smoke shifting his body already responded on pure instinct to cut all three of them. In that instance, the muffled sound of steel breaking could be barely heard as Shoumetsu broke his trapped katana in half slashing to clash blades with the one who attacked from the left while using Iaido he unsheathed his kodachi in blinding speed to catch the blade aimed to cut down from above. As he went to go block two of the strikes from two directions at the same time he performed his basic movement technique Kouho Haiho, also known as Circle Walking. His spiritual energy flew through his arms and legs further empowering his actions as he shifted to his right foot and pivoted with a fierce rotation turning what Shusuke intended to be a severe impaling strike to the stomach instead of into a shallow cut to his side.
However, Shoumetsu didn’t stop there with his other senses being dulled by the smoke it strengthened his sense of touch thanks to bakudo active. During the altercation with Shusuke, Hiroka managed to wrap his bout up and planned to flush the Lt out of his own smokescreen. Picking up on the sudden rising sense of heat right away he turned his maneuver to defend against the three away attack straight into a counter-attack by using that built rotation to redirect the path of the attacks from above and to the left to throw him off if either one was the real Shusuke. His movement would finish with his broken katana acting in the fashion of kodachi, and his actual kodachi on the other hand performed a flourish of slashes all around him as he jumped up with a strong amount of force cutting everything around him in the process simultaneously.
Unfortunately, for the Lt in the midst of this fierce battle outside forces were posing a distraction to him that could have easily made things end badly for him. The hell butterfly relaying a division matter of urgency for him, the newcomer also sought to seek him out to take care of business attempting to reach him through blinding and deafening smoke he created. This also raised the question of what would he do now that his former Squadmate Sora fell unconscious and his life became endangered with Hiroka turning the Lt on smoke into a death trap. The once game of cop and robbers in a matter of seconds got completely flipped into something more than Lt Shusuke couldn’t predict the outcome of all because his Captain wasn’t there to entertain her rumbustious friends at her division.

“Whoosh”
“Whoosh”

Michi was speeding up every second she got, zooming past people in the rukongai, squeals of people dropping their fruit, vegetables and their baked goods on the dirty ground, voices of angry shouts from regular people was heard by the young kiyoshi, which caused her look back a couple of times and a sweatdrop fell down her face, as she sighed at commotion she caused. For a moment she stopped with a big cloud of dust kicking up covering people for a second or two. Her body turned to the commoners of the Rukongai and her body bowed at a 90 degree angle in apology of her inconvenience to them.
“Very Sorry”
A quick apology could be heard from her, and at that everything went back to it’s normal busy commotion. Michi used Shunpo once again, she started to jump from high roofs of buildings, which caused dust to kick off from the speed and onto the streets below her. hair dancing to the whistling wind which each step caused the wind to become heavy and condensed that accompanied each step. Despite the way she stepped when using shunpo, the rooftops which she landed and on and propelled from received little to no damage from her actions. Whoever was beneath the roofs could not hear heavy thumps from footsteps, her technique was pretty flawless.Soon enough her journey came to an end. Five steps, that's how many it took to bring her standing in front of the massive Southern gate that was attached to nearly equal size walls that surrounded the seireitei which held the thirteen court guards 1 to 13. This gate was known as Shuwaimon (朱洼門), in english translation, (Red Hollow Gate). to many. The gate was massive, reaching up to halfway to the sky. The gate could intimidate newer souls or brand new Shinigamis who have never been to the south gate before. At the gate stood a giant gatekeeper, the gatekeeper looked scary to Michi due to how much larger and stockier then she was, she gulped and went up to the gate.
Just one look of the giant figure gatekeeper made Michi have a huge gulp of saliva stuck in her throat for a few moments. Her body shook with fear despite this not the first time she’s been through this gate. She still gets intimidated by the sheer size and aura of them. Since the Gatekeeper is standing up, who’s clearly ten times bigger than her, though he was way smaller than the gate itself and the walls attached to the gate, clothing was also a Shinigami uniform, though some modified it to their will to set aside not only this they are also equipped with different weapons that was vastly more larger than an average Zanpakuto, some had Axes for example. It took a few minutes for Michi to take deep breaths to calm herself down, like any other person. Gatekeepers were also like her, also had feelings and were only doing their duty to protect the Seireitei from intruders, criminals at best.
Once she had her nerves under control, elegantly she placed her hands down at the front of her lap, she looked up at the gatesman in a soft smile of hers, eyes locking onto each other. Breeze appeared behind them, causing her hair to flow in the wind while she spoke quite loudly so the gatesman could hear her request to come in the Seireitei. During this request she sensed a familiar pressure to her, to her it felt like her older cousin, her fatherly figure of the family. Shusuke’s pressure, which she turned to the direction where the sixth division was located. A grey to black cloud which was rising up in the sky covering some land. The dark cloud caught her purple eyes. This cloud was not a cloud, but rather smoke. Shusuke’s smoke, that is, coming from nearby her division, the sixth division. She instantly knew this was bad, a feeling rushed to her, a heart dropped feeling and felt like it was her fault for anything that would happen to her own cousin and her own higher seats, Hideki and Sora. Maintaining her worries to a minimum, she turned back round to face the giant figure that guarded the gate heavily.
“I’m Michi Kiyoshi, the sixth seat of the sixth division. Do i have permission to enter the Seireitei please?”

Simultaneous strikes from the Smoking Ghost of the Seireitei appeared to give a certain allure to the tenured member from the Eleventh Division. The everlasting darkness still shrouded all from outside it from view, while also emboldening those who dwelled within it. Forcing them to act with something more primal than just mere thought, a state of mind that would only be accessible through the means of life, and death. It seemed that the blonde Warrior possessed it, unfearful of the black mass of soot around his body, obscuring his eyes and immediate vision. All this power paired with the newfound speed and agility of the Lieutenant seemed to serve him rather well in this bout with many opponents of varying skill levels. His abilities rising with every step he has taken, he not only found that instinct within Shoumetsu Takahiro but he felt it grow within him too as well. Two warriors, swordsmen soldiers of the finest class, the former Adjudicator could see the thirst of battle being born within his eyes. They were savage and devoid of feeling, nothing but focused violence consumes the aura of this man. He didn't flinch at the sign of multiple men of shadowy origin, nor panic and only attack or defend what he could. No, in fact, he pulled out all the stops opting to cleave through all Visages of Shusuke. An impressive maneuver no doubt, one belonging to a slave to an edged weapon with swift rotative movements of minimal gesture with effortless timing and execution. Although, having extra arms certainly helped.
Takahiro was meticulous in his counterattacks, unfortunately, he had failed to see through the combination of strikes used by the dark haired swordsman, what he perceived to be a single rapid movements broken up into three separate attacks, was in actuality a combination of the same maneuver utilizing multiple separate strikes. Originally avoiding all original contact with the blade of the blonde brute, Shusuke had increased the speed of the number of steps taken, moving so rapidly Shoumetsu would only be able to perceive three individual attacks! In between those strikes perceived, while Shoumetsu displayed amazing reaction time and skill with multiple weapons, breaking and prying his blade from the rubble before him to clash first with the left sided Visage, but in the increment of a second after that, Shusuke with his second blade, the wakizashi would have cleaved through the upper rib cage, causing a deep, quick unexpected laceration and allowing the crimson essence to leak from the pale skin of his adversary. Putting a halt to any certain rapid movements, then utilizing his Iaido training, the Eleventh member unsheathed and attempted to halt the attack from behind, looking to separate his cranium from his body. He did however mistime the counter as it was in front of him he should have been watching. The pattern of attack followed from the left, Shusuke then pivoted in between the opening after his second attack upon the ribs. He then rapidly appeared in front of Shoumetsu to cave his chest in with his blade, impaling him closer through the shoulder and putting a final halt in any of his movements. The move was so swift, the shinigami would have a lack of sense of where Shusuke would end up. Vanishing once more with frightful speed, Shusuke would then now be behind him. This was when he heard a familiar chime of bells, but this was no proper distraction. He sailed down from the blackened escape looking to finish his work. As the other blade within the same fraction of a second brought down a wrought of force overhead aided by an accumulation of reiatsu, pushing down onto the shinigami with such uncanny strength from the Kiyoshi Lord. His skill with his sword was evident, his will in battle was persistent. The force alone from the second blade would not only bring Shoumetsu down to a knee, but would break the kodachi he used to defend with from the lack of reinforcement in his defense. Now having two broken weapons, it would be interesting to see how he intended to continue, as the blade continued to sail down in the same swoop to sever one of the mechanical arms he bore upon his body and also cut through the flesh of his right shoulder. Detached, the fake arm would be useless and his real one soon following. The flow of smoke surrounding Takahiro now, surely he had no idea that the Shikai of the Lieutenant was still a mystery. When in actuality, it had already been active for some time.
Hiroka_Explosions.png

Through the thick pitch black scape, an unsettling and alarming amount of kinetic buildup occurred, feeling the smoke shift as he sifted through it during his Assault upon Shoumetsu, he perceived a small flash of light from just beyond multiple layers of the black fog. Rumbling could be felt overhead, and a dread of reiatsu filled the upper atmosphere above where he had just swiftly struck down Takahiro. At the same instance, heat was generated all throughout the yard where they fought, quickly adding to the already immense pressure that existed within the barracks. Wasting little effort and time, using his great step mastery once more, he would have been in-between Shoumetsu and the undying blasts. After slamming all his weight down onto the blonde Shinigami, using that momentum to bring himself closer towards the ground and ever so slightly away from the blasts behind him. Taking his wakizashi now, with the already accumulated reiatsu available to him from his prior attack, took his opposite arm and used his katana to parry away and lunge over the downed Takahiro. With Shusuke now behind Shoumetsu, he avoided any and all brunt of the explosions, as they ensued en masse. He hoped he wouldn't have to utilize this technique so soon, yet another technique to unveil. He purportedly can only use it once as it depletes great amounts of his stamina due to his inexperience but still is a maneuver that is greatly improved upon due to his newfound speed and agility. The chain reaction from the explosion seemed to have been never ending, which left him no choice but to remove himself from the smoke altogether. Leaving only behind the Lieutenants Badge of the Ninth Division. The barrage would only find Shoumetsu himself caught in the wake of its near soundless destruction. The heat-waves acting as a precursor to an already devastatingly brutal attack. Shusuke kept hearing the chime of wings from a certain black entity. Not only did he have to halt all flow of his reiatsu but he began to showcase the true ability of his shikai.
Having such synergy with his Zanpakuto, Shusuke’s own reiatsu and his zanpakuto's act as one, often feeding off of each other's own movements to better assist the other in battle. It was difficult to see where his weapon began and where he ended. With every slash in between his movements and parry’s, It was surely getting close to the end of the battle, the persistence of bells chiming still rung through the Kiyoshi’s ears, upon delivering his final attack and evasion in the combination, the smoke lifted throughout the division, being sucked into his blade. Taking all who had been unfortunate enough to breath in his zanpakuto's reiatsu within it, not killing them but housing them within it until he sees fit to release them. Takahiro, Shinomourin, Yoshima and Ikari in particular would be consumed and taken in by the black vapors. The imagery and light would soon return to the area, sight and sound would return to the space as well. The ground was transformed from freshly tended to grass to multiple burns and craters across the yard. It was a disaster zone.He wondered who had been injured and who had succeeded in survival within the smoking steel cage, Shusuke would rematerialize closer to where he had originally entered the barracks, reasonably far from his prior adversaries. Looking to catch his breath for but a single moment, he would soon be greeted by the black butterfly floating toward him, resting upon the crossguard of his sword, he would bring it up to his face closer to hear the message relayed.
400px-Hell_Butterfly.jpg

Quote:”Former member of the Ninth Division, Jiroshizo Raikyu, is currently being held in our Special Confinement Gaol (特別拘禁牢, Tokubetsu Kōkinrō; Viz "Special Detention Cell"). He was apprehended after crossing through the Senkaimon for vanishing almost one hundred years ago in the Human World. We can not currently contact your Captain so as Vice-Captain this message falls to you. As we await the return of our Captain the prisoner is to remain in our care until we are told otherwise. That is all.”
The black entity then flitters off to parts unknown after completing its objective. Shusuke sighed as he was disappointed that he would have to carry on his work day, He then thought back to wondering who the Shinigami was that was currently being held by Fifth Division. Assuming it might’ve been a Shinigami who was under the old Ninth regime under the previous Captain, Maho Kojima. Not long after, Shusuke would have been approached by another member from the Ninth Division, Uzu Ogawa. Approaching the Lieutenant rather obnoxiously, pushing himself past bodies and knocking others out of the way for a simple word with his superior. It was a sight Shusuke would probably never get used to. As he reached him, hands on his knees gasping for an ounce of air, he finally managed to get out what he had been dying to say.
”Lieutenant! Lieutenant, there’s a lot going on right now, but you need to get to the Western Gate. Check your phone for more details. Captain Yugure is still indisposed, so you’ll have to receive and oversee the incoming parties."
The sudden appearance of Uzu was surely surprising, the young Shinigami had just been enrolled into the Ninth's Barracks recently but the importance of the matter was riddled across his face. His gaze looks out towards the battlefield, the vapors still receding into his zanpakuto, he catches a glimpse of the down Hideaki, the possibly kneeling Shoumetsu and the injured Sora. Including the airborne Ikari, all were being swept into the mysterious abilities of his Shikai. His gaze however focused on Hideaki as they're bodies were broken down into the smoke and finally were retracted and trapped within Shusuke's Zanpakuto. He of course had questions for the Lieutenant, seeing as how Hideaki currently stood as a deserter and thus deemed a fugitive of the Seireitei.
”Th… that guy is a deserter. I thought the other shinigami of Ninth escorted him here to be imprisoned. What’s he doing out? Was he freed?"
Wondering what could have taken place since his escort here, Shusuke looked to the young shinigami blandly as he sheathed his sword. Fully aware of the implications against Hideaki, he arrived at the Sixth Division at the same time as the deserter. Originally visiting the barracks, and no longer an Adjudicator, he had originally left Sora to detain and arrest Hideaki. The battle however shortly thereafter ensued, leaving little time for his detainment. That was however mitigated by the capture of Shinomourin within the very confines of his zanpakuto. He had no intention of leaving the Sixth Division before Hideaki was arrested in proper fashion. He did however find that he himself should have detained him from the beginning, as opposed to starting the game that had finished.
"The situation is under control Uzu. I originally had arrived to teach a class to the Sixth Division when Hideaki arrived, I left it to the 3rd of Sixth, Sora Yoshima to detain him. Though, I admittedly should have detained him myself...he's currently confined within my sword. Along with Yoshima and another individual who had arrived at the battle after the fact.
He's received various injuries so he won't be moving to escape under my watch. I'm going to release them within the holding cells within Sixth and then the other Adjudicators can figure out what his sentence will be. After that, I'll make my way to the West Gate to meet those who are outside it. Jatiri!"

He spoke calmly and slowly so as to properly give an explanation as to what went on before he had arrived. Calling Jatiri who also had seemed to manage to survive the steel cage match, would have surely been around here somewhere. Calling him loud enough to hear from wherever he was in the courtyard. The Kiyoshi would begin making his way to the Detention area, he had expected Jatiri to have followed him after being called, walking alongside him awaiting to also be given orders.
"I have received word that one of our own is in holding at the Fifth Division Barracks. Jiroshizo Raikyu, do you know of him? Doesn't matter, I need you to fetch him from Fifth and bring him back to our barracks and hold him in the Detention cells until the Captain arrives back at the barracks. She'll decide what to do with im'. After which, I need you to meet me at the gate to receive some Shinigami. Do not make me repeat myself. Go. Uzu, you're with me until we arrive at the gate. Stay close, I won't be slowing down."
Their orders were given and the table was set. Slowly unsheathing his zanpakuto as he continued walking, a black mist was released from the small revelation of the blade, soon taking on the form of two men and then finally reaching its final evolutions as Shoumetsu Takahiro and Hiroka Ikari. After being trapped within that space, they’re perception of time would have been warped, feeling as though he spent entire days within his sword; when it was merely only a few minutes. Feeling dehydrated and exhausted from swimming in a black pool of mist altering their perception of reality. They weren't the first to be confined within his sword and would certainly not be the last. Nodding to the two shinigami then finally retreating into the inner cells of the Sixth Division with Uzu Ogawa in tow.
Finally reaching the inner depths of the cells, Shusuke had the guard standing on duty to open one, receiving no denial as his respect still was carried throughout the division with loving admiration. Standing in the middle of the cell, he releases Hideaki in a similar fashion as to how Shoumetsu and Hiroka were freed. Only he would be unconscious from his injuries and from the sensory overload from the confines of his shikai. Re-sheathing his blade and exiting the cells he would once again find himself outside within Sixth, but in a separate Courtyard from where he originally was. Empty, he kept Sora within his blade to deliver him to Fourth to see about his injuries, hoping he would be alright within the black expanse. Looking to Uzu, and the young shinigami meeting his gaze, they both nodded to one another and utilized their flash step to begin their travel to the Western Gate, White Road Gate (白道門, Hakutōmon).

SOUTH GATE
“I’m Michi Kiyoshi, the sixth seat of the sixth division. Do i have permission to enter the Seireitei please?”

The keeper of the Red Hollow Gate (朱洼門, “Shuwaimon”) receives yet another visitor just a few hours later by another one fo the Sixth Division. So she finally speaks after hesitantly sitting meters away from where he stood, trembling in fear at the sight of him. The giant Akuyaku does not move from his position, simply observing the girl as she tries to bravely approach him and ask for permission to return to the inside of those walls. The male could only linger in silence, questioning the number of shinigami coming from the Rukongai, especially those that are not in any relation to that specific division’s jurisdiction. She was not the first, but she would not be the last either to attempt to cross this threshold.
“Do not move.”
It is the first and only thing he says to her before lifting her to his face level by the collar of her shirt and pulling at the short sleeves of her shihakusho top to find the marking in which signifies the garments given by the Sixth Division, much like the inspection that he’d done prior with the deserter. He eventually finds it, and whether or not she’d kept still, he would’ve held her still until he found what he needed. A picture was also sent through the Ninth Division’s database as yet another form of verification. He’d sent the picture directly to the Third Seat of Sixth as well, but his response time was lacking. The members of Ninth Division were in anyone’s business, and holding so many records in their publishing department, they had to keep track of as many people as possible, from captains, lieutenants, and following corresponding seats. Being so highly seated, the information on Michi would come back rather quickly, especially if she’d been involved with the law-abiding division for a while. The matching process had come through, and she was cleared to return to the Seireitei.
“Stand back.”
He was truly a man of few words.
After dropping her back down, Akuyaku turns to face the gate and bends over until his large fingers dig under the dirt and grab a hold of the gate’s edge and begin to lift it, dust falling from the gate’s rim as it was ripped out of the ground. The grinding metal creaked and moaned from being used once more and as it rests upon his shoulders, it gives Michi more than enough room for the girl to enter, and when she does and passes, the gate will drastically descend and the force of the impact will abruptly send her flying forward if she does not hurry and get out of range. Akuyaku can only imagine the amount of activity that his brothers were getting on their ends.
