Wel.l.. most of them seemed to understand the lesson just fine, getting in their groups and practicing as instructed with… questionable results but it was to be expected for most of them since the majority were newer recruits. Sure there were a few more seasoned members among the groups, and they were assisting the other newer recruits to the best of their ability, but not everyone seemed to care for the kido training that Sora had put together. Sora thought it might not be entirely unwarranted, despite having been at this for several decades, he still felt pretty new to the leadership role himself. Even so, he felt the speech served its purpose, just might need to invest a little more time in spicing up the training.
Looking down off his perch atop the front of the dojo at the white haired Shinigami walking up to the front, Sora didn’t think too much of it at first, perhaps couldn’t find a partner, was a fresh recruit, or simply had a question before he really got started. It wasn’t till the white haired man looked up towards Sora that he noticed who it was, and his expression shifted. What was once a gentle smile just moments ago, had now relaxed and shifted to an emotionless, seemingly dead tone almost instantly. Sora and this white haired man with an eyepatch had history, brief history, but not exactly pleasant history.
He could hear the eyepatched shinigami muttering something as he approached, but with the rest of the members in the training grounds, it made it difficult to hear his words exactly from this distance. Turning to look back at the crowd of training recruits, Sora spoke loud enough for not just the approaching shinigami to hear clearly, but the rest of everyone in the training grounds as well, half hoping it might distract one of the trainees.
”What seems to be the problem Ero, my Kido lessons not-- HEY! FOCUS TSUKIKO!-- not doing it for yah? Or are you trying to skip out?”
Presumably Tsukiko: ”S-sorry sir!”
Though extending his focus towards Ero, save for Tsukiko getting distracted by Sora’s sudden change in volume for a second, Sora kept his eyes focused on those who continued their training, almost hoping they needed more help to pull him out of the conversation he had just triggered. Or perhaps it was Ero who needed the help to begin with, now that would be interesting.

Northeast Seireitei———————————— traveling to ———————————— Southwest Seireitei
Dark clouds, bleak vapors, ominous winds…
He loved this method of travel. It was like floating along the water's surface in his wading pond in his family estate back in the Rukongai. He used to spend most of his free time as a youth in that pond, playing with and trying to catch the joints that dwelled in its waters. White in color, they were truly rare fish that his father admired, which he grew to love well. His reiryoku filled the atmosphere, the dark smoke would file in a large but thin layer of vapor. Once he entered an eye shot of the immediate entrance of the Sixth' Divisions barracks he would re-materialize his body into its solid form, starting from his feet, ending at his scalp. He still held the cigar in his mouth, now nearly down to the butt, he walked as he re-materialized right before the sentries stationed at the entrance. They'd seen this before but not within the same One Hundred Years. Shusuke Kiyoshi had gone back to his home division.
The barracks had remained unchanged in his purview, the cherry blossoms had stayed tended to like he had discussed with the groundsman. It was a rather stern conversation although it would be from a former member, Shusuke Kiyoshi still held a phenomenal reputation among most of his peers.
"Lieutenant Kiyoshi! What a surprise no one told us you were coming! What brings you by?"
He pauses before passing by them completely, taking some time to finish his cigar before entering the compound. He wanted to have the air of responsibility that should befit that of a Shinigami of his rank. Taking the final drag, giving a final harsh tingle at the back of his throat before his calm exhale towards his former division mates. He looked back at them with calm purple hues, and a grin that could cut tension in even the darkest of places.
"Someone informs you of my arrival now…? Not sure if I'll get used to that. I just came by to speak with Sora, where can I find him?"
"He’s in the yard teaching kido to the squad. Got a mess of 'em out there too, almost like you a century back.”

He paused before answering. A century. It's been a seamless transition into his new duties within the Ninth Division, much of the same freedom but with actual consequences of failure should he not aim for exceedingly plentiful results. He, among his other Lieutenant peers, had a demanding Captain. A seemingly amicable issue should the proper parameters be met and a level of understanding is had of both individuals, along with a broad level of respect of one another are keys to a great partnership. In Shusuke’s case, it's his capabilities as a “babysitter” that help keep the overactive imagination of his superior on even and the adolescent minds of his subordinates in check. He simply chuckled to this thought, be it the herbs he inhaled prior or the joke itself it was truly laughable of how he was promoted to be reduced. He loved it however, and enjoyed the Ninth’s youthful exuberance. Keeping him creative and excited to try new things, the change wasn’t so bad at all.
"Hahahahaha…..Yeah. Something like that. I’ll catch up with you guys later. I’ll still need a drink from the mess hall.”
Walking past them, patting one on the shoulder as he passed, he quickly proceeded as if he was still active in the barracks. knowing all the shortcuts, and small hallways that helped him navigate moving from one end of the Division to the other, whether it was having to leave or enter. Purposely taking the long way around to say if anything had changed, it hadn’t. For some reason that made him happy, this was one of the divisions that didn't necessarily need to stand out in his eyes. Its blandness added to the reputation, as the old saying goes, ”what you see is what you get”. Finally breaking into the courtyard, the cherry blossoms littered the sekiseki walls and swayed in the breeze as the sun gleamed down into the yard. Many shinigami were in groups practicing to hone their inner skills, some triumphed, others simply needed further study. Needless to say it was a sight that he welcomed, a new generation of adjudicators, esquires, and Bengoshi.
He quickly found one of his own not so new recruits from a century back, now grown into his new role as the new Third of Sixth, the air about him was more confident and certain. It was familiar, as if he had almost looked into a mirror. As he stepped onto the grass it didn't take long for others to take notice of his arrival, while some senior members knew who he was, the recruits were playing pick up as to why everyone had suddenly stopped practicing their reiatsu training. Paying them no mind at all, walking past the lot of them heading straight for Sora leaving a sea of silence in his wake. It would be deafening, he would’ve noticed before Shusuke had even reached but all the same, his long strides allowed him quick paced movement to face his friend.
"Hey Sora, I hope you dont take it this easy on them all the time. I know I used to come down a little harder on you all than this.”
He said jokingly. He was really happy to see him in his adjusted role. The transition was so sudden he had little time to educate him on some matters, but keeping an eye from a distance, he heard of his exploits and figured that the dark-haired Bengoshi would be fine with a little trial by fire. He noticed a white haired individual near him and gave him a small nod of respect, but otherwise directed his entire focus and attention on Sora.

Though most of Sora’s attention was on the approaching Ero who was walking past the fellow 6th members to come speak with Sora, he still made sure to keep one eye on those who were supposedly taking their training seriously, it came off as almost distracting when more than just the aforementioned Tsukiko grew distracted by a sudden incoming member from another squad came into the grounds. At first Sora was gonna show them why they need to focus and lay into those who made themselves such easy targets, but it wasn’t till he came to realize that while some of the 6th division members were just as confused as Sora as to why a single member from another division would cause the grounds to break into chaos, there were several others that knew this person well. It was hard to get a look at the guy who had perhaps intentionally disrupted the day's training, what with all the crowding members who recognized their guest shifting around, making it difficult to get a solid view of the person's face. That was until he heard their voice.
"Hey Sora, I hope you don't take it this easy on them all the time. I know I used to come down a little harder on you all than this.”
Immediately shifting his demeanor from confusion to that of excitement, for a few seconds Sora himself had seemed to forget about the training as well, hoping down from his perch atop the dojo roof to meet even ground with his former comrade and leader.
”Shusuke! Long time no see! How has 9th been treating you since you became Yasu’s Lieutenant?”
Even as he was speaking Sora had realized he hadn’t even registered Shusuke’s comment until about the end of his sentence, only hearing the voice and losing train of thought with not having seen his pal for so long. Just before he could turn around and explain that what Shusuke was looking at was more a warm-up than anything else, he was interrupted by a vibration in his Shihakushō’s inner pocket. Pulling out his Denreishinki X just to make sure it wasn’t anything important, seeing an attachment to the message, Sora quickly opened it to see the picture of a man that looked strangely familiar.
Code:
“This one says that he belongs to Sixth.
Are you familiar with him?
I have no recollection of his person, but maybe you do.”
Sora wasn’t 100%, the man in the picture had much longer hair and far more tattoos than the man he had remembered from 100 years ago, but the facial structure matched..
Code:
"He looks familiar, but ask him his name, if he says "Hideaki" then let him on through.
He's got 100 years worth of explaining to do if that's him."
Rather than closing the Denreishiniki X after sending the message, he then opted to show the picture to the former 3rd seat of 6th division, hoping that Shusuke might be able to tell better if it really was Hideaki or not.
”Sorry to cut the small talk short, but if this is who I think it is, pretty strong coincidence that you both show up to 6th division today. Shall we go greet our old friend?

Northeast Seireitei → Southwest SeireiteiJatiri took shape. There were beautiful Cherry blossoms and Sixth shinigami near him, but what of Lieutenant Shusuke? As Jatiri's eyes wandered, that of those of the Sixth did the same. Those aware of him gave one another puzzled looks.
"Pleasure to meet you all. I'm Jatiri, a friend of a friend."
With that, he snuck away, ceased to be. An additional flash step brought him to the lieutenant.
From what Jatiri could tell, the Sixth shinigami deeply respected Shusuke, who had been their superior a hundred years ago. In those days, he'd proved to be a bright detective who had been passionate about the law. He still had that passion, Jatiri believed. And although Shusuke had transferred divisions, acquiring a higher rank and different, probably greater responsibilities than before, he still made time to visit his old squadmates, which Jatiri believed was admirable.
"Hey Sora, I hope you dont take it this easy on them all the time. I know I used to come down a little harder on you all than this.”
"Shusuke! Long time no see! How has 9th been treating you since you became Yasu’s Lieutenant?”

Observing as Shusuke and Sora greeted each other, Jatiri thought of his old Ninth comrades. As he did so, some part of him tried desperately to shut them out, but he couldn't ignore the feelings built up inside. His eyes fell to the ground.
It was a hundred years later, and still, the wound he sustained from having lost his comrades didn't heal. However, Jatiri had, in more recent years, learned to better cope with the pain he felt. Meditation was a practice he'd indulged in more often, which helped to relieve stress. He either practiced moving meditations or meditations done sitting still. If he ever felt down thinking about anything, he would somewhat find peace while in a meditative state.
His eyes rose again, and he attempted to smile at Shusuke and Sora.
"Sorry to cut the small talk short, but if this is who I think it is, pretty strong coincidence that you both show up to 6th division today. Shall we go greet our old friend?"
Before Shusuke could respond to Sora, Jatiri stepped in and inserted himself.
"Hello," he said to Sora; "Hello lieutenant," to Shusuke.
"Mind if I join you guys?"

Rukongai – Southwest Sereitei
Looking almost like an unidentified object, flying through the sky and toward 9th division almost at the speed of a bullet from the force that this Akuyaku of the Southern Gate had flung Hideaki. Hideaki allowed the giant to pick him up from his waist, as he had no top for the giant to pick him up from. After having his identity verified, he was flung toward the 9th division. However, Hideaki was not about to crash land, ungracefully. Instead as he flew in mid-air, Hideaki pulled in the air around his arms, and then released it out in front of him, pushing back against the gust of air, and thus slowing down his descent. Pulling his legs together and bracing for a landing.
Moments before landing, Hideaki releases a gust of wind towards the ground, having the wind bounce off the ground a second before he lands. Thus cushioning the landing for his feet. Landing perfectly on his feet whilst his left knee is bent back slightly and his right leg bent forward. Though a lot of the patrols were laughing, they were starring at Hideaki's landing with a bit of awe. Brushing a little bit of the dust off which had picked up from said landing. Hideaki bowed his head lightly toward the 9th Division Shinigami which came to escort him to the 6th Division. A lot of people thought Hideaki was a slob, due to the fact he was barefoot, hakama torn apart and topless. The only thing that seemed to have been looked after was Hideaki's zanpakutou. The beautiful blade and still looked magnificent. The sheathed blade remained within Hide's left hand the entire time from when he left the cave, to when he was flung and even during Hideaki's landing.
After several minutes, the 9th Division Shinigami and Hideaki appear to close to what is starting to look very familiar and feel like home, the 6th Division and in the near distance, Hideaki sees two very familiar faces waiting for him. Shusuke Kiyoshi and Sora Yoshima, the third face close to Shusuke was not a familiar one. As Hideaki walked, he paid closer attention to Shusuke, it had seemed that the man had been wearing an armband of the 9th division, 'So he got promoted in these last 100 years..' Hideaki thought that in his head.
