“Hm...Well then. Visitors emerge.”
He lied in wait and observed the scene before him. The Lieutenant of the second Division attempted to apprehend the arrogant Kuchiki to be led straight into a raunchy over-political arrest. A large barrier presumably created by the Commander of the Kido Corps immediately shot up and Shusuke knew just by looking at it that there was no way he was going to get inside. Not the largest thing on his mind however, he knew that so long as a Captain was present along with the mysterious item that was brought along with the Corp members, nothing shady would be able to go down and no intense harm could be had inside to anyone. It was the presence of the second Division that made him ponder further. Without moving from his perch or position, he spotted and felt out the signatures of several members of the Onmitsukido move in towards the out limits of the barrier set up by the Kido Corps, continuing his silent watch. What was he waiting for exactly? A reaction? A notice that there was malicious intent? Their Lieutenant got captured, but Shusuke soon would figure she would wiggle her way out of her bonds and carry out her antics, Yasu was good for that he knew. But he also knew she wouldn’t make a claim like that with nothing to back it up, and he was interested to know what was going on with that lead. But more importantly…
After recent events, Kyomu Mukuro, Captain of Division two had made a fool hardy attempt on the life of the Captain-Commander, only to be put down by his great might in one swing of his blade, or so he had heard. To make a bold move against the most powerful man inside the Seireitei and potentially the greatest Military power within the Society itself…he was shocked to have heard such chaos unfold within their home. The underlings of the Onmitsukido and the 2nd squad infiltrated Division 1 in the same manner that they were doing right now and with an artifact being the potential target of interest. Blankly, his purple hues continued to stare. Until he decided that he had a right to know what was going on. Leaping down from his perch, swiftly but gently landing on the ground like a leaf on fresh cut grass. The wind was agreeable today, he took one step and was then immediately overcome with a shock wave of Reiatsu blasting in from the direction of the Central Seireitei! He stood his ground enough but was taken aback but how deep out they were and it reached them as if they were next door. Only thing that could’ve matched that was…the attempt of the Head-Captain’s life! Shusuke gritted his teeth, overcome with bewilderment, puzzled with options. He could see to the blast towards central but he had a duty to his squad first and whatever happened there could be taken care of by the members of the First Division, and their leader. He focused his sights on the first member of the Onmitsukido he saw once he regained control of his body from the blast.
Pulling up no shorter than 2 meters from the member, standing just before a large fissure, closing any possible exit routes they may take in an attempt to escape, he stood with his arms loose by his side but ready and willing if it came down to a potential physical altercation. Hopefully his former status within the Maggots Nest will have been remembered and will have enough respect from the current generation
"Hey, you. Stay right where you are. Shusuke Kiyoshi, 4th Seat of Division 6, I'm a former member of Division 2 and worked closely within the Maggots Nest. I need you to clarify to me what exactly is taking place inside my barracks? My superior is within the confines of a high level Bakudo spell, along with a Captain and a “captured” Lieutenant from your Division. Then you politely show up in convenience. Wanna explain?" He asked bluntly.
He didn’t have time for idiotic answers either. He wanted to know the exact details of them being inside of the barracks. He was sure another coup wasn’t taking place, but he knew something wasn’t right in the air either. He knew he may have to draw his blade before the day was through, but he hoped he wouldn’t have to call upon its name…

The pieces of the board have been moving since the pot has arrived behind the walls of the nobles. Maybe even long before, as the pieces moved. Allowing them to see what he wanted, hear what they were allowed to hear. There were a lot of meddlesome children today, and they been left to their own devices for a bit of fun. Allowing those to do as they please, everything is placed, while the dignitary focus on those unwanted guests it was brought to his attention that one happens to make things interesting. The first phase has been completed, and the second phase already started it once the barrier manifested around the entire Kuchiki manor. A set of protection to keep everything out from ever getting in, despite the barrier, there were multiple discreet ways to enter and exit the Manor grounds. Only those that are familiar with the grounds would have access to such information.
Now, Shirogane has given both Arashi and Tenzen a chance to share their thoughts. Not that he cares of their thoughts, but getting them to share would open many doors to their minds, to their secrets. It is incredible what a person could find out by watching and listening. Speaking or not did matter, but one's actions, body language tell even the most well-hidden messages one tries to hide. Soon the entire environment, possibly the Seireitei had been bombarded with such strong force that took Shirogane by slight surprised as to who was releasing such...............After getting a hint of this sensation of this spiritual signature. It was none other than Lt of Squad 11. It was almost completely unrecognizable, and he has gotten stronger. Such memories was instill from that fateful day when the Kototsu attacked the Soul Society. But even then, Shirogane eyes would have never met with Captain Oda, the reason being that his eyes remain closed. Not looking him in the eyes, not to hide his intentions, to conjure poison from his lips. Just him honing in on the area during this distraction to get a good idea of what was happening around division 6, as well as the manor itself. There were plenty of things he came to witness and became aware of but shown no slight of worrisome physically or mentally.
Tenzen, on the other hand, could be "seen" on top of the barrier he devises for protection but not for the unwanted guest that himself and Arashi are aware since they do not bare the gift. But from Shirogane, himself. Those piercing brown eyes were on him, unwavering, filled with intentions that were ready for him to take action. Thinking this disturbance was some ruse from Shirogane end. He eased up by leaping away from the barrier, but one thing the Headclansman noticed that the barrier was never removed. Captain Tenzen paranoia that he was trying to hide since the beginning of their meet had finally surfaced. The same overcaution attitude that kept him quiet prevented him from speaking because of one being that interrupted. That small disruption planted a seed within Tenzen's mind. No. It fed him an attitude he had since arrival, and she made him more on his toes.

It was at that moment that Shirogane began to realize nothing he could say or do to ease his thoughts. Captain Tenzen comes off as a strong-willed and strong-minded individual, and his spirit could never be swayed. Just whats to be expected of a Gotei 13 Captain, they would accept no less. They wouldn't allow weak-minded people to lead an entire division. They did allow someone to bully their way into the Head position that oversees the divisions out of fear. But trying to pick the brain of Captain Tenzen, the iron patriot of the Gotei 13. Arashi was still on the table, but with Captain Oda present, he wouldn't be easily swayed either. Both future contenders that could help change the order of the Gotei. To help expunge this place from the thugs, the criminals that pretend. A matter for a different time to help understand either of these two shinigami. One day the truth shall not be ignored any longer; it shall come to light in due time. Though the efforts to shake him were useless, Tenzen will come to realize the moment he brought the pot; there is nothing he can do to prevent whats from coming. His actions to preserve what he can do to prevent anyone from misusing the pot or taking advantage of its power would be ineffectual and impractical — all the same for the unwanted visitors snoopy about his manor; the fun was over.
Everything was in place, lying in wait, at least for the moment it was now about time. Shirogane eyes would open to face Captain Tenzen, who may seem to ease up a little but remain guarded — trying to find what was underneath this mask of Shirogane. The funny thing about masks is that everyone wears masks daily. They are one person at home, another in the workplace, and yet another around a community and friends. With all the masks, do anyone eventually lose sight of the original person they are- the person behind the mask? That is a question not many could answer, so it begs the question if Shirogane wears a mask?
9883f2ce7bad13c5ecf4020f4c7c2dee.png

"Let's continue on" Shirogane eyes would open as he spoken those words to Tenzen.
He did not want anything else right now, or at least nothing that didn't prove to be relevant at the moment. All that matters was dealing with the pot, the next stage to where Tenzen would have to activate it. "Captain, I get that you wish to protect the pot. But we cannot move forward with disposing of the pot if you do not activate the contents. However, in case you aren't aware of the evil that rots inside of that pot. It is safe as long the lid remains closed. But once you activate that pot, be ready and aware of anything that may happen. From here on out, as well as Arashi, to watch yourselves. Though I will need you and Arashi to assist and keeping them contain much as possible after activation until they are destroyed."
Shirogane elaborated more on the steps need to perform the ritual, though it seems as though it was reaching the boiling point of the operation. It was now up to Captain Tenzen to activate it, which was the sole reason, his sole purpose for being here. His skills in kido to activate this pot that only a chief of the kido corps could handle. However, the request for the barrier around the manor was for this exact moment. To keep the very evil from escaping or any other unnatural phenomenon in check also. For now, he would ignore the pest as everything else but one move could result in something very awful.

Similar in regards to releasing their inner thoughts, Captain Oda had nothing to say as well. Likely ready to proceed, having been confide to this room for quite some time now. Perhaps this feeling only channels to Ashi, it felt like an eternity. Despite his attempt to make light of the situation, it did nothing for him. The blood through his veins moved in such a way to increase the beating of his heart... He has never felt something like this. The feeling he carries now, transcends the emotions he felt against Sword Eater. However, his expression remained like steel, stainless, and at best polished to keep his true feelings from being revealed.
Still, the tension builds, but just for a moment it breaks. A massive quake, a strong spiritual pressure ravaging the atmosphere around them! Thanks to the Lieutenant of Squad 11. His increase in spiritual power is easily noticed by Ashi, since it surely caught him off guard causing him to turn his head and glance even through nearly closed eye-lids. Captain Oda acted swiftly, protecting the pot with his own usage of kido. A bakudo Ashi recognized well but along with this observation, even the Captain seemed to be under a lot of pressure. His position here, made his role as meaningless as the life of an ant. Then again, knowing that he wasn't the only one, it surprisingly eased some of the tension building in his chest and gut.
Though not much...
His mind traveled to the well-being of Lieutenant Yugure, hoping that she fairs well, where ever she is. She, honestly should not be here. Her role here is exactly non-existent. Out of care and concern, he hoped that someone would come to bail her out, but it seemed that will be after this pot is dealt with and in fact, Captain Oda began to speak upon dealing with whatever is going on in Central after this handled. Ashi couldn't agree more, as a nod will suffice enough from him. Shirogane speaks again, furthering pushing towards beginning this operation. He attempts to encourage Ashi and Captain Oda to be on guard, as if that isn't apparent already. His senses and awareness are sharper than ever at this very moment... So his eyes stares on, directly towards the pot. Having no idea what or even who may be lurking inside of it.
"Lets begin then..."

Inhale, exhale, inhale, and exhale, the Oda would do this for a few seconds to ease his rattling nerves, to still his jumpiness. For a man who is trying to play his cards close, he just let one of those cards slip out and fall face up on the table for all to see. Yes, everyone there was quite nervous perhaps not the closed eye Kuchiki but everyone else had their own way of expressing or dealing with it. Tenzen's swift protection over the Aku Hachi Hakkō and his glare filled with killing intent revealed not only his unease but his hostility towards the nobleman. Nerves calmed and his jumpiness settled he is ready to do what he came there to do.
"Let's continue on."
His gaze returns to the Kuchiki the sole person who didn't react to the burst of energy originating from the Central Seireitei, he's got nerves of steel or perhaps he knows how to focus his priorities? Normally Tenzen is the same way, his sense of calm and focus can carry him through most situations. During his test with Captain Kagayaki, he kept his focus and calm mentally he knew he was in trouble but his level head kept him from overreacting, unlike right now. This entire situation has put Tenzen off his game, mentally, and it's apparent not only to those around him but to himself as well. Seeing how unflinching the Kuchiki acted reminded him of how he built himself up and in this situation, he needs that train of thought back.
CLAP!

e0d9908a4c34cd30cdf3dc5a6d14e428.png

A fraction of a second after the Kuchiki stopped speaking Tenzen claps his hands together and closes his eyes, one would think he was about to begin the unsealing of the Aku Hachi Hakkō right then and there. Not quite, this was a physical action to trigger a sort of mental reset for the Oda. After observing Kuchiki he knew he needed to enter a similar state of mind, his normal state of mind so to speak, one unclouded of paranoia and anxiety. He opens his eyes to look upon the nobleman, hands remaining clasped together.
"I am well aware of what the pot contains and what must be done to prevent the spreading of its evil power. Now, let us begin."
The mental reset seemed to have had some effect, his previous feelings were pushed down giving his mind room to truly reach a state of calm. Until this event is over, however, Tenzen won't truly be calm as he wants to be. He turns his back to the nobleman and lowers his arms, as they are lowered so too does the Kido placed around the Vessel lower in turn. He approaches it, his eyes falling upon each one of the five seals that keep lid shut. The time has come, he inhales deeply and releases a lengthy exhale raising his arms into the air as the final bit of air leaves his lungs. With arms raised his Reiatsu begins to seep out, it is controlled hugging close to its point of origin so that it may not affect those around it. His hands reach higher into the air, clasp themselves together, they are then lowered in unison and stop at Tenzen's chest. His eyes focus on the center of the wooden lid, they close slowly as if he were slipping into slumber for the night. Incoherent mumbling begins to leave his lips, only those apart of the Kido Corps would understand what he was murmuring at this moment. Those focusing on his mumbling would have their attention snatched away by the five seals starting to glow on the Vessel.
The first seal releases itself, curling back from the lid like a sticker lifting from its hold when exposed to heat and warming the adhesive that holds it down. The curling continues until its hold on the lid is no more clinging only to the body of the Vessel itself. The mumbling continues, perhaps each seal had its own unique incantation, the validity of this would remain unclear as the second seal begins to peel back from the lid. To those watching it may seem like time itself is standing still, to know that such a dangerous item is being unraveled before them may have that effect. The second seal is lifted and the third begins its release, though it is hard to see through the hoods of the Kido Corps members within the room looking at their eyes alone can show their sense of unease regardless of how idle they are at the moment. The third seal lifts and the fourth starts. Anxiety turns to excitement, like waiting in line for hours to get the latest communication device and you've finally made it towards the front of the line with the checkout desk finally in view. Those within the room could feel this excitement, though it is not such a lighthearted and happy sense of excitement it is more so the sense of wanting this to be done and over with. The fourth finishes and the fifth and final seal begins its uncurling.
Hurry up!
Open it already!
Please! Let's get this over with!

These are the thoughts of the Kido Corps members in the room right now. That excitement that was mentioned? It is turning into panic and such a mentality is how things get rushed and botched. Their mask not only hides their identity but also the nervous sweat that has been building since the Chief began undoing the seals. Their hands are hidden behind their backs, gripping their opposite hand with sweaty palms, the seasoned Shinigami in the room, Tenzen, Shirogane, and Arashi could easily sense their unease. The fifth seal releases, Tenzen's eyes open his pupils still fixed upon the center of the lid before him.
"Steel yourselves! Focus and find a path through the fear, a goal beyond it."
Hearing their Chief call out to them, asking them- no, telling them to not only steel themselves but to look past the fear and to a goal that lay beyond its boundaries. Shinigami aren't all business all the time, same can be said for the secretive members of the Kido Corps. Some look past the fear towards time spent with friends, some look to family, and some are more simple looking towards the next day. This settles them a bit, enough so that rational thought can regain the reigns over their mind. Tenzen lifts his head and glances back to Shirogane Kuchiki.
"Are you ready?"

The bodies that lie around him sat in wait on his order. From what their escaped lieutenant sent, she was fine. A few signals rushed around as the messages passed around on the status of their lieutenant. She’d escaped the clutches of the Nobles but still did not come to them directly. That only meant that she still had work to do so that they would keep a watchful eye from above.
However…
A heavy sigh escaped, and he did nothing but turn to look at the new entity from the corner of his eye. In his presence was none other than the Sixth Division’s fourth seat, Shusuke Kiyoshi, a member of the lesser nobles. Their lieutenant had a former friendship with this man, but now he stood here acting as if he had a say in knowing of the events at hand.
Even if he was a former officer of the Maggot’s Nest, what did that have anything to do with the situation at hand? This was between the Kuchiki and the Second Division's lieutenant. The Fifth Division just had to come in as a second party, despite having prior orders from the Head Captain and such else.
“The events of today have little to do with you. Your former standing means nothing, and I would rather die. It is in my fate to, and should it be today, then so be it. There are plenty that will take my place.”
His tone was unwavering. If he died today, then that would be it. He’d serve his duty lawfully under the code of the Onmitsukido, and beneath his commander’s hand. Even if he were a former member of the Second Division, then he would understand the functions as a member of such a secret organization.
There’d be no telling of his time outside of the division and whether or not he may have been compromised in his absence. However, had Shusuke found the use of his former standing and another member had cracked beneath the pressure, Captain Mukuro would’ve had their heads within seconds.
For now, they could only wait.
