"TAP......TAP.......TAP.......TAP."
The soft sound one finger makes against the armrest of the iron chair that this cloaked individual sat. The room further from his view was cast by darkness from one corner to the next, wall to wall. There are only two sources of light, which are two lit torches, as this brilliant orange-red colored body remains ignited on either side of the throne a couple feet. It was only enough to shine brightly around the chair but not the entire room, and this cloaked individual features remain concealed from the shadow of the hood. Only the chin and lips were visible at this time. Not a single soul could locate him through spiritual means, and he didn't even exist at this time. An apparition of sorts that haunts the manor itself, sitting in this room among the tallest part of the mansion. That ascends from the current position where all three individuals were currently, Shirogane Kuchiki, Tenzen Oda, Arashi Suta. To get here would be taking the path beyond their area, a series of steps that lead to various other buildings, surrounded by cherry blossom trees. The premises itself is where royalty of the highest-ranking member of the clan lays and conduct official business.
Shirogane had lead the individuals that are to partake into this procedure that is too take place. They are soon to begin, and the manor would be encased and protected under the barrier, due to the actions of division 5. Oh, how treacherous it would be if Division 5 were to get somehow blamed for approving such a dangerous artifact to be unleashed if things go wrong? How much of the blame would befall him? A newly appointed Captain that suddenly already given a most puzzling job on the first day, surely this would raise some eyebrows, wouldn't it?
Nevertheless, she escaped, just the type of action he expected from the Onmitsukidō division. Managing to take out the guards but without a cost and remain hidden from the guard's eye. Oh, she was nothing short of cleverness in her skills where she managed to slip on a pair of clothing for disguised to get around. An actual showing off what the stealth force is all about, and yet the shackles still hinders her. He could hear the sound of those shackles waving, echoing through the halls, all the way from his perch. He could see the little mouse cowering in a room to conceal herself. She was well-deserving of the title, Lieutenant. How unfortunate for her that she has to be inside of division 6, inside of the House of Kuchiki? Sadly, with focus, he could see without seeing, hear the way them joints move. He could smell the uneasy feeling from those that question the ruler of this house, like blood to a predator. Only he didn't bathe in this scent, but instead, the individual had been pleased. Because they should feel uneasy but not from Shirogane, there are other things they should be uneasy about, other matters that no one has thought of in the back of their minds. That should be what they focus be on, but there is only one way to rid that feeling, to set everyone on the correct path.
The door opened where he could see the darkness of the hallway, where one masked individual enter the room — kneeling before the person on the throne. He didn't speak a word; at least the cloaked man didn't allow them too, for he raised a hand and placed it back down onto the armrest. He wasn't allowing him to share a word at all.
"Section 3, row 4, cell 4. Hand our esteem guest some food. They'll be down there for a while. Also, be sure the gate is prepared for my arrival soon."
His voice was calm as always, tone never changing when he spoke. The masked individual stood up and quickly left the room as the doors magically closed by itself. Once shut, it left a loud booming sound that echoed inside of this area. The Lt placed herself inside of a cell, which was where she was going initially. Had it not been the "gift," finding her would be more trouble and challenging, his guards probably would spend the entire day trying to find her or any other skilled soul reaper of the Gotei 13. That was one less nuisance to worry about for the time being.
In the meantime, Shirogane had been in a room that resembles a dojo, and the room was reasonably large with pristine marble wood floor. There were several wooden pillars on the outer hall of the room with unlit torches attached to each beam, where the ceiling was lower than the center of the room, where the ceiling was much higher. At the very end of the room to the right was a shrine with some old man face in a picture frame, he also had kenseikan in his hair. He hoped Arashi would honor his request without causing any trouble; after all, he was a guest in his home. This particular room was very sacred. Hence the shrine, even Shirogane, removed his shoes before stepping onto the wooden floor, leaving his shoes on the padded part of the floor that surrounds the wood tiles of the room.
While everyone decides to get settled in, allowing those who carry the pot to find a spot to set it. Shirogane walked up to the shrine kneeling as Captain Oda speaks. "Set up a perimeter around the manor and cast a barrier. No one gets in or out without my order; those of you remaining your orders still stand. Now, Kuchiki-san, shall we proceed?"
It didn't take long for Shirogane to pay respects to the shrine just a moment before he would have stood up from his position. Eyes still closed while getting a "sense" of the room, and he could feel that neither Arashi or Captain is comfortable, but it wasn't because of a tranquil environment that was to house this operation. It was because of many questions that are across their mind; he could sense their edginess, their emotions were still trying to solve this mystery behind Shirogane, ruler of this house. As the Head of this house, it was on him to set the mood from this point forward. He would have stood before both Arashi, and the Captain with both eyes closed shut.
"I am willing to give you both a chance to share your thoughts right now. I can assure you, no amount of words would place either of you in danger. But surely both of you have something on your mind, correct? This would be the time to ask anything before we proceed. Because once we start, you won't ever have the opportunity to speak to me freely again once this is done, if we are still alive after all this. Furthermore, I want this to be clear by no means we this makes us close or even friends. I wouldn't sully myself to associate with ill-manner individuals or one who doesn't speak proper English. I am merely allowing you both to speak freely while we proceed. I assume you can talk and do your job at once?"
Shirogane stated that while he would allow Tenzen and Arashi to speak their minds while he awaited for Tenzen to get his men to prep the pot and began this ritual. Since it was division 5 jobs to prepare the activate the festering pot of evil. In the background, surrounding the room would be filled with royal guards dressed in purple ninja-like outfits, standing quietly. Two guards would be outside of the room, guarding the entrance, not that they need it since the manor would soon be encased by a barrier, curiosity of division 5. So no wanted and unwanted individuals would be able to get in and unable to get out if there was one inside. However, what purpose does Shirogane have to share "thoughts" with both guests? What reasoning did he have? Were there answers he was looking to pry from them?
It is simple. Shirogane was to gain the favor of Arashi to show him the correct path of justice. To uphold their duties, according to reports, Arashi is a very sensible individual. However, to know for sure, he needs precise answers to determine if Arashi was to be a great asset to the future or another problem that needs to be removed. Captain Tenzen, on the other hand, was a mystery, for he knows every little of which can prove to be troublesome if he doesn't pick his brain a little to see what side of justice Tenzen genuinely stands with. Could he possibly be a man he could sway to the right path? To help him further his plan for the future, that is soon to come if things go accordingly? This is why he must appeal to his emotions, after all, earlier they said nothing regarding "claims" they didn't deny or say otherwise. But remain silent because it shows they were contemplating on the fact that there is uncertainty in their minds. Depending on what their answer would be and what they were open to sharing. Only then would Shirogane open up to them if they deemed worthy enough to be shown what was on Shirogane's mind. However, the awareness of their beings from inside and out could be determined whether they were looking to hold back or lie, so hopefully, when they answer, they answer genuinely.
During this whole time, the masked guards that serve the Head finally made their way down into the basement. Given the instructions from the man upstairs, there was several of them posted in the hallway while one carried a tray of food. They would have gone to this one cell that was already closed, but the guidance they received the prisoner in question ought to be inside here. They did notice five of their comrades beaten down, she had to be responsible, but no one asked anything. No one didn't bother to ask why come to a place that would prevent her escape? Not a single guard questioned this but only followed what the ruler had ordered them too. Maybe the cloaked individual doesn't know either, but with division 2, you could never tell what they genuinely plan, which makes them dangerous and yet unpredictable individuals. A great asset to have but a threat nonetheless.
