“ Huh? Oh.”
She questions before suddenly recalling her meeting. It had only been a few minutes, at the very most a half hour since its conclusion and yet, the memory of it had already faded from her mind. How absentminded his Lieutenant was…
“Yeeeah, I got told off. Said that if I followed directions like they SAID then more lives woulda’ been saved but that’s a bunch a’ crap.”
“I mean… it’s not entirely untr-”
“Oh n’ I broke the table too…guess I got a lil’ mad.”
“You broke Head Lieutenant Oki’s table?!”

… Yu exclaims, panic clearly set in his tone.
“ So, this is Kurochi. Like the cats.”
… Omoni offers as a response to his distress, unintentionally deflecting as always does. ‘Why are you like this... ‘ he thinks as he winces at the quick approach of a headache. Lieutenant Oki would most likely drop the incident from her mind but... sooner or later, someone would have to find fault with her actions and react in turn. And if they were unable to squeeze an appropriate response out of her, (which virtually all would find impossible) eventually it would always find its way back down to her Captain. Her brief introduction to Emi would find itself lost in his own perception, now occupied with his own anxieties at the mere thought of Omoni’s future outbursts. Junko’s surprise at her superior’s sudden entrance is as well unperceivable, his attention now robbed towards the incoming reiryoku signature that had entered the hospital now.
Just the man he needed to see.
“Omoni! Where are ya!"
The brute flinches, her head violently snapping towards the source of the call.
" You gonna make me burst down walls to find you, or you gonna do it yourself?!! "
His head turns to Omoni’s back, already slowly approaching an empty desk in his office.
“Don’t!” he wishes to cry out, but it’s far too late. Her grip is firm and before he can process, she heaves the desk up by the leg before hurling it with immense force through the wall… and the next wall…. And the next… and the next. The dust doesn’t even settle before she roars in response.
“ THE HELL’ER YOU HERE FOR?! WHY AREN’T YOU IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING YOU IDIOT?!”
Still coated in rage yet in an act to prove her “undivided” attention was still on her Captain, she turns back to face him.
“ I’M STILL LISTENING!!!”
“Ugh…"

“… you two are free to go.”
He nods at Emi and once more at Junko, signaling their permission to leave if they wished. The more important matters he had wished to discuss with them had already been revealed, so they didn’t need to be subject to what would follow. Yu steps from behind his desk and stomps his way out to the lobby, emerging from the giant hole that was once... a moderately sized doorway. Directly from his initial exit, the barbarian comes into vision– it wasn’t exactly easy to miss him due to his large stature and with each of their encounters, a soft groan would emerge from the blonde. The Captain’s sore expression is familiar to Jinnosuke, now further intensified thanks to his own Lieutenant’s actions.
“Perfect timing, Jinnosuke. Let’s– … hm?”
… Yu begins in a sarcastic tone before the sight of another Shinigami startles him. Only inches from the destruction and perhaps the only one not visibly startled from Omoni’s rampage stands Jatiri who in response to their eyes' initial meeting expresses his wish.
“H-hello, I'm Jatiri, third seat of the Ninth. I'm looking for lieutenant Shinobu Abe."
Despite holding such a high rank in the Ninth Division, the closest division to the Fourth location-wise, Yu hadn’t recognized the boy at all. Perhaps their rankings had shifted after Maho’s demise, but regardless, the mere mention of the Ninth… grew a lump in Yu’s throat. Once focused solely on Jatiri, his vision shifts through him, now seeking eye contact with a nurse behind him already approaching.
“Lieutenant Abe has a visitor. Take him to her room, please.”
… he asks of her, obtaining only a nod as a reply from the nurse before shuffling past the boy and down the wrecked hallway. She would expect Jatiri to follow her as it was easier to get lost within the deeper wings of the hospital where their most critical patients remained.
The Captain’s head now quickly turns over his shoulder in Omoni’s direction.
“Get Jinnosuke in an exam room so we can do a clinical risk assessment. I’ll be there soon to debrief the two of you… and please. No more throwing things whether its property… or him.”
Yu’s plea to his Lieutenant would hopefully convince her to contain herself enough to complete his objective, even though all knew it would no doubt fall on deaf ears. At least he could trick himself into believing he tried. With a deep sigh, he leaves the pair in the aftermath of their enthusiastic greetings to each other, his oddly, stealthy march leading him down the same hallway to the station's intensive care unit.
“She’s still unresponsive. Please make your visit short, if possible,”
… the shy nurse whispers, her dominant hand placed on the sliding doors to Shinobu’s room. Her gaze shifts downward, obviously filled with remorse for the 3rd Seat. Having to deal with the death of his Captain and now the potential loss of his Lieutenant whose own health was as frail as the wind-- all in the same week.
With her head still lowered, her hand slides from the door’s surface as she makes her quick exit, shuffling down the dark hallway and leaving Jatiri to himself...

... as far he was aware.

Between surveying faces and really observing the one styling a haori, the newly promoted third seat recognized those that he had read about; however, despite being a high rank officer of a division with a wealth of information, he knew of only some of the Shinigami in the room. But this was going to change, for better awareness would bring him more clarity. Without such, he couldn't tell his allies from enemies. Enemies, at some point, had to be dealt with, while allies should be embraced. A question was whether anyone in the room would ever stab him in the back.
“Lieutenant Abe has a visitor. Take him to her room, please.”
Just as his mind jumped to the question, his attention was garnered by Yu. Slowly, Jatiri turned away from the captain, his eyes even slower to adjust. To have gazed so intensely meant that he had made an effort to study Yu for one reason or another. But now, traversing the barracks with a nurse suited him, and they walked a considerable amount. Shinobu must be close, so he thought about what he would say.
Shit.
A realization was that he didn't bring her a thing, and visiting empty handed would be...wrong. Therefore, much to the nurse's disapproval, he swiped some flowers that he found along the way.
“She’s still unresponsive. Please make your visit short, if possible,”
Jatiri nodded, a slow nod, and the nurse exited the room. Setting the flowers down atop a table beside Shinobu, he took a momentary pause, and then a few words escaped him.
"Some seriously unexpected shit has happened, so I really hope you take the news well if --when you wake up. I-I'm new to this --all of this, and it's really messing with me --you know, because I really want to do the right thing, but I-I...don't know what that is."
Jatiri began looking to one of the room's four walls as if staring someone in the face.
"But I'm going to keep pushing. That's what I do."
He spoke a little louder now.
"And there's still unfinished business that needs to be settled. Until it is, things can't be all rainbows and sunshine. I hope you understand."
His eyes, which were to the wall as he said this, returned to an incapacitated Shinobu before settling on the floor. Had he said too much? Should he have said more? What if an enemy had heard him?

“Get Jinnosuke in an exam room so we can do a clinical risk assessment. I’ll be there soon to debrief the two of you… and please. No more throwing things whether its property… or him.”
Seeing how exasperated the kid was caused Hageshi to pause this time. A rare occurrence to be sure. A heavy sigh escaped him and he started to leave them. Then it dawned on her that she’d come to talk about other things too but she’d gotten so mad she totally overlooked them! Before he could head off entirely, Omoni bellowed after him.
“ Yea, yea but we gotta meet up later kid! You gotta teach me some new spells so I can kick more ass! ”
With that, she turned over her shoulder and once again faced Ueku. Her leer was impatient, annoyed and as usual visited by her infamous tension. Looking around, there appeared to be quite the amount of damage done during her latest outrage. Maybe a little bit too much. Eh. Oh well. Those sort of things weren’t her problem after all, they got sorted out one way or another. Plus, no one appeared to be dead or injured! Just a little shaken up.
“ Don’t touch anything when we get in there.”
Omoni's cerulean hues narrowed, then a commandment for Jinnosuke echoed throughout the corridor. After that, she stomped past the group towards a long stretch of hall. At first she didn’t say anything but then barked at her back intending for them all to pay attention to what she had to say. It was obvious that Ueku had no choice but to shuffle after her however, Junko and Emi still had to choose what they were going to do. Soon enough, it looked as if the younger seat and her cats had slipped away during the fray leaving Izumi alone.

“Izumi! With me.”
Hageshi was a woman of little words. What she wanted she made known immediately rather than leaving other’s with a choice that wasted time. Not to mention, it had been a while since she’d actually reconnected with Junko. She was rather fond of her but that had not been the only reason she insisted on her presence. The woman was a whiz at pain management and that was gonna come in handy for their hard headed patient.
Together, the group disappeared around a corner and left the ruins of the medical bay behind. Nurses seemed familiar with this kind of carnage. So much so that when patients expressed fear or concern they assured them everything was alright and they would ignore everything even as rubble shifted about.

Listen Here!

She had come a long way in the past hundred years. From a low seated member in the 5th Division to the Lieutenant of the 7th. To say that her progress was amazing would have been an understatement. Not many within their current line of history had risen through the ranks without wielding a Zanpakuto. She was certainly an exception in this case. Pairing her innate prowess in Kido with Hakuda had taken her far. Adjusting her glasses, Atsuko looked outside of the window from her quarters within the division. Not long ago, the criminal Enso Aikawa had run rampant on the 7th and killed three members. Sadly, Sanyu's father was among these three. They had done absolutely nothing to invoke his wrath and yet he showed them no mercy. The Ise couldn't spare any time to think about what was and what could have been. The current reality before her was one in which she was not affiliated with the 7th those hundred years ago. She was no blessed with abilities that allowed her to warp the fabric of reality. Despite this, the future for the 7th looked promising. Between herself, Shōri, and Sanyu, there was quite a bit that they could accomplish. Her hand drew itself to her mouth as she leaned back slightly and yawned. Paperwork was one thing that never got easier, no matter what one's position was. It was inevitable, to say the least. Unfortunately for people like herself, they had to bear the full brunt of managing their Division's budget and activities. In her case, she was standing in for Captain Asakura. She had been doing so for the past ten years. As a stand-in, she was the one directing and giving orders to those within the Division as she saw fit. One thing that was absolute between her and Itsuki was their unbreakable bond and trust for one another. Although extremely different in their personal lives, their mindsets were well aligned with what was best for their Division.
After her yawn finished, she raised both hands and stretched for a few moments before raising herself to a standing position. Glancing at the letter she had finished reading, she figured that it was time to act. Making her way to the door, she slid it open and then gently closed it, only to appear in the courtyard at the same moment the door was shut. There was no real way to keep track of Atsuko unless she was completely still. Blinking wasn't the only way to miss her, as the naked eye couldn't keep up with her even if it strained itself. Very few within the Soul Society could and they just so happened to be Captains—beings held to a higher standard. Even then, she would wager that she could outpace these legendary beings. For one to raise themselves to Captaincy required nothing short of grit and skill. There were some natural-born geniuses, yes, but they were far and few between. Her spiritual pressure spiked as she applied her Reiatsu while taking a deep breath.

"Oi!!! Sanyu, Shōri, get up and come out here! It's about time that we take a trip to find the Captain in the Rukongai!"
After expelling these words from her mouth, her Reiatsu wrapped itself back around her, disappearing altogether. She figured that this would be a good way of getting the attention of the two seated members and those unseated within the barracks. Surely, her words were clear enough for everyone to understand what this meant. The letter from their Captain detailed some of his work in the Rukongai and his investigations. It was time to help him out and bring him home. No one should go for so long without returning to their home. Aside from this, Ise was curious as to what his findings were and how he would verbalize them. Writing had grown to be so dull and details were bound to repeat over time. Today would be the day that they would accomplish something other than informal training.
