Within the grounds of the Fifth Division, two shinigami swirl around a golden mist. The training between Captain Oda and his subordinates may abruptly come to an end. Captain Oda, so concerned about the immediate reaction of his division to unseen and unsuspected threats, now gets the opportunity to witness it first hand. As, with no previous indication, no sign of shunpo, no trace of energy, a figure clad in white suddenly stands upon the training ground.

One of Commander Murasaki’s own private messengers. These First Division messengers carry the word of Shobatsu himself, something that Captain Oda would have to become familiar with. Perhaps he may recognize them as the pole bearers of the Aku Hachi Hakkō. Though the mere presence of such a being can only signify one thing, the messenger continues to speak out of courtesy.
“Captain Oda, orders for you from the Captain Commander sir.”
In his hands, he holds an envelope, sealed in purple wax with the signet of the First Division. It is ironic that the Blind Commander dispatches only orders meant to be read, but even with all of the Gotei Thirteen’s forms of communication, the written letter remains the most discreet.

The moment the Captain’s hand touches the envelope, the messenger fades from view, as though he never existed at all, his task complete. The message contained inside of the envelope reads:
Quote:Captain Oda,
You and your fellow Captains have been summoned for a meeting. You are to report to the Captains Hall immediately.
A direct audience with Captain Commander Shobatsu Murasaki himself. It was rare for the Commander to call such a meeting. It's been well over a century since the last time the Captains had all gathered, when Yū Nakamoto ascended to the rank. Is this gathering perhaps for Tenzen Oda himself then? He was after all, just recently released from recovery, and permitted to tend to his duties as Captain. No, that would be the hopeful side of the new Captain thinking. The truth is clear. Too much has happened this past year, the Seireitei’s sense of security has crumbled, and dark forces are starting to rise from the cracks. This meeting will hardly be one of celebration. A talk is well overdue.

Observing from an undisclosed location within the training room the Captain waits to see how his subordinates will attack. When his Reiatsu signature vanished is when he used Honzon (本尊:, 'principal image of Buddha) to create an after image out of Kido energy. To be fair he did not use a spell but rather the energy that makes up the barriers found in Kido spells, that aside he figured Arashi and Himari would come at him with killing intent and to avoid a needless injury his "copy" would be the one to take the damage. During these observations is when a figure, clad in white, appeared in the training room. What? When? How? These questions stirred within the mind of the Captain and just as quickly as he silenced them he reappears on the training floor in front of this familiar visitor. He treats him with respect and much like how he treats the Priestesses of the Kido Corps he stands silently waiting for them to speak first.
“Captain Oda, orders for you from the Captain Commander sir.”

He nods and takes the letter, the moment it is firmly in his grasp the messenger is gone from his sight, why are the masked ones so quiet and strange? He lets the irrelevant thought prolong for a moment as he pops the seal on the letter to read its contents.
Quote:Captain Oda,
You and your fellow Captains have been summoned for a meeting. You are to report to the Captains Hall immediately.
The message is short, it takes but one scan of his eyes to take it all in. He closes the letter up and places it into his Shihakusho. His left arm rises into the air, the chain rattling as the links shift over one another, and with a combination of pulling on the chain with a flick of his wrist, his Zanpakuto flies out of the golden mist swirling at the center of the room and returns to his hand. Deactivating his Shikai so he can sheath it the mist collapses to the ground erasing his "Kido clone" and not long after that, the mist itself vanishes. He turns to look to Himari and Arashi giving them each an approving nod.
"We'll have to cut this short for today, we'll continue this again when we have the time to do so. So... Ummm... I'm going to be heading to a meeting with the other Captains, while I'm away doing that I'll need you both to do some things for me. First, Suta-san please get changed into a proper uniform and Shimizu-san, please show him to the Lt's office there you will find your badge Suta-san."
He opens the door to the Dojo with a few dozen Fifth Division soldiers stumbling and falling backward when they see their Captain. They run off and Tenzen lets out a sigh before turning to address his officers again.
"The next thing I need you both to do is to head on over to Kido Corps, they are a well organized and secretive lot so try to be professional as possible during your visit. Once there relay to them two orders the first is to create a few copies of the Dangai records around the time of the Kotetsu event. By the time you have done that the information on those records will have been made public to the Captains. The second order I want you to relay is to begin the immediate construction of a Kidō Cannon." (鬼道砲, Kidōhō)
The Kidō Cannon is an energy weapon powered by Kido that can only be fired when hundreds of Shinigami work in tandem to charge it. The strength of this weapon is enough to obliterate a small dimension let alone used against a singular target. Surely Tenzen knows the risks that come with ordering the construction of such a dangerous weapon such as the fact it causes damage to both Soul Society and the Living World but he also knows the benefits. Centuries ago it was learned that the Quincy hid within the shadow of the Seireitei in their own pocket dimension, had they found a way to reach that dimension the Kidō Cannon would have been more than enough to destroy it and those within. Should a new enemy seek to exploit such a method or even a new one Tenzen would be sure to vanquish them and their pocket dimension in one fell swoop. The damage both worlds would suffer would be inconsequential to destroying the enemy and their base beyond repair.
"Once you are done at Kido Corps HQ I want you both to take a small group of soldiers with you and comb through the Rukongai. Part of my new directive for the Kido Corps is Artifact Recovery and the Rukongai may be home to such things. No matter how small, if the object radiates Spiritual Energy confiscate it."
Tenzen scratches the side of his head, the freshly shaved sides are still somewhat itchy to him. There was more he wanted to say but it wasn't needed at the moment and he didn't exactly want to be late for the meeting.
"There is more we'll need to discuss but it can wait until later. So, with that said, welcome to the Fifth Division Suta-san and if it wasn't clear already let me be the first to congratulate you on becoming our Lt. and as for you Shimizu-san you'll no longer be unseated, from today on you'll be the Fourth seat of our Division. Third Seat will remain vacant until someone with a more combative skill set can take it. You'll still be playing a vital role in this Division Shimizu-san, but like I said we'll have to discuss those things later. You're both dismissed."
Tenzen was the first to leave the training room, heading towards his personal quarters to drop off the message given to him by the Eleventh Division man and the one given to him by the Commander's personal messenger. Well, that wasn't the only reason, he enjoys being barefoot and doesn't care much for footwear but for this occasion, he thinks it would be best to wear the standard tabi and sandal combination. He is not looking forward to wearing either of them.

As Himari was about to rely her attack on her Captain, she quickly stops as a hooded messenger came in with an envelope held out to Captain Oda. She quickly stops, standing in the ground and silently watches as the person speaks
“Captain Oda, Orders for you from the captain commander, sir.”
Himari raised her eyebrow. Was he going to have to leave yet again? He had just gotten back. She almost wanted to laugh. But she kept it to herself but she crossed her hands over her chest and waited for him to finish reading the note. It was important after all. The Captain commander had orders for him, it had to be important. As Oda nods and the messenger leaves he turns towards them.
She sort of knew that their training session was going to be cut short, so she nodded at this. As he told her to show Suta was the LT’s office was, she finally understood who he was. And she raised an eyebrow. She must have been not paying much attention because she honestly didn’t know even his name before all of this. But she nodded. As he congratulated Suta on his new role of LT, she would smile but she looked a little shocked when he would turn to her and say she is the fourth seat. She didn’t really know what that entails but she was thankful no the less. One of her main insecurities was her not being able to do anything with her lack of experience. So it was nice.
As Tenzen would leave the room, she would turn towards the LT. She would sigh clearly her throat.
“Might as well show you where the LT quarters are now, Mister Lieutenant.” She would say. She meant it as a joke but deep down she was a little annoyed that it had to be her who showed him where it was.
She didn’t say anything else as she made her ways out of the training room

Pushed away, indirectly, Captain Oda aided in his plan to put distance between the two of them. He skids, his feet dragging along the dirt. His blade sheathed, as if he still had a sword even at this moment… The smile retained, though being sent back and coming to an abrupt halt by his will alone. The rules remained standing and as long as they did, Arashi felt that he made the correct decision, but even through the smallest openings in his eyes, he knew very well that Captain Oda did not agree with his tactic. More so, the fact that he held back, believing that Arashi is wasting time trying to discern friend from foe… There is truth in this… Now wasn’t the time to cause the Captain extreme injury. Despite his status, his ability in all his skills and what he wanted from them, this is still a training session… But… He would get what he desired from him. Holding back to make him believe that he was wasting time. Instruction had to be in order next…
His unwavering stance stands strong as Himari quickly moves in. Delivering kicks in all her efforts to land them against Tenzen. To no avail, her kicks never found a solid strike. Just like him, she is tossed away, giving her distance as well… As anticipated, Captain Oda begins to speak.
"What did I just say Arashi? Wor-”
From all sides, Captain Oda will find himself in the middle of a barrage as beams of light shoot from every minuscule spec. Thin as strings, they move from up close, from afar. From above, from his sides, from below. No space to maneuver. No time to evaluate and formulate a counter. No hesitation. Even though the ones that came near Himari, she experiences no harm as they bend sharply and curve inches from striking her to get to their intended target. There is no direction that goes unnoticed by the insurmountable number of lights that travel at unprecedented speeds. Captain Oda’s vision becomes obscured by the unseen amounts of light traveling his way. The intent to kill becomes so intensified that the Captain will undoubtedly feel as though Arashi aims to take his life, that the hollow inside of him has taken over. As palpable as it may be, every beam of light stopped before striking Tenzen, a centimeter from touching his flesh. Halted without a second to spare, each beam of light controlled to a T. The feeling to kill, erased completely at the last possible moment.
Even now, Arashi did not relax his senses. Remaining ever alert, his posture giving away no openings for the Captain to exploit even at this moment. Can even a man of his skill set avoid let alone stop such an onslaught without the use of Kido? If he wished for Arashi to treat him like an enemy, then so be it. If he wanted conviction, lack of hesitation, and the resolve to take care of a threat without a bead of sweat dropping...
Arashi will use every ounce of his power then.
Ban-
Karma sure did work well. Interrupted by a figure cloaked in white. A memory flashes, from before the start of the Kuchiki incident… Yes, he remembers those that carried the will and word of Commander Murasaki. The smothering feeling of importance surrounds himself and likely even Captain Oda and Himari. As fast as his shikai is released. As fast as those beams of lights moved, it all retracts and reforms the blade. The result of him sticking the handle out and calling Hoshizora back to its sealed state without uttering a single word.
The figure speaks, whilst handing Captain Oda the sealed envelope. Even without being able to directly read its contents, he has been around long enough to figure out either it’s a Captain’s meeting call or a mission that Squad Five needs to handle. Either way, this training session is about to be cut short, the moment that messenger stepped in. Which begs the questions, when did he actually arrive? How did he not notice his presence? A ghost is an understatement when describing the messengers of Squad One.
”Understood, Captain.”

At the mention of his clothes, he had completely forgotten about the uniform that the Scientist had made for him. It is time to change and finally get some familiarity with his Squad and his new position..
Captain Oda continues…
"The next thing I need you both to do is to head on over to Kido Corps, they are a well organized and secretive lot so try to be professional as possible during your visit. Once there relay to them two orders the first is to create a few copies of the Dangai records around the time of the Kotetsu event. By the time you have done that the information on those records will have been made public to the Captains. The second order I want you to relay is to begin the immediate construction of a Kidō Cannon." (鬼道砲, Kidōhō)

No time to relax and rest. Orders have been given… Arashi however never expected a chance to truly sit down. After all, he had to run an entire Squad as a 3rd seat. While being a Lieutenant is a step up and a great opportunity to achieve the role of Captaincy, maybe things will be a little easier for him, now that he has someone above him. Then again, no one will find Arashi to be a slacker.
”Consider it done, Captain.”
Of course, ready to complete his task without fail. Whilst, interested in learning about the construction of this, Kido Cannon.
Curiosity sinks in. What more did he wish to discuss? Arashi had a clue that it possibly entails about the Hollow inside of them. A talk that needs to be had and discussed about. How will they combat and understand these extremities. However, his smile broaden’s some to hear that Himari is no longer unseated, but a fourth seat among the ranks. A goal is placed before her. Will she chase it or settle for her position?
Captain Oda leaves as Arashi has come to hold an understanding of his personality and character in a whole. Timid, shy, nervous, yet… He can be a deadly, an unstoppable force when he is needed. He still admires his calm and humble nature. The energy between him and Captain Oda should coalesce well… But now it is time to truly familiarize himself with Himari. What did her persona and character entail? What could she truly offer to this Squad? He wouldn’t ask out-right but he prefered to watch.
“Might as well show you where the LT quarters are now, Mister Lieutenant.”
She would find it difficult to see if Arashi is amused by her little joke. As she will soon come to find that his expression is constant and hardly ever fades. Despite her slight annoyance in her task, he still stood a bit excited to explore as much as he could, before things got underway.
”Let's get a move on then. It's your lead, since you have more familiarity than I. Don’t fret, I learn fast.”

“let’s get a move on then. It’s your lead since you have more familiarity than I. Don’t fret, I learn fast.”
Himari tried not to roll her eyes. She really did. But something about him just annoyed her. What it was, Himari didn’t know. Maybe the fact that he was a Lieutenant and he didn’t even know where his own quarters were. It annoyed Himari and she really wanted to say something but she decided against it. She just shut up and walked down the halls.
As she walked towards the second floor of the barracks, she kept her head held high but her thoughts were elsewhere. Like the Kidō Cannon for example. Why did the captain want them to construct such a thing? Himari knew what they were, studying about them as she studied everything about Kido. But why did he need such a high-intensity weapon? What were they up to? What was happening? She hoped she would find out before the whole thing was done.
But she had a feeling she was going to just be thrown in again.
But she was brought out of her thoughts as she stood in front of the door of the Lieutenant quarters. She quickly turned towards Arashi, holding her hand out.
“ well here you are, lieutenant. Your quarters. Don’t need me to hold your hand and walk you in do I?” She says, her eyes not hiding her annoyance but her face held a smile.
