Martin’s actions had been simple. A pivot, right after a beheading would follow. Martin always stayed true to his beliefs, and what is better than the belief in one’s own self? Especially one’s own senses.

’Hmm…?’

Martin’s senses felt something… Odd.
While Martin’s ability to sense Reiryoku is not the best, it’s quite high. But what is higher is the fact that Martin had long since trained for a day like this. The ability of playing a hide and seek with incorporeal beings - such as the hands, as well as the spirits that Martin had befriended. His senses in that regard was possibly even beyond what a master could have - a skill derived from his own life’s experiences and attuned senses in regards to his interaction towards spirits - especially those that loved to hide from him. And so, today, Martin’s senses had saved him. Was it just the fact that his senses could feel the existence of those incorporeal snakes? The answer is no. What allowed him to save himself from the hand’s grasp, was the fact that he - after years of being an assassin - could sense bloodlust. Specifically he could sense both active and passive bloodlust. Active bloodlust is the bloodlust someone feels towards someone the moment they go in for the kill, or fight against them or just dislike someone. Passive bloodlust is the sixth sense one can have that - for example - states that if you go this way, something bad will occur. Martin’s senses in those two factors had been quite enhanced, but between the two - bloodlust and incorporeal sensing, he could sense bloodlust the most.
And so, it was time to showcase what free aerial maneuverability truly meant.
Martin’s body left the place he was at the moment. It dived towards the earth. If someone was watching, all they would see was but an afterimage - a result from Martin’s overall speed.
Martin’s focus was to lower himself enough so that the sensation of danger he had felt would dissipate. And so, he reached one spot that screamed at Martin that it’s safe. Oddly enough, the spot was moving - a result from those snakes, the hands, moving around in order to guard Chain Top’s body. Martin weaved through them. His wind barrier never left him, the hands always unable to come in contact with him. Would they be a spiritual effect - a blast of energy - then they could pass through this shield and damage Martin’s body. Luckily, they weren’t.
Martin’s blade is currently within the body of Chain Top. Due to how the wind barrier works - granting its wielder the ability of being frictionless, all the while disallowing them to interfere with the world around them - that does not equate to the blade being unable to be within Chain Top’s body, a result that has already occured. Martin weaves his weapon around, following the path of his sensations, his speed such that makes it both impossible to be caught and - in the off-chance one of those incorporeal snakes is around, he can throw it away due to the hands being unable to touch him - resulting in their movement away from Martin’s body. His weaving around leads him to the vicinity of the area where the heart exists.

‘Hmm… What if…?’

An idea has filled within Martin’s mind. What if he could make a safezone within this area of danger and then… What if?
He smiles. He capitalizes on his speed, as well as something he has yet to so in an offensive manner. Clypeus This ability - that fills the area in front of Martin with the energy of Wind, creating a ring of wind that anything that passes from within it, has their speed doubled, as well as granting absolute friction removal abilities - is not a defensive ability. No. On the contrary to what has been used until now, it is an ability meant for offense. And so, it’s time to change from defense to offense.
Much like how Chain Top earned his nickname, so does Martin act. He begins to do the same action, moving his body around - though unlike what Chain Top did by moving its body in a circle and using the chains to produce damage - Martin utilizes his own body, as well as wind barrier to force the hands to simply get out of his way. Martin is on a taller side. One meter and seventy five centimeters, or five feet and nine inches - without having extended his arms. Doing so, due to the arms being between around one third to half of one’s body, Martin’s arms are around twenty centimeters, or around eight inches. This allows Martin to create a safe zone around the area of Chain Top’s heart of around one meter and ninety five centimeters, or six feet and four inches.
This safezone is huge - if compared to the speed capabilities Chain Top has shown, as well as how slow it acts. For Martin to create this safe zone, he needed around one second and some more, but less than two seconds. He has also assured that his own body passed by all the area around.
And so, there is one thing he needs to do.
Martin-Chokuto-Fire.png

The moment that Martin is assured that nothing is around, that no sensation of danger still linger, he immediately changes the Element he is focusing.
Fire.
It’s embrace was the last thing Martin remembers from his childhood. It was the very first element he had unlocked and utilized. Martin smiles. He needs but one thing to do. Simply let the blade penetrate deeply the body of Chain Top. And so, before his Wind Element is changed to his Fire, the blade is currently deep within Chain Top’s body. Currently the tip is outside - around one palm away from the body of Chain Top.
And then, what is seen is Fire. Chain Top’s body has been engulfed in it.

‘This was it.’

Martin’s thoughts are as such. He hopes this is enough, but he doesn’t stop. At that moment, it begins.
It’s true that the Hellfire that Chain Top has lived in until now is stronger than the Fire that Martin has called. Would the Fire be enough to kill it? Unknown. Only Chain Top would know, whether the existence of its screams of pain exist or not. What is sure though, is the fact that - unless explicitly trained, something doubtful - Chain Top’s insides would work as any normal spiritual entity’s insides. If they were on Fire, they would burn.
Alas, Martin did not stop there.
Once more, the force that existed only moments before the insides of Chain Top started to be on Fire - starting from its heart - Martin’s body was, once more, clad into the wind barrier. The pause for the barrier to come back being but a mere moment. One can even liken the time it turned off to be turned back on to be instantaneous.
One could ask how. Well, the answer is simple. Martin’s Fullbringing ability has a form that Martin calls Complete. In truth, it’s far from being a truly complete form, but that is something Martin will come to know in the future.
And so, the form that Martin calls Complete is just him focusing his Reiatsu within all four channels of his Orbis - the ring that channels forth Martin’s Fullbringing energy.
Code:
A w a k e n
Martin is incapable of hearing this, a voice as if calling him. Rather, a sensation. It originates from Orbis. Its true essence calls for Martin to deepen his understanding and capabilities. But no, he lacks the experience to do so. At the moment, Martin simply focuses all his energy within Orbis. This allows Martin to call upon more than one element at the time. Currently, four lights shine around both Martin, as well as Chain Top.
Red, Green, White and Blue. The colors of all the elements that Martin can utilize.
It is now that the prison takes effect though.
caf97d84de0b5706e9b60019139c1453.png

As the prison begins to shake and the air continues to grow thinner and heavier an explosion of force, coming from the floating ball of debris, produces a shockwave enough to topple buildings as it ripples through the air.
Through the explosion and the dust the four colors breakthrough. Their strength is enough to cut through the barrier of dust and shine their splendor upon the world.
At the same moment, Martin is found with his own weapon still deeply within Chain Top’s body. Unlike before though, the blade lacks any color of any essences upon it. That does not mean that it is no longer clad with an element. No. It’s clad with all the elements at the same time and the same is true for Martin. In this state, the one Martin calls Complete, he can freely control the four Elements’ abilities and bring them forth as he likes - provided his own Reiryoku is enough to keep this up. Last time Martin used it, he counted around five minutes of actively using abilities, as well as this state. If he just has the state active, he can go for around thirty minutes.
Martin’s body is clad in all four Elements. From each Element, Martin has summoned the abilities to assist him with what he is about to do.
From Fire, he has summoned the ability Coniunctis, which is energy of Fire that is focused above Martin after which It takes the shape of an asian dragon and is able to follow the path of Martin's movements. Specifically it follows the broad direction of where Martin’s body moves and not fine tuned movement. Martin is able to only order a direction, the dragon follows and then Martin moves his body once more in order to give another order. This means that Martin has to do big movements in order to control this.
Martin’s body - since the moment this has formed - doesn’t stop moving. The Fire dragon moves forth, as Martin guides it to surround the area of the explosion. In doing so, he hopes that the heat of the dragon will be enough to incinerate the debris, as Martin’s fire is capable of melting metals that come in contact with it - provided those metals are from the World of the Living. In order to melt metals that come from the World of the Unliving, he would need to insert far more Reiatsu within his Fire.
What Martin uses as well, is the known power of the Wind, the Wind Barrier that grants his safety against the snakes is also constantly used. In the case that Chain Top, at any moment, decided to actually come in contact with Martin’s body, the result would be a big no. It would be impossible.
Furthermore, what ensures Martin’s vulnerability in regards to the snakes is Martin’s utilization of Water. Icicles have formed around Martin, also following his body’s movements, always remaining at a fixed distance away from him - likened to how an extra limb would work. These ensue that the hands will come in contact with the icicles first and then they would proceed to come in contact with Martin’s body - if they even managed to bypass the Wind Barrier, something impossible unless they were a fully spiritual entity - such as a blast of Kido, or a Cero. Alas, they are not.
And lastly, around where Martin’s Fire dragon has coiled - its circumference being at around two steps away from the explosion at the time - a film of energy is formed. This film of energy is made by utilizing the Earth Element, allowing it to encompass the entirety of the blast area. While this technique is one that creates half a spherical barrier, this time two of such abilities are cast in order to form a sphere that is capable of withstanding the explosion - of stopping it.
As mentioned, Martin’s body never stops moving. His utilization of his skills is such that - in theory - will lead towards the very best outcome. Only one flaw exists in this plan. If Martin’s chokuto is clad with the Wind Barrier, then any damage from his moving around - as the chokuto is deeply stabbed within Chain Top’s body - will be nulled. And in order for that to not occur, two effects exist at the same time. Specifically, the first effect now circumvents Chain Top as well. More precisely, its insides. Martin had utilized his own chokuto as a way to focus the Wind Rings that grant the frictionless state within Chain Top’s own body. Two beings in this state can interact with each other, as seen from how Blacky could be held by Boomy previously.
And so, all the while Martin’s body moved, Chain Top’s insides were currently both slashed apart, as well as becoming faster. This ensured two things.
Firstly, Martin would be immune to the hands.
Secondly, the blood flow from within Chain Top’s body became faster - two times faster exactly.
Due to these two reasons, Chain Top would come to bleed to death, unless it could heal itself.
As for the second effect that is utilized at the same time, it’s the one brought forth when the chokuto is clad in Water. Vestitus of Water. When using this, Martin's foldable Chokuto is clad with the energy of Water, changing the way the weapon works. While the metal itself remains exactly that, a metal, it gives Martin the choice of choosing if his weapon will act like water or not - that is to say if something will pass through, or if it will be met with resistance similar to what one would feel if they were to be hit with a tsunami.
Through the utilization of those two, Martin has placed a secondary assurance that his own ability - even if he was unable to actually cast the Wind Barrier using his chokuto as a means of focusing the Wind Rings that bring forth the frictionless state, this way Martin can now assure the fact that the insides of Chain Top will be blended all together.
As time passed, Chain Top’s body would feel more and more dead - if no counter to the above was actualized.
If Chain Top ended up dead, then Martin would feel tired. He had used his abilities extensively. He hoped for the best.
After Martin has been sure of Chain Top’s demise he will move towards the direction of where Blacky and Boomy skid away. Or at least, he hoped he would be able to do so.
At that moment, he felt an odd sensation, as if something passed from within him.

‘What…?’

Martin wondered. He felt something similar to the barrier of Earth that he can create. It felt… Familiar? He was unsure. Nonetheless, he would later feel something more.
Danger!
Martin would sense the attack produced by the entity named Higen - the Captain of Eleventh Division - and Martin would immediately cease this ability of his, the one he calls as Complete even if it isn’t truly complete, and only focus on avoiding this sudden attack. In the case though that the attack reached him, his own frictionless Wind Barrier would save him from any damage. Sadly, the same would go for Chain Top in the case it was still alive.

“Stop! I am on your side!”

Martin’s voice was the last action he could do, waiting to see what the reaction from the other parties would be.

Togabito-2-1.png

SNAAAAAP
The cruel sound of bones snapping fills the space around the Togabito, joined with the sound of muscles and sinew tearing. Martin, having rushed to aid the Shinigami, to protect the ruined city, and to kill its destroyer instead finds himself viciously and literally disarmed. The assassin who believed himself to be a predator, instead finds himself a hapless victim, a fate orchestrated by his own design no less. Blood spurts and spills from the torn nubs. With no hands to wield a weapon, the human has no means in which to fight. Having chosen to foolishly attack instead of retreat when he had the opportunity, he is quickly left at the mercy of the Togabito. Unfortunately, the Togabito knows nothing of mercy.
The Sinner gives Martin no time to process what has happened, no time to regret his foolishness, his ignorance as the debris rockets towards them both from every conceivable angle. The invisible limb gripping Martin’s torn hands and sword, adjusts the blade to stab it through the mortal’s exposed right nub of an arm, turning his own limb into a sheath. The blade is forced straight through flesh and muscle, in a single forceful jab to pierce through flesh in order to reach its Master’s chest, its handle barely sticking out from the bloodied stump. The spectacle is one that is left unviewable to the otherwise occupied Shizuka, given their distance and the multiple debris obscuring the events.
The hovering cocoon of debris lingers for a moment upon its completion. For a few infinitesimally insignificant moments, there was peace within Naruki from hell's harbinger. It was almost as if everything that had happened before was some dark and twisted dream. It was not. These moments of silence, these moments of peace were the dream—and all of Naruki is soon awakened back to its hellish reality.
RUUUUUMMMBLLEEE
There is a sound, a rumbling like thunder preluding a cataclysmic explosion. The debris is pulverised and sent rocketing away as if fired from a machine gun, riddling the terrain with multiple holes while toppling over buildings that had somehow been previously spared from the destruction of the battle. Martin’s body, like the debris, is sent hurtling away with a force that forces him through multiple slabs of concrete walls. The spell that had meant to bind the Togabito finds itself stopped short of its mark, struggling in vain to complete its objective, only to be splintered and destroyed, reduced to glowing particles as insignificant as the dust that covered the ground.
The Togabito now freed from the minor obstruction, prepared to lament in his disappointment takes notice of his surroundings. The area is enclosed in what appears to be a barrier of sorts, and in this space is a new reiatsu. This spiritual pressure was nothing like the ants constantly nipping at his heels, begging to be crushed. This colossal power was surely something that would be far more entertaining than tormenting insects.
“Shizuka! I need to know any and everything about this enemy that you can tell me!
The man’s voice was as mighty as the power nestled within his mighty frame. Even the Togabito could hear him from their distance. The Togabito shakes, but it is not out of fear. No, he finds himself giddy with excitement, the chains rattling in chorus with his eagerness. His hand stretches out towards the source of the power only to find the new object of his “affection” and attention gone. In an instant the sinner is overwhelmed in the shimmering light, robbing him completely of his vision as it shines. It is a fate shared by everyone within visual range of this battlefield.
The chains of the Togabito rattle violently as he thrashes in this moment of blindness, seemingly before he can adapt his body, outside of his volition is pulled backwards. In the next instant, the Togabito is gone, a loud whistle announcing what is surely his body being sent spearing through the air towards the ground. With the brightness of this Captain’s reiatsu within this makeshift cage it is difficult to ascertain exactly what had taken place, or how. The Captain remains on guard, waiting and assessing the situation. A veteran of war and combat he refuses to become complacent in a moment of perceived victory. Surely he, and the others could tell..the gates of hell still, have not yet retreated. The air continues to cackle and fester with the hell born heat, the gate consuming anything unfortunate enough to venture within the scope of its pull, forcefully dragging all manner of objects into its confines, be it organic or inorganic, living...or dead.

At least it would seem so.
Martin has indeed fallen victim to the hand’s action, a mistake he paid for. His right hand is left damaged, but nothing extreme nor something impossible to be fixed - at least in the future, though scars would be left. Thankfully for Martin, some factors come into play and he manages to avoid more damage. What happens is simple.
Firstly, Martin’s hand damage has occured the moment the blade of the chokuto came in contact with the hand, long before the hand was fast enough to even do any actions. Its immovable capabilities were something Martin did not expect. Though Martin’s own speed was also something Chain Top would not have expected.
And so, Martin’s velocity and momentum is retained from the hit, forcing his body to move in a counterclockwise direction. This happens because the force of his attack has propelled his body in the opposite direction than the one he moved in regards to the direction axis - ground to sky and ground to ground. Martin’s body begins to circle around, as his brain fights against the pain and manages to withstand it in the end.
With Martin’s body now making circles one can wonder, how haven’t the hands managed to touch him? The answer lies in but a singular moment. While Martin feels the pain itself, this doesn’t mean that he will allow it to control him. On the contrary, he utilizes the pain so that his brain can work faster - a result from the chemicals his brain produces. This way, Martin is capable of calling forth the wind shield, forcing the hands away.
Then Martin takes a step back - though with Martin flying, he just moves his body away from Chain Top.
Martin has two nicknames. One nickname was granted to him by other assassins - Sicarius, Assassin. The reason he was granted that one, was that Martin has climbed the ladder of the assassins’ rankings quite fastly, even having managed to kill other assassins easily.
As for the second nickname, it is something he himself has started calling him. An egotistical action - though it was something he keeps to himself. Magus, Wizard. This nickname was one he chose for his own abilities of wielding the elements and how closely resembling to wizards, magicians and warlocks is seen in various fiction.
Martin smiles. It is true that he enjoys utilizing his chokuto. But it is also true that his capabilities lay in something more than just wielding a weapon. And so, from within Martin’s body, one can sense four different energies materializing - provided one can recognize the differences between the elements at play. Water, Earth,Fire, Air. Four elements had appeared at that moment, the same moment that Chain Top had tried to get a hold, as well as stab the chokuto through Martin’s right hand. Martin’s clothes start to flutter, as if a light wind flows through and around them. Martin stands there, his windshield allowing him to avoid the touch from those hands. The rumble itself starts arriving at Martin and Chain Top, their damage to Naruki town quite heavy. Martin’s wish was to manage and defend against that. Now though, he cares not for that anymore. The moment that the eruption occurs, it is at that exact moment that around Chain Top - who has remained immovable until now - the element of Earth is focused. A film of energy gathers and forms a fully circular prison around Chain Top. This prison is actually made up of two half spherical objects, or barriers as is the proper term, that when they come in contact with an entity - from within or outside - they automatically close and become a prison, all the while exerting a higher and higher density from continuously closing. As for a gap between the two half barriers, no gap exists. They have fully fused with one another.
Furthermore, at the back of Chain Top, Water elemental energy has begun to accumulate. It becomes extremely strong and fastly - its aim is to form a tsunami, if allowed the poetic expression - that forces an entity to be pushed away from Martin’s vicinity. Specifically it pushes an entity to the direct opposite angle that Martin has casted this ability. As for the result? Chain top - unless it actually tried to hold its own, a difficult result due to the factor that this tsunami is similar to the hands in the fact that they are a spiritual entity capable of producing physical results, but also due to the fact that this tsunami uses the same speed as Martin - specifically Martin’s speed that has far surpassed that of Chain Top. So unless Chain Top has the physical capability to defend against such a push, it would be nigh improbable for it to avoid being thrown onto the barrier itself. As for the hands themselves trying to actually steal the kinetic energy and force, it would be impossible as while the result is physical, the entity that brings it forth is spiritual. Unless the hands had the capability to interact with such spiritual entities, then it would be nigh improbable for Chain Top to try and steal the kinetic force.
Even so, this was not the last action that Martin would perform. No. Even more Water elemental energy gathered around Martin, as icicles formed around him. These icicles were then commanded to stab within Chain Top’s body. One would ask, why? It has been showcased that Chain Top is capable of interacting with entities that were physical. And yet, if the hands tried to stop the icicles, the hands would be thrown away - a result brought forth by the wind rings through which the icicles passed through, gaining the ability of being frictionless.
This way, the icicles could reach Chain Top. As for how they would stab it - while being frictionless - the answer lays into one important factor. It is true that when Martin holds a chokuto, the chokuto itself is also clad in the elemental energy he has called forth at the time. The same occurs for when Martin utilizes more than one energy. This way he can make his chokuto capable of bypassing one’s body - allowing it to not come in contact with it - and go through it, an ability that uses the element of Water
But how are icicles - that Martin is not in contact with, capable of having such a thing occur for them? The answer lies in the fact that, unlike the chokuto, the icicles are part of Martin’s body - his powers to be more specific. This way, the icicles are also filled with the elemental energy or energies of Martin’s choice.
And so, the icicles pass the hands - through usage of the frictionless capabilities of the Air.
They end up stabbing deep into Chain Top’s body - through the usage of Water’s capabilities, making it so that Martin is given the choice of choosing if his weapon will act like water or not, that is to say if something will pass through, or if it will be met with resistance similar to what one would feel if they were to be hit with a tsunami.
The force that the tips of the icicles that stab within Chain Top’s body is vastly enhanced - a result brought forth from the elemental energy of Earth as the weapon receives the property of weight.
And lastly, after damage has been done from the initial attack, the icicles themselves start spinning around. All of them - seven in total with a size of twenty centimeters in length, two centimeters in height and around half a centimeter in width - all of which are at different spots upon Chain Top’s upper body, specifically at the spots where the heart, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, intestines, spleen and lungs would be situated upon a human. Through this spinning, as well as the capabilities granted onto these icicles, the insides of Chain Top - unless enhanced - would become mush, grinded by this custom made grinder.
Alas, the fate of Chain Top has yet to conclude, as Martin immediately calls forth one more energy. Fire. It is true that the fire Martin can call is nothing when compared to the Hell Fire that Chain Top has been accustomed to. Though, would Chain Top’s insides be capable of defending against being burned? And so, the icicles are clad within Fire elemental energy, allowing it to burn and cauterize the wounds that are inflicted. While the cauterizing is instantaneous, due to the whole process the result is that it doesn’t occur, as Chain Top’s insides are continuously blended, burned and cauterized.
In the case its insides are unable to defend against being burned, the end result will obviously be that Chain Top itself will be burned from the inside to the outside. Furthermore, due to the high heat as well as the properties of hot temperatures moving upwards, Chain Top’s brain would also begin to boil or melt - depending on the chances whether the insides were capable of actually managing to defend.
Last but not least, after this attack has been set, Martin would once more call forth the Air. He would immediately send a projectile - the same one that acted like a boomerang - onto the prison that surrounded Chain Top’s body. This was done in order to force the prison to close around Chain Top’s body.
The moment the icicles would come in contact with the shield, the icicles would continue their actions uninterrupted. Though in the case Chain Top tried to escape from this, it would find itself forcefully thrown back - damaged by the same force Chain Top had when it tried to escape from the prison. Furthermore, the prison would begin to close more and more - one could liken this to a car crasher - as its density rose through the roof. The result would be for Chain Top’s body to begin being crashed, its insides - bones and such - would end up in a soup-like state.
And so, the moment afterwards is the moment a powerful presence is felt. Within the amount that Martin took to perform the attacks, he missed the que of the Shinigami Captain's arrival. He had heard his voice, yes, but didn't focus on him so much due to the nature of what he had said.
Martin had wanted to finish all this. His control over his own power still had not finished. He was focusing all these spells and proceeded to once more call the nature of the water - after having seen how this new arrival was attacking. It's true that Martin held down Chain Top. It's true that he had focused in damaging it. It is also true that he called upon the same wave energy to push Chain Top onto the attack of the newly arrived entity.
As for Martin, due to being in a distance away from the attacks he would proceed to go towards Boomy - coming out of the blanket of dust, mist and debris - Martin's wish to check up on Blacky.

"He all right?"

He proceeded to ask, his only concern and wish for Blacky to have survived this. And then he waited, hoping for the best.

Shizuka eye focused strictly on the mayhem within the city, The charred streets, the sounds of metal clashing together, and the ominous debris still being constantly gravitated towards the Togabito. While still watching from his far away distance, he witnessed a huge expulsion of force coming from the Togabito, in a attempt to wipe away everything around him.
BOOM
Shizuka watched on as the body of the Togabito begin to free up.... only for a second. Until the debris, quickly brought it self back to its original position. Shizuka knew the Togabito didn't care or know about the ability, it was more of a nuisance to him than a complete hindrance. The debris was attracted to him via a magnetic charge, there was never any chance he would escape even if Shizuka himself wanted to. As long as Shizuka had reiatsu, any means of dispersal would've been useless unless he completely incinerated everything attracted to him into dust. With objects being much closer to him now, the objects would be drawn into him like a gravitational force of a planet. Each object he blew away constantly pelting him continuously over and over again, being close to full orb of objects the Togabito would be sealed in an entire chamber of debris once again.
Martin who was blown away by the initial shockwave would find himself avoiding this fate with the Togabito. Saved by the harbinger of death, but suddenly while looking on Shizuka was a met with a familiar chill. His presence, his greatness, a savant when it came to his commandeering pressure. Shizuka hastily turned around to none other than the Shining Commander himself. His prayers had been answered somewhat, while he definitely would've wanted Higen to come. He was expecting Lieutenant Kasumi to grace herself on the battlefield once more. Shizuka quickly turned around, as he couldn't bear to witness Higen's nonchalant expression over the state of the battlefield. The man he trusted the most within his division was scuffed up heavily, carrying a near death body, and watching on as the enemy he was supposed to dispatch is a distance away from him. Shizuka's thoughts of his failure would begin to taint his head, so much for being called the Commander of his Task Force.
Higen's footsteps were painted within Shizuka's head even though he was not witnessing them. They were slow, decisive, yet when he picture his stance, it would be one that was eager to end, hasty to destroy. Confidence riddled throughout Shizuka's body just imagining the sheer power Higen was about to display. Just his presence was showed why many in the Soul Society called him the Shining General.
Shizuka witnessed on as a green translucent cube encased the battlefield, trapping Martin and Togabito within. The debris still coming into track the Togabito was halted by this cube. Higen then vanished into a shunpo to go inside and combat the fiend.
“Shizuka! I need to know any and everything about this enemy that you can tell me!
Shizuka perked up to respond to his Captain. Leaving out none of the exhausting details about the meddlesome opponent, while yelling them out loud enough for the city to hear.
"Yes Sir Higen-Taichou! The Hell-Spawn has two abilities! He has a near infinite number of invisible arms capable of defending, grabbing and attacking all simultaneously! Each one can be revealed momentarily though Kido or a smokescreen of any kind! Secondly! He has 2 chains on his wrist that he can control seamlessly. Capable of wrapping up any and everything it touches even for a second. Can be dealt with, with extreme force! If any of those abilities touch you they will drain you of your physical prowess! Be careful, he's encased within my technique, but he's still crafty enough to defend himself with said techniques!"
Shizuka had to catch his breathe for a second, saying everything he said out loud continuously. He was sure Higen did not need all of his information, he had the strength to overpower his foe without needing some ridiculous power boost. Unlike Shizuka, who was abysmally weaker and needed a release in order to even compete. His time was up, with the Senkaimon his Captain entered through, Shizuka carried Kuro and his Zanpakuto back to the Soul Society. Standing to watch the fight would be pointless when he could potentially save the soul within his hands. His fate strictly relied on his running mate Ryuga, and the medical prowess of 4th Division.

Avillio's bike roars through the streets until it was clear he could pass no further using it. The roads ahead were destroyed and seared. Black smoked raised from the cross sections of buildings, even the residential areas had smoke pillars as long as the sky scrapers. Gritting his teeth and parking his bike in the middle of the street, Avi decided to leap into the air via Bringer Light, maintaining this until he could feel something insane. The Togabito couldn't of powered up this much?
No, this was different, this was much more grand than the reiatsu of the hell spawn. This was definably a shinigami, but unlike the others he had met before. There was also another, this one was hollow in essence, another Fullbringer. A Shinigami of this caliber has to be a Captain. All these thoughts are made fact by the time Avillio fully formed in his last leap, he was about a hundred yards away from a giant green crystal formation in the middle of Naruki city.
" What.. What is this? Captain's are this powerful? " Avillio's artificial eye would strain as it glares upon the giant structure. He couldn't believe it, he hadn't met someone of this strength ever. Sweeping in like some sort of super hero, covering the rest of the city from damage and locking itself in there with the threat. Is this what a Captain of the Shinigami truly was? Reaching into his pocket he would take out a pack of lucky strikes. retrieving a cigarette and flipping it into the air. Avi would snatch it with his teeth and then pull out a lighter. A spark of flame and and the age old low flare of red from the other end burning would result in a trail of smoke fumes around Avillio.
The air was tense and yet a strange clam over took the outside of the crystal. This made Avillio anxious, and his thoughts even more muddy. What was he there for, why did he stop heading for Karakura. He sighed as a cloud of smoke wafted from his breath. " Guess I'm sitting this one out, no matter how I feel about it after all. " The reiryoku Avillio felt from the structure made his body tremble, the raw force bearing down on him would prove the new Shinigami was here to end this.
Avillio would use this time to try and see a way through the crystal, as a means of watching what was happening inside. The blurry figures would finally be located, and Avi would stand in watch. Pondering back about his friends in Karakura town, and what their fate looked like. In the back of his mind Avillio knew he should of been there, but there was no use focusing on that. Fred was strong and capable. There's no doubt he would win a fight with one of these creatures. Rummaging around in his leather jacket, Avillio would finally procure a gold tinged flask with a small metal embroidery. It was the name of Fred's place in Karakura town. Avillio had slept on that couch in the front more hours than drinks were ordered. For some reason, Avillio found himself lifting the cap of the flask and bringing it to his lips. He stared into the rim of the container for a few seconds, seeing the amber liquid reflect off the gold tint.
Then a shiver would flow down Avillio's skin, bumps rising off the surface. Here in this moment he found himself thinking; " What would Freddy boy tell me? " Avillio closed his eyes to remember his friends face.

“ I’m sure some fool will want to try to take my mead away from me. You wouldn’t mind protecting me would ya? Your payment would be that whiskey bottle. ”
The memory flashed through his head. " That's right, the day we went to that fry cooks restaurant. Fred gave me this whiskey to protect him... like he needs it. Guy is tough as ten bulls. " Avillio would then know exactly what Fred would tell say.
He lifted the flask into the air and then brought it down to his lips before knocking his head back and taking a swig. Whatever happened next relied on the Captain within the barrier.
