Hiroka laid rested against a tree, eyes closed as he listened to the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind. He had been this way for all of an hour. Motionless and tranquil in the embrace of nature’s presence. His breath flowing equally with the breeze. Hiroka’s limbs rested limply at each of his sides as he distracted himself from these moments of inactivity with the absence of thought through the form of a meditative state. This was of course until the chiming and vibrations of his Denreishinki sprung to life suddenly.
A sigh slid out from the young shinigami’s maw as the sensation brought an end to his zen state. Reaching within a pocket near his breast, he reached for the signaling device and took a look upon the message at hand. It was a request for reinforcements within the World of the Living from the Thirteenth’s lieutenant, Katsuo Oda. The disturbance of the sudden break of his serene session was immediately forgiven at the opportunity to join into the fight at hand, let alone one of such a high risk. This plea brought a snicker out from him. He took to his feet and returned the tool to his inner pocket before reaching towards his left upon the ground, grasping his zanpakuto within his hand. His arms worked in tandem to attach it to that other side of his hakama.
His intent was to head in the direction of the Senkaimon to rendezvous with his comrades, but before his feet could even drag him forward a spike of pressure forced its way through the space. This release of reiatsu accompanied with a bellowing that further confirmed that the presence was indeed the Vice Captain of his own squad. A responding shout followed that, one that sounded as that of familiarity as well. He rested his arm upon the hilt of his sheathed weapon before closing the gap between himself and the duo within a flash. Standing on the top of a wall facing towards them with a neutral expression, one that would likely carry more annoyance if he hadn’t been struck with the previous exciting news.
”Must you both be so loud?” The male stated simply, not matching the volume of the two, but making sure that it was clearly audible.
The arrival of his superiors made it significantly easier to quickly mobilize to the objective. He needed no extra preparation given that he always wore his equipment on his person. Hiroka’s seal patch constantly holds back his reiatsu, his specially made bindings already wrapped around his arms and legs, and his weapon at the ready upon his hip. All he needed to do was reach into the opposite pocket of the one that contained his Denreishinki to withdraw his spare Tendoriru o Tanoshimu and wrap it around his neck. He awaited any steps that were needed by the others before the journey to the other realm, tailing behind the two towards the boundary between worlds.

His eyes roll back to their typical Neon green as he hears Hiroka join them in a flash. Shoumetsu rambling on about excuses and getting things done just made Jinno drab from the tedious work attitude. Jinno stood straight and put his hands in his pockets. He had half the nerve to swing on both of them just for the principle of the matter. No one seemed to care about his strawberries.
" You both are lucky we have another mission, or I'd be gouging my hands into your face cavities this very second. Let's go, Karakura needs you to help. "
He would take off with them, all three looking well-rested and rearing to get into a confrontation, each one with a chip on their shoulder for one reason or another. Be it strawberries, lack of sleep, or people ruining their buzz. One thing was for sure; this was the Division you did not want to have even the slightest inconvenience.
Mobbing together like a proper group of thugs now, they headed to the Senkaimon over yonder. Whilst on the way, Jinno put his arms on both of their shoulders. His voice cut through their tense stampede to the gate with a surprising revolution.
" By the way Hibiki has been arrested for fucking up his mission in Hueco Mundo, it's likely this is why we are being assaulted on the Living world front by these same beings. This means if both of you come back alive, you can take the respective seats above your current. Happy Promotion day boys, Give them hell. I got a Date with the Lieutenant of Fourth, so I'll be leaving this one up to you guys. Don't fuck it up, got it? "

He would turn and divert his path towards the Fourth Division while they head towards the Senkai mon. He would nod his head ad them, a sign of good luck.
" If you absolutely need me, Don't. "
And with another burst of Shunpo, he was gone once more. They would pay for those strawberries later.

So much happened 100 years ago, between the Togibito, the Soul Kings blood flooding the Human World, and the brief but extremely chaotic Arrancar invasion just to name a few, it's miraculous that another full-blown war hadn’t happened. Both miraculous and strange. There was so much going on in such a short amount of time that it’s difficult to remember all the details, but things have been rather quiet ever since the Arrancar invasion. Did we really scare them off and force them to retreat? Why hasn’t the Togibito re-emerged yet? There were so many questions and as far as Sora knew, there were only so many answers, and not enough to pursue. No matter, he and his squad had more immediate things to worry about, Soul Society.
Making sure to keep division 6 open in case reinforcements in other zones were needed, the main focus for the division and Sora was ensuring the Seireitei and Soul Society as a whole were safe, both from itself and outside sources, as this was their duty, in a sense. Ensuring the chaos that happened so many years ago wasn’t exploited by other Shinigami or the residents of Rukongai. With those events, however, shortly after came a surge of recruits, both coming and going through the divisions as they found their place in the Seireitei. 6th division wasn’t present in most of the big battles that took place those years ago which spared them the loss of their manpower, having dealt mainly with the relief efforts once that Garganta had opened up within rukongai. It was part of the reason they could spare the extra hands if another division requested an assist.
Today though, there was peace, at least in the Sixth Division there was. Despite there being no Captain or Lieutenant in their division, Sora having taken the role of acting division leader until a more suitable person was placed as their captain, made sure to keep his division busy. Whether it be patrolling rukongai, assisting the other division, or simple training; Sora did his best to ensure 6th division was ready to respond to the call of duty at a moment's notice.
SIXTH DIVISION TRAINING GROUNDS

”Bakudō 4.. Hainawa!”
Sora released a crackling yellow rope of pure energy at a fellow division member, wrapping around the poor guy's midsection and locking his arms in place at his side, binding the shinigami and limiting his movements quite drastically. Keeping his grip on the energy rope, wrapping it several times around his hand just to ensure it doesn’t slip, Sora looked over towards the few dozen division members that had shown up for the week's kido training.
”A simple kido but effective in numerous scenarios. Not only to grapple people from a distance but objects as well if you need to pull a weapon from someone's hand or even latch onto something to keep yourself from falling. As I said, simple but effective so long as you can maintain concentration. This is academy stuff for most of you but the basics aren’t just building blocks, they are foundations, and a weak foundation isn’t something you want to build on. Want to cast a more powerful kido? Then make sure your foundations are strong! The power and potency of your Kido doesn’t just rely on the strength of your reiryoku; no matter how much power you might have, none of it will matter if you can't concentrate and keep your focus.
He looked over his fellow division members as he gave his speech to them, one he had given at least 500 times before over the century, to new recruits and seasoned members alike. Though never having rehearsed the lines in his speech, after so many years of repetition, he couldn’t knock the results of those who paid these kido lessons some mind, seeing the long-term pay-off it had for his fellow 6th division members. He looked over to the friend he had bound up in his kido, giving them a soft smile and dispersing the kido around them before motioning them to rejoin the group
”Now get together and practice Hainawa. Keep your focus no matter the distraction! If I don’t dismiss you, you keep on training! Go!”
As Sora’s voice fell silent at the end of his instructions, the group before him lit up with chatter as everyone scampered around to find their training partners, some going in duos, others in groups of 3-5. Honestly, it didn’t matter to Sora how they trained together, so long as they took the training seriously. As soon as these groups were formed, the sudden flux of reiatsu in the air and the flashes of yellow lights scattering across the training grounds, Sora jumped onto the dojo for a better view, preparing to test the concentration of those who seemed they were getting too comfortable.

The white haired Minzaru sat along the training grounds, eye closed and resting his back against a wall of the surrounding buildings. He was relaxed in his stance, his sheathed Zanpakutou leaning against his shoulder as his left arm was gently wrapped around it to keep the weapon close. He was one of the newer members to Division 6, though most didn't understand his motives for joining them or how he was able to rise in rank like he had. He was far from what most would consider a good fit for those who chose to be in the squad. Much like he always was, he was lazing about whilst the others were training with Kido, though he knew it wouldn't last long before Sora would call upon him to join the others. Spells were not his strength, and even though he could see their use, it was far from his thoughts to 'build upon the foundation'.
" If it weren't for all the yelling and kido being tossed about, this wouldn't be a bad spot for a nap..."
The man let out a sigh, slowly opening his eye to reveal a pale pink iris, watching as the other members practiced their technique and concentration. It reminded him of his own former family, the constant drilling of techniques and perfecting their skills. Though, Sora was a bit softer than his namesake. A sigh escaped his lips, grabbing his Zanpakutou to help him stand up, however it was far from needed. Ero would make his way, stepping towards where Sora was as he lazily swung the sword over his shoulder with his left hand. " Even a strong foundation will always have a crack. One fault is all it takes for the entire building to fall. Unless you reinforce it with other structures."
