"Damn she hit hard."
Izanagi said within his innermost thoughts.
Surprisingly he could even think properly while entering into the office with a considerable pink swelling that's the size of an orange on the left side of the skull. Upon impact of the Lieutenant's hard punch to the noggin, the fleshy lump made its way through the Izanagi's hair with two bandages that are placed over a small portion of it in an "X shape." to signify the injury to others who may look upon the victim of this punishment. It is bound to decrease in time for all lumps usually does in time though Izanagi had been uncertain as to why he received such aggression in the first place. He did assume that perhaps it was because he compared her to someone he knew back then. There was a time Izanagi has been told women didn't like being compared to other women, something about bust sizes, weight, and age. Some of the many factors women didn't like about being equivalent to another female. Luckily, Izanagi had still been feeing fatigue slightly from waking up. Otherwise, that punch could have felt even more pain.
Of course, after said punishment, Izanagi was led to a room where there was 1.......2......3.....4. Four individuals were standing around more likely discussing among themselves about something. What they been talking about didn't strike something important to Izanagi, though, since it doesn't seem that it included him. However, two individuals strike him, one being a big towering, husky fellow with green hair.
"You called for me, Taichou?"
Yep! Lt. Kasumi has confirmed it. It was Captain Higen; he appears taller than his magazine photo in the SCC interview column. Just the man he had been looking for the moment he woke up. But before moving on to questioning the Captain of his reason for being transferred to division 10. There was another individual in question to the right of his view—another beanstalk individual with dark sunglasses and muscles that were near or equal to Captain Higen physical size. Could they possibly be related in some way? Or that both were just born to be perfect with large muscles and abs?
Nevertheless, Izanagi stared for a few seconds in silence, searching mentally to where he knew this man from, trying to match his face to anyone he came across recently but failed. Only this time, he didn't move in close to his face like he did the Lt earlier. Rubbing the good side of his hair while feeling a bit overwhelmed from overthinking too much. It was draining to keep trying to remember faces, and he gave up. He did notice the other two within the room, but they weren't that important for the moment. He didn't recognize them from anywhere lately, and so Izanagi didn't bother them at all.
"Er...the OTHER, fresh meat.”
Lt. Kasumi speaking to her superior, but the tall individual with dual-color hair only snapped out of his world and exclusively heard the last few of her words.
Other? Fresh Meat? Where?"
Izanagi was a bit confused about this fresh meat, which caused him to looked around, but there was no food in sight. So did she lie? Her mentioning raw meat made him hungry, and now what he expected didn't exist, or maybe it wasn't here?
In any case, Izanagi would look towards the Captain's direction with this unbothered expression, and someone confused and lost. He is picking his ear with a pinky, not caring for the looks and attention from the room.
"Hm.......I want to fight. Especially that woman for hitting me." a voice from within Izanagi's mind.
"Actually, she hit me. And no. I am in no mood to fight. Do that crap on your on-time dammit!"
Izanagi has spoken loudly to himself without considering how crazy he would look talking directly to himself in front of people.

Gorou's introduction to the division continued after his rather belittling comment towards his new comrades. His juvenile ability to hold his tongue became clear from his statement, though impudence is not his intentions. Higen taichou seemed less fazed and more humored by Gorou's unmannerly behavior at first meet. The two officers also showed little reaction towards Gorou's words, almost as if the energy was normal to them. Gorou's eyes shifted towards the cyan haired individual, who began to part his lips in preparation to speak, but was soon cut off by the authoritative captain. Gorou leered towards the unspoken shinigami as Higen began to talk.
"Welcome, Gorou. Yes.. you would be correct. This here is Shizuka Hyouzoku, my Third Seat and direct commander of the Living Task Force. When it comes to most expeditions into the World Of The Living, he will more than likely be in charge.
Gorou took the time to fully examine the shinigami as Higen introduced him. 'Hyouzoku...His power feels immense for a third seat. He has quite the frame as well, I didn't realize how much taller he was than me. He seems to carry a good amount of responsibility as well...Taichou seems to hold him to a high regard.' Gorou held his glare towards Hyouzoku as his captain continued to talk.
"This here is Ryuga Iba, my Fifth Seat. He Handles a lot of day-to-day stuff around the Division and his usually the proctor in our training regiments."
Gorou finally let his eyes leave Shizuka, turning his head sightly and giving Ryuga the same expression. 'Behind the smell I can see the true strength he possesses. He is seated below me, but I'm sure his power is nothing to overlook. Especially if he is the one to conduct majority of the training here. He's also even bigger than Shizuka. These guys are double the size of most academy students; I'm beginning to feel the difference.'
"The three of you will work together more than enough to understand, get to know, and respect each other.”

Gorou collected his thoughts and started to take in the atmosphere. Being young, internally he felt overwhelmed from the difference in power, but he was mentally strong enough to keep a tranquil gaze. A woman walked into the office in attempt to clean up some of the mess that had been there, Gorou paid her little mind as he stayed in his thoughts. He quickly let his attention shift towards his captain who had more to discuss with Gorou.
“As you surely know by now, you have been inducted as my Fourth Seat. Your duties will be comprised of a mixture of things, but I have to admit.. it is your combat skill I plan to put to use the most. Times are different.. darker. There are soon to be enemies at our doorstep.. of this I’m sure. I need the strongest at my side when it all goes to shit. I’m sure you will not disappoint. Furthermore, it is our direct responsibility to both enhance and polish the skills that you have already made your own… look forward to a rigorous period of training ahead."
Gorou refrained from speaking and digested everything that was said. Gorou had done nothing but train to reach this point and he was finally able to achieve such feat, to add, his abilities were being praised by a captain of the Gotei 13. His soul blazed with joy, though he was always one to keep those emotions for himself. Comments from Shizuka and Ryuga helped clear the silence, but Gorou paid them no mind. He gave no response, not even a look in their direction. He gave Higen a nod of concord to show his understanding of Higen's expectations.
A rhythmic paced combination of sandal and bells tuned the hallways of the barracks. Gorou could sense two individuals nearing the office doors. He could tell that at least one of them was a seated office; the power rivaled that of Shizuka. He began to think to himself, reflecting back to just recently when that woman had entered the office.
“That reminds me.. I’m sure Fuyuko sent you here.. only she is adamant about my paperwork. Would you mind asking her to find Izanagi and bring him to me immediately?”
Yes, he remembered the captain speaking on the likes of two individuals that he had summoned. Gorou was sure that these were said individuals, and that one of them was the current vice captain of the division.
”You called for me Taichou? Oh!, by the way...I brought along the fresh meat, er...the OTHER, fresh meat.”
A female fearlessly walked in the room, dragging along another shinigami with her. Her presence brought authority; it felt as if she took the command right out of Higen's grasp. She walked past Gorou, Shizuka, and Ryuga with demand. She gives Gorou, as well as the others, a quick glance before presenting the captain with a beaten up shinigami. Her purple eyes gleamed as she scanned Gorou's new face. Gorou scowl changed to an attentive, respectful gawk for the moment their eyes met. She had a strong sense of order, almost motherly for an adolescent like Gorou. 'Shes definitely the lieutenant.'
"Actually, she hit me. And no. I am in no mood to fight. Do that crap on your on-time dammit!"

Gorou glared in confusion from the outburst.
"This just keeps getting better."

The moment the words leave his lips there’s almost a solemn cloud that encompasses the office’s interior. The positivity of the day was side-barred briefly, The Captain who’d witnessed many terrors giving his true proclamation of what is expected from his division members in these.. trying times. As goofy as the lot could be sometimes, he sensed no lack of empathy or focus towards what was to come, and this alone was both heartwarming and exciting. The Captains are looked to as heroes, leaders, vibrant generals to lead troops on the field of battle and defend against an imminent threat. While most look to him when there’s trouble, he looks to them, those that inspire him to maintain his position. Those that work hard every day to prove themselves to him. They deserve the credit, the recognition. The hierarchy of the Gotei 13 did not escape 10th Division, but in a way these soldiers of his… were his equals. He’d die for, or beside any of them.
"I don't know if you're a big fan of training, but i'm always around for a quick spar. Never hesitate to ask."
Shizuka, quick to employ his fists to a given situation wasn’t the slightest surprised to the man with a head of green.
“I'm ranked lower than you but don't underestimate me, I'm always ready for a match. Maybe we three can have group spar?”
Ryuga next; the man of pride seemed to have it tarnished slightly with the introduction of a much younger officer being appointed ahead of him. The brash nature of 10th Division’s fighters would soon come to surface, with Gorou’s induction smack in the middle.
Their spirits seemed to get fired up, the assistant-woman fading out into the hall where she’d inherently found the Lieutenant. Amidst the murmurs in the office still, a sound all too familiar echoed throughout the hall.
Clack. Ting. Clack. Ting.
She approaches, and then soon.. she enters. Laying a ruffian at the Captain’s feet.
Delete-me-Again.png

The tower-of-a-man stares downward, at the bruised and battered Shinigami laid to waste by his Lieutenant. His injuries were miniscule, and knowing of his antics Higen was more than certain the whooping was well-deserved.
“You called for me Taichou?”
“Ah yes, thank y-
“Oh, by the way.. I brought along the fresh meat, er...the OTHER, fresh meat.”
“Yes.. I can see.. I suppose he gave you some trouble, hm?”

He chuckles slightly under his breath, his hand rising to palm the top of her head, nearly grasping the entire thing like an apple. He had no care whatsoever toward her potential annoyance, as he had made it quite a hobby to get on the young woman’s nerves for years.
“And this.. is Lieutenant Kasumi
He presents his Second Seat like the prize she is, knowing her value to the division, and that it would undoubtedly be her, as opposed to him, that would truly keep the rowdy bunch in line. Most of Izanagi’s muttering is drowned out, fading into the background noise of the division’s daily inner workings. He continues to look down onto the dark skinned male, somewhat out of it in the face, Higen was curious as to the boy’s state of mind as of present.
“And Izanagi, 6th Seated Officer.
He talked plainly, introducing the troublemaker to the rest of the crowd. His free hand came toward his face to comb brawny fingers through his famous beard. Those who knew him well could see that he was in thought, which to most would be more of a bad sign than good. He begins to walk outside, without saying the word, hoping that they’d all follow closely. As his leg extended out of the door frame, his body would soon bleed from view until he and his companions found themselves in the massive courtyard at the Division’s center. Had they followed promptly, he’d turn to them with a somewhat sadistic smirk.
“Shizuka.”
The tone of voice was familiar, commanding, willing that his reluctant 3rd Seat would step forward from out of the bunch.
“How about you welcome our new comers in a.. Tenth Division fashion.”
He states, gesturing the use of the massive space before them. Ryuga’s pride would have to wait, or perhaps… he’d have him interfere if things got out of hand. Still, he’d be expected to monitor the whole exchange. Tenth Division was not for the weak. Had his lieutenant followed with the rest he’d leave the spotlight for the teal-haired fool, walking over to stand by her side.

Standing beside his Lieutenant, the Shining Captain would see yet another soul enter the room. Only, this visitor does not announce themselves, or even use the door. Rather, a figure clad in white from head to toe, manifests before the Captain. His voice speaking before any trace of his presence can be sensed.
4d05497b41f84a25331d8ee21f391f63.png

One of Commander Murasaki’s own private messengers. These First Division messengers carry the word of Shobatsu himself, something that the former First Lieutenant is all too familiar with. Though the mere presence of such a being can only signify one thing, the messenger continues to speak out of courtesy.
“Captain Kagayaki, orders for you from the Captain Commander sir.
In his hand, he holds an envelope, sealed in purple wax with the signet of the First Division. It is ironic that the Blind Commander dispatches only orders meant to be read, but even with all of the Gotei Thirteen’s forms of communication, the written letter remains the most discreet.

The moment the Captain’s hand touches the envelope, the messenger fades from view, as though he never existed at all, his task complete. The message contained inside reads:
Quote:Captain Kagayaki,
You and your fellow Captains have been summoned for a meeting. You are to report to the Captains Hall immediately.
A direct audience with Captain Commander Shobatsu Murasaki himself. It was rare for the Commander to call such a meeting. It's been well over a century since the last time the Captains had all gathered, when Yū Nakamoto ascended to the rank. Is this gathering perhaps for Tenzen Oda then? He was after all, just recently released from recovery, and permitted to tend to his duties as Captain. No, that would be the hopeful side of the Captain thinking. The truth is clear. Too much has happened this past year, the Seireitei’s sense of security has crumbled, and dark forces are starting to rise from the cracks. This meeting will hardly be one of celebration. A talk is well overdue.

Things were moving smoothly according to the agenda that the Captain had planned for this exchange between introductions. What everyone was witnessing was the new future of the Tenth Division. All seated members, including the Captain made up this rowdy bunch of individuals who were more than the sum of their parts together. Whether they could all progress and become one of the more elite divisions in the Soul Society, was solely up to everyone, newcomers especially. Now they would get to meet Izanagi, the latest member in their division who at this current moment could be heard entering the Captain’s office alongside Lieutenant Kasumi. As the knob turned, all eyes darted towards the door, just to get an early glance on what this new member could look like. As his image fully graced the room the first thing any of them would notice was the giant knot fuming on the top of his head, and with a disgruntled facial expression coming from their Lieutenant Fuyuko, you could tell she was definitely the culprit behind this knot. Aside from that, Shizuka looked more in depth to Izanagi in his entirety, checking from his dark skinned complexion, along with his lavender colored hair on top that complemented his dark black hair on his sides. He had a very slim and scrawny build compared to most shinigami, to Shizuka it didn't seem like he was a complete fan of body conditioning, but his strength is probably nowhere near adjacent to the looks of his frame. So far, his appearance did not seem to be anything out of the normal on a first glance, but his reiatsu was... something else of a concern for Shizuka.
As Lieutenant Kasumi began talking to the Captain, Shizuka's head darted towards Izanagi once more. He dedicated his full attention to him, making it visibly clear that he was staring intently at the new recruit. Purposely trying to make him feel uncomfortable, but at the same time he was looking visibly into the nature of his reiatsu. Then suddenly in the midst of the conversation between his two superiors, Izanagi spurt out of nowhere from his absent minded stature and began to speak to himself out loud.
"Actually, she hit me. And no. I am in no mood to fight. Do that crap on your on-time dammit!"
Shizuka tilted his head in confusion, primarily to what Izanagi said to himself in that moment. In the murmur that he heard from his Captain and Lieutenant, there was nothing that warranted that statement as a response. Shizuka immediately knew that this nut case had to be the one Higen spoke to him previously about.
After the two finished their conversation, the Captain finally addressed the elephant in the room. Shifting his eyes from his Lieutenant to the Lavender-haired individual presented before him he sternly announced
“And Izanagi, 6th Seated Officer."
"6th Seat I see, you must be really impressive"

Shizuka genuinely meant this statement. Out of the hundreds of thousands of Shinigami in the entire Seireitei, this man was chosen to be the 6th seated officer of a Division right away after a transfer. With rank comes responsibility, and apart of their responsibility is to protect the World of the Living. His choosing meant that in some way, shape, or form he was capable of succeeding.
Elisha-Divider.png

Then suddenly as they were all in the midst of their joyous mood, it would be apparent seconds into the laughter a mysterious white hooded individual was standing directly next to Lieutenant Kasumi who was also adjacent to their Captain, almost seemingly manifesting out of thin air. It would probably be the first time any of them had seen any figure that looked like that ever, but the Captain seemed to not be surprised at all by his arrival. Carrying his same stern look as if he was aware if his presence the entire time.
“Captain Kagayaki, orders for you from the Captain Commander sir."
The Captain casually looked towards the messenger and grabbed the envelope. As soon as this transaction was made a fume of black reiatsu shrouded the hooded individual, and in an instant he was gone. It would not be a surprise if everyone in the room had acquired a shocked or dumbfounded look on their face. Partially due to the fact that no one knew when this individual entered the room or planted himself next to Fuyuko. It would leave a weird air in the room, one which the Captain would clear immediately as he began to casually leave out of the room stroking his beard.
Elisha-Divider.png

Shizuka standing near the door would open it up for Higen as he made his way to the door. Upon opening it, Shizuka would nod towards his other division members to promptly follow the Captain. For as soon Higen stepped outside the door, his image seemingly bled away signifying his usage of Shunpo. Shizuka would follow suit after the Captain to his destined location, which just so happened to be in the center of the division's barracks. A large courtyard surrounded with buildings in the distant background, that would take a multitude of meters to get even close. As Shizuka's finally landed onto the field all he could think about was the fact that it was the perfect place to let loose with no immediate attention amongst his peers. Assuming everyone who was present in the Captain's room was here in attendance in the new location, Shizuka would bunch up with the others separate from the Captain until he eventually called out-
”Shizuka"
in a stern, and commanding tone.
At that moment he would walk away from the bunch and pace himself about 10 feet away from them before turning around to face them.
“How about you welcome our newcomers in a.. Tenth Division fashion.”
Shizuka tilted his head downwards, his bangs covering his eyes. His face only revealing his underlying smirk he had upon hearing his Captain's words. Fuyuko and Ryuga would be fully aware of what the Captain was insinuating with his words, and they would understand completely what was about to come out of this. Shizuka's reiatsu would then begin flare slightly, streams of electricity would begin to generate throughout his entire body like a flowing river. The air around him would disturb the casual flow of wind around them causing their garments and hair to fly around relentlessly through the air with the wind pressure he was generating. Accompanying the exertion of his reiatsu, a scorching aura would flood the area with it's presence as well.
He would then tilt his head upwards, and stare directly into the direction of Gorou and Izanagi, giving them a condescending look while the heat of his reiatsu is gradually increasing the temperature around them
a6274e755bf5ee91fb1cbd1ee51a27fc.png

"Gorou, Izanagi, let's see what you two are made of...."
he took a brief pause
"Both of you come on"
Shizuka made no attempt to draw his sword or get into a fighting stance. His hands were to his side and he was full of openings, and that's exactly what he wanted.
