Jinno would rest his blade on his shoulder as he witnessed their folly. Closing his eyes he would get the feed back from their actions and deeply sigh. " Shit..." Flicking his blade so the supposed sharp edges were horizontal with his arm, the bandages would swirl around it and encase it once more. Sliding it into the custom built strap to hold it against his lower back. Jinnosuke would take a look around. Mass destruction, but many were working hard to help others and figure out a way to stop this giant space rendering turd. It was apparent he couldn't bully this thing down, it was a little beyond him at the moment. This cause him to look down at his hands, He opened and closed them a few times then looked over to where Nibui was.
His LT had used Bankai, something he had no care to use or even master. He and Ikari had so much progress but so little experience in that skill. The True blade, they were fine on their own. The events unfolding however made him unsure, however. Could his Bankai of made a difference if he used it? He didn't think too long about this, for A cocoon of sorts was appearing before the base of Nibui's Bankai. Startled Jinnosuke soon saw it was Maho, Scorch marks running up his arms.

" WOAH! Maho! What'd you go and do now? " Jinno would then flicker over using Shunpo. Picking the Captain up over his shoulders effortlessly. " Damn it man, You really tried using That down there? Wish i could of seen it! " He would then look up to Lt Ueki. " YO LT!! I'm going to get Captain Kojima out of here and to Captain Nakamoto! My skills will do nothing but make things worse! Call me if you need back up though!" With that Jinno would disappear with out a trace. His body instantly thrust into multiple shunpo at faster than normal speeds due to Maho's Unconscious state. His diction was directly to the 4th Division, a destination Jinnosuke knew all too well.

Disaster was upon the Soul Society, at every turn there was some event going on out of the norm. In the Rukongai District it was no different. Upon the arrival of the trio in the rustic area, they witnessed the Kokotsu digging it's way into the earth it's trail stretching miles from its origin. Hundreds of Shinigami flooded the area to provide their efforts doing damage control and evacuating innocent bystanders.
"Jeez"
Shizuka lamented as they all landed upon the tattered Southwestern wall. Captain Kagayaki's herculean figure standing out vibrantly amongst the 2 Third Seated members. Captain Kagayaki turned his head once to ensure that the two were there visibly, his face showed a slight feeling of grimace and distress. Not so much of a helpless distress, but more of pitied variant. Many of the souls within the Rukongai were helpless against this unfortunate event, before the arrival of the Shinigami there were probably hundreds close to thousands destroyed and sent away from the Kokotsu's absorbing rampage throughout the district. Shizuka thought to himself what he could possibly do to help the current situation, but his thoughts were as similar to the ones he had upon its occurrence. The only way to stop this monstrosity was put it back in it's place. The Dangai was the only place where the being could perspire without causing havoc, but it'd be too large to pass through a simple Senkaimon made by a single Shinigami.
In the middle of his thought's the rumbling began to increase heavily, suddenly the Kokotsu rode itself into the sky off of a tilted slab from the earth using it's constant velocity. As he witnessed the Kokotsu fly upwards he said to himself in a disgusted tone..
"What a bunch of tryhards..."
Secretly he was envious that they thought of way to temporarily halt its destruction. He turned his head to Lieutenant Suta who declared his intent to begin saving more citizens to Captain Kagayaki. He then began to use his versatile Zanpakuto in order to save many of the helpless. It seems everybody had a purpose except Shizuka himself, a supplementary power that could be used to help in any situation. Better than all he had with his Zanpakuto which was the power to only create havoc which would only help nothing but the Kokotsu. Incidentally, his Captain also had the same pretense of power which was none other than "destruction". The years he spent cultivating his Zanpakuto was the difference though, and through his "destruction" Captain Kagayaki had the biggest role amongst everyone. Shizuka was fully aware of his true power and why it could never be shown within the confines of the Seireitei. With the current situation at hand though, this might be the time for this power to arrive as Shizuka surmised in his thoughts on their way to the location.
Many years in the past
In a forest far outside of the Seireitei, more closer to District 78 of the Rukon. Shizuka lay flattened on the ground on his stomach, beaten and ravaged. His Shihakusho torso completely shredded revealing the several gashes and lacerations covering his body. Defeated on the ground Shizuka is holding his released Zanpakuto, the massive amount of heat composed from the Zanpakuto surrounded the atmosphere for miles and miles apart. Looking from an outside view, everything within the radius of the heat would be completely distorted. A keen eye would visibly see Shizuka's fallen figure on the ground and a monstrous entity standing a few feet away from him nourished in a effervescent green reiatsu.
Higen-Seventeen-1.png

It was Captain Kagayaki, while being coated in his massive reiatsu he stood tall against his current 5th seated member. His Shihakusho's torso torn off willingly to show and flex his immaculate body frame while at the same time freeing himself from minuscule hindrance it provided in combat. His neck muscle had smoke emanating from it, accompanied by a small burn he seemed to be unhinged by, clearly generated from Shizuka's shikai. Showing no remorse for the young man tattered in bruises he began to speak
" Your power currently, it certainly has a ridiculous amount of pressure unbefitting for someone of your rank.... but we know this. What your goal should be is cultivating that power into something more than just destruction or you could go my route and..."
As he said this his reiatsu began to explore into the sky and flood the entire area with its indiscriminate pressure.
"Turn that destruction into an unstoppable force. Similar to..."
The reiatsu kept fluctuating until bursting into a storm that those would feel faintly even within the Soul Society
Shizuka remembered that day as if it happened a few hours ago, he'd never forget the power he witnessed albeit not actually seeing the power in effect. The reiatsu he felt combined with the ridiculous explanation of the ability gave Shizuka a clear cut idea on it's worth in many situations aside from destroying his enemies. From his Captain's side Shizuka muttered to him in a secretive after Suta vanished, saying with a stern look..
"Right now, with that power only you can save us. You already know no matter what happens me and Kasumi are always gonna be with you."
Captain Kagayaki did not need his Third Seat to give him orders, Shizuka knew that if it came down to survival nothing would stop his righteous demeanor from doing this. His words were made from nothing else but providing cushion for his actions whether he performed or not in the state of danger. Shizuka upon turning around saw from a birds eye view Captain Mukuro and his infamous glare beaming towards his superior. He was well aware too from what he could tell. He knew the situation was going to be resolved soon, and upon that thought he used Shunpo to descend towards the ground and help with damage control.

Yasu had managed to find footing within the broken earth and stumble as she landed with a harsh grunt and rolled a few feet after disbanding her Shikai. Moving in a rush, she managed to catch this giant beast flying out of that hole and the familiar reiatsu that belonged to none other than Maho. Covered in dirt and sweat, this lieutenant was on her last stand. Watching everyone else, she cursed them. Maybe if she trained harder, she’d have been able to stand longer with the rest of them. After Maho’s show, a fifth division boy showed face, and she could hear his voice ringing in her head.
Unfortunately for her, she wasn’t well versed in the art of kido or anything of that sort. Then again, her energy had been consumed since the start of this whole fiasco. She was fading and quickly at that. Around her, she could see that the thirteenth division finally made face. Not only that, but the scent of lavender washed over her and she released a tired huff. So he was here. Her captain was unharmed for all she knew of. Gathering herself up to her feet slowly, she looked around in an exhausted state and found that one of the twelfth division’s had made an appearance as well, releasing his Shikai and going at it.
Would she disturb them? Ah, that’d be a nuisance. Dizzy from the lack of stamina, the pink beast was finally going to succumb to her lack of energy. Deciding that she was of little use this way, Yasu had chosen to escape out of the line of fire. This wasn’t a situation where a meaningless sacrifice would get her name on a plaque. Due to her overuse of her Shikai, Yasu was low. Not made for such long-range nor prolonged use, her reiryoku was spent. This was something else that put her on a different level than other lieutenants and lower seats.
Stumbling out of the way, a few unseated saw the struggling lieutenant and lifted her out of harm’s way and into a safe zone with the many refugees of the Rukongai that had gotten out safely from her earlier endeavors. After setting her down, they rushed back to aid the other upper seats and children crowded around Yasu.
“Shinigami ne-san! Shinigami ne-san, don’t die! Uuuwa! Shinigami ne-saaaaan!”
Hearing the cries of the young girl beside her caused Yasu to place a rough hand on her head and tussle her hair.
“Hai, hai. I won’t die. Nee-san just needs a little rest. When you work hard, you get tired… We live to protect you all. And we’ll do it the best we can. Trust elder sister, okay?”
With a series of nods, Yasu gave her a tired smiled and collapsed right onto the ground out cold, and alerting the child once more in a frenzy. Being shaken so furiously by such a tiny child, it was surely a sight to be seen and somebody would have to be alerted soon enough.
“WAAAAAAH TASUKETE! SHINIGAMI NE-SAN IS DEAD!”

Arriving from Central>>>>>>>>Inverted Copy Sent to Division 5
9883f2ce7bad13c5ecf4020f4c7c2dee.png

He was performing flash steps from central to the Southern walls of the Seireitei. He appeared standing on one of the tallest building possible while his zanpakuto was in its release form and a mirror hovering around him. It was tough to hold the zanpakuto in one hand, and thankfully he won't be using his hand per se. Shirogane knew there was destruction but this level of damage exceeded what he could ever imagine. But there was no time to be in 'awe' of the demolish sight beyond the wall of the South Seireitei, Rukon District had been practically turn to rubble. Shirogane could even feel tremors of the building, but he didn't see the Kotosu insight.
"Has it gone underground?"
He questioned it, but it has very much so gone underground he wouldn't have known the how it was capable of doing so or what caused it. But the results would not be good, and it would prove to be even more difficult. However, Shirogane now has to do what he can before it is too late. Hence his zanpakuto being in its release state right now. There would be nothing that could help set a perimeter to stop the Kototsu right now. But he will help remove some of the 'weaker' soul reapers that are possibly in harm's way. Their job was to protect the Seireitei, but right now, it would seem futile. As Shirogane closed his eyes, focusing his senses, then combine that sensory skill to his ability to sensing those of spiritual signatures around him. All of the weaker Shinigami that is currently within the trajectory of the Kotosu, he would begin his next move.
However, single-handedly he couldn't do what he plans alone; hence, he end up using Tōritsu mirā (倒立ミラー; Inverted Mirror). Another version of himself manifested to the right side of him, donning the same features and appearance from head to toe. Wielding the same amount of spiritual power he contains within his being. The only difference is that the copy version of himself had an inverted appearance. Without a second to lose, numerous mirrors that are controlled by Shirogane and the inverted version would appear next to every able body of the shinigami that would be no good to help or possibly just being in the way of danger. The mirrors can appear anywhere Shirogane could see visually, hence why his skills in sensing and being able to see without seeing makes him that much more of an edge. Using the ability, he earned through years and years of training and allowing the sensory ability to feel the presence of every shinigami around him and near the South wall and listening to multiple heartbeats pumping rapidly through panicking and confusion. Each of those individuals would notice a mirror appearing next to them. Those who saw them would find themselves "vanishing" from their positions. One by one, each member by the wall would no longer be in the way. Those that are even incapacitated would now no longer be in harm's way and shifted to a more safer area that wouldn't be in the form of this threat.
Shirogane is slowly panting from creating so many mirrors, but he was far from done. By the second, it moves closer, and the only way to avoid it from harm is to use the same mirror shift technique to move it elsewhere. The single safest spot is to move to the Senkaimon in division 5, but the problem would be the Kotosu is underground. He could see it within his mind, but placing a mirror there would prove to be difficult and curse this creature for hiding underground. Or that would be the problem until suddenly the Kotosu was shot from underground and exploded into the air. Causing the ground to create another hole, rubble flying all over the place, dust and pieces of rocks were raining upon the area. The aftermath didn't affect Shirogane. Still, moreso kept an eye on the Kotosu whereabouts and little less concern, which was even capable of pulling this move off in the first place— then followed by others partaking in performing techniques towards the massive creature.
The size of the creature was tremendous, but everyone's efforts shall not go in vain. But if there were a time for anything, it would be now. The fallen Kuchiki looked towards his counterpart with only giving him a nod. With that, the inverted Shirogane fled the scene and headed towards the barracks of Division 5 by using and creating a couple of mirrors to help reach the destination without using or expending stamina. However, there were mirrors spread out around the air about 8 feet apart, where they set in different angles in the air. The plan was simple. Both Shirogane would be looking to use the mirrors to shift the vast body of the Kotosu and direct it towards the Senkaimon. The size of the mirrors does not matter as long as a person or thing is near it they shall shift to a location desired of the wielder. Performing the idea reminds him of when he fought Captain Maho in the Valley of Screams. That massive arm of his was heading straight his way and manage to shift it. Much similarities, but the Kotosu was only much more significant but the performance of Idō shifuto (移動シフト; Movement Shift) would not falter to its size.
"IF EVERYONE CAN HEAR THE SOUND OF MY VOICE! I AM GOING TO USE MY ABILITY TO USE MOVE THE KOTOSU TOWARDS DIVISION 5! AND SEND IT BACK TO THE SENKAIMON! IF YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP IN ANY WAY! NOW WOULD BE THE TIME TO DO SO!"
Shirogane shouted loud as he possibly could to make sure all the comrades would be aware of his intentions. They all suppose to work together and communicate that would be key to surviving this threat without it destroying the Seireitei or anything else. This ploy to divert the creature back from which it came could be the only possible plan at this time. There was no time to argue or disagree, for it seems no one else honestly had any solid idea. Now the question is, could Shirogane clone get division 5 to open up the senkaimon in time before everyone collapses or the Kotosu body slams the Seireitei? Despite the other's best efforts, Shirogane main objective is to aid them much as possible quickly. Most likely, he has one of the advantages of dealing with moving the Kotosu since he doesn't need to touch it whatsoever. This maximum effort he will provide shall help save what's left of the Soul Society before the damage because far too high. Even if it means he would have to use every ounce of his spiritual energy to subdue to the Kotosu and attempt to move it through the senkaimon. Shirogane could only hope and trust that his decision to try this won't do more harm than good. Deep down, Shirogane had still been a little concern as to how it even came through in the first place, was it something that just happened? A mere coincidence? Or was someone the cause of this? It was far too much of an accident for this to appear during a rebellion from division 2 Captain. Someone or something had to be afoot, that would be something to look into once this is all done.

Momentum, Velocity, Speed, different words sharing one meaning: Unstoppable Force. As the Shinigami showed with their actions, the only way to beat force is with force. Or so they thought.
With the Kototsu barrelling towards the Seireitei unhindered, safely confined below ground it became not only unstoppable, not only untouchable, but unreachable. Unreachable to all but the most flexible, the most versatile of opponents. Enter: Captain Kojima.
Known as the most versatile of the Captains, it was only Maho’s Zanpakuto that could find its way slithering through the cracks of the underground tunnels. The liquid metal oozing through any crack and crevice, moving through gaps ranging from the size of a fist to no larger than a quarter. The free-flowing zanpakuto moving on its own to keep up with the Kototsu. While above ground, the Captain pushes every once of his body to catch up. He accelerates, exceeding his physical limits and then some. Through will alone, he presses on. The burning fire of his soul hotter than the searing pain he feels. Soon, The Dragon catches aflame, and in a miracle of speed, catches up.
Then, he disappears.
In his place, the black-metal of his Zanpakuto.
Now it is Captain Kojima who stands below ground. Having used his unique ability to switch places with his Zanpakuto. Fortunately for Maho, he did so in a cavern large enough for him to stand, previously carved out by his malleable blade. For just a moment, the rumbling seems distant, for just a moment there is peace. Then Maho’s entire world becomes disorienting. The insane speed at which the Kototsu rushes overhead causes a massive eruption of noise and wind, like a train flying past as a man stands on its platform. However, despite all his shortcomings, Maho Kojima is still a Captain of the Gotei Thirteen. His resolve stays strong, his will unquenchable, as his body smolders and burns, he looks on with determination.
Standing perpendicular to the Kototsu, Captain Kojima matches force with force. If the enormous mass of tendrils cannot have its momentum stopped, then perhaps it can have it altered. A gamble, to be sure, but one that proved true as Captain Kojima’s hands of black extend and spiral, creating a whirlwind of pressure that forces the Kototsu upwards. It crashes through stone and sand, unable to absorb the earth as quickly as it is forced against it. Its body is berated with blunt force as it smacks against the roof of its underground refuge. Until finally, it breaches the earth, its position just a couple feet from the walls of the Seireitei.
As the Kototsu’s body erupts from the soil, all reishi in the immediate area goes wild, flailing in the air, caught up in the whirlwind surrounding it. The area around the massive slug-like creature becomes distorted in what can only be described as a vortex of time. Caught in the torrent of time, the walls of the Seireitei crack, then repair, rapidly aging then de-aging. The damage caused by the Captain Commander is rendered nonexistent, before the walls glamorous white fades to yellow, and cracks again. This process causes a crater all the way up the wall’s surface, and directly in the path of one Captain Kagayaki, as the Kototsu is launched upwards through the air.
Where once the Kototsu increased in size and speed, now the only thing that seems to increase is its distance from the ground. Higher and higher it soars, propelled by Captain Kojima’s impressive display of power. Until finally, the power of wind and flame exceeds the power of the Captain’s will, and he collapses. For a moment, the Kototsu lulls in the air, not yet descending so much as hovering. Then, right at the moment that it may begin to fall, the Kototsu is barraged by another gust of wind, this time from a powerful kido. The torrent of force causes the Kototsu to spiral, a victim to the quick action of one Tenzen Oda. At first, the Kototsu does not raise any higher, the weight of its body being caught by the kido before it can be thrown by it.
This affords some time for another shinigami to act, the brave Lieutenant Nibui Ueki. Using the roots of his blood thirsty Bankai, the Lieutenant issues a ground assault. Launching stone, rock, earth, and rubble, these twisted tendrils assail the Kototsu mid air. They crash against the beast’s already bruised and battered body, quick to be absorbed. However, like the assault of the Captain, like the Kido of the Third Seat, like the very being of the Kototsu, the Lieutenants attacks are relentless. Again, the Kototsu cannot absorb the Reishi of the projectiles as quickly as they are launched, and so, as the assault continues, it slowly becomes more and more encased in stone.
Nibui’s barrage only ends once Tenzen’s Kido has propelled the Kototsu out of range. It soars higher and higher into the air, above the clouds, and into the infinite blue of the Soul Societies endless sky. Until its height reaches a point too far out of range for any shinigami to reach, and the whirlwind kido fades away.
The quick thinking of Captain Maho had worked. There the Kototsu turned mass of stone hovers above the clouds, now three hundred feet wide by six hundred feet long. It is too far removed from any soul to cause damage, too distant from any object to increase in size, and has no footing to increase its speed. Its momentum was halted, its velocity ceased. Well. Forwards at least.
Encased in stone, titanic in size, the Kototsu begins to plummet downwards. An asteroid of catastrophic proportions. As it descends it mimics that of Captain Kojima. Its speed increases so rapidly that the stone surrounding it begins to glow red hot. The friction of the air grinding against it like sandpaper until suddenly an intense blaze of flame erupts around it, encasing it in fire. It plummets towards the soul society, an omen of death and destruction. Should it hit the ground, the impact would be enough to destroy the entirety the Seiretei, and perhaps the entirety of the Soul Society itself. An extinction event, an existence wide destructive apocalypse that might mean the end of every Shinigami and Soul not trapped in the Human World.
Its momentum unhindered, its velocity at its maximum, its speed unparalleled, the Kototsu has truly become, and Unstoppable Force.
