Arriving from Hell

Lifting his head as he stepped through the gates of Hell that appeared directly inside an alleyway, his eyes were greeted with a familiar and welcoming sight; Naruki City. The air was light and fresh, especially compared to Hell's environment. However, there was no time for him to take in the sights. The information that he acquired was vital for the Soul Society's survival and he needed to be debriefed by the Captain-Commander as soon as possible.
Emerging from the alleyway would be a man of massive stature, though he would only be visible to any spiritually aware beings. It had been centuries since he had stepped foot in Naruki City. Walking throughout the city, it took him a few moments to process where he was, utilizing the landmarks around the area to deduce his exact location. After minutes of observation, he began to recall the name of the particular district he found himself in; Chobara. With that realization came another one; his old friend and rival Higen Kagayaki was the current Captain of the Tenth Division and Naruki fell under his company's jurisdiction. With the city under the Tenth Division's watch, Yami was sure that there had to be a liaison of some sorts located somewhere within the city. The next task in hand was to find him or her so that they could help him get back home to the Soul Society. Seeing a passing Jigokucho (Hell Butterfly), Yami extended his right hand outwards, allowing the black butterfly to land on it. As the black butterfly touched his hand, the elite Shinigami began to feel the varying effects of his adrenaline slowing down. He was unaware of the plethora of deep gashes that covered his arms and chest along with his tattered uniform. An average Shinigami would be aiming to nurse their wounds and recover their energy after pulling off such a difficult and unpredictable feat, but to Yami, this information was worth every wound suffered. Allowing a sigh composed of increasing pain combined with relief to escape him, he began to speak to the Hell Butterfly, relaying an order and call for help for the butterfly to carry to the nearest Shinigami in the city.
"This is Yami Mochizuki, Fourth Seat of the First Division. I need to get to a Senkaimon and return to the Soul Society ASAP to complete my mission."
Once he finished speaking, he lifted his hand and watched the Jigokucho fly away. It would not take long for the Jigokucho to deliver the message to any Shinigami within Naruki City. However, Yami did not have time to diddle around and wait for the butterfly to return and lead him to a liaison. Once the black butterfly messenger departed from him, Yami extended his right arm upwards and grasped a section of the environment as if it was a curtain. Yanking his arm downwards, a myriad of light beams created from the sudden spell performed revealed themselves to him as he stepped through them, completely masking his spiritual presence as well as his physical form. While waiting on the Jigokucho to return, he would conduct his own search under the cover of the Kidou spell known as Kyokko.

It has been two months since the attack on Naruki City by something called a bount. According to the shinigami there artificially created long before he was apart of the gotei 13. However, he did know much about them or had any physical records about them on him. The visit of this bount two months ago had the form of an iconic children's story, St. Nick. Even with the numbers on that night, they weren't even enough to beat him. All they had to do was wait for this bount to return. When it does, Mikoto would be ready to put that bastard down for good. No matter what it took. He spent many days back then after that event rewatching the data he collected from that night. Trying to study not only the bount but every single individual he came across, only two individuals he didn't capture information on during that encounter.
Nevertheless, he ran profiles on every single one of the people there that night. The same two were unidentified in the databases. Shizuka Hyouzoku and Kuro Yakimono, according to Shizuka they were nothing but spirits from another realm that look after souls and perform some ritual on souls in this world that sends their souls to a place called the Soul Society. The shinigami gave more insights into what his organization is all about, sharing details of the ins and outs. Which the intelligence this shinigami shared was a bit of an eye-opener.
Furthermore, it gave him more ammunition to his belief on why they should be held responsible for the lack of protection on the humans—Moreso, sharing no information about this bount that put them at risk. This act proven shinigami aren't as reliable as they are supposed to be. It was up to the likes of himself, the other fullbringers like Avillio and Quincys alike to defend the city, protect the living and the dead.
Mikoto sometime ago approaches by Avillio about being partners, sharing his cause of gathering fullbringers. Mikoto isn't with the whole building some team of misfits, he had his crusade to deal with. However, they cause did line up, and it would be beneficial to keep the fullbringers in his sights, make sure they aren't doing anything to jeopardize his cause. At least, Avillio was the questionable one here. Tsukune wouldn't be considered dangerous but a greenhorn, inexperienced to his gift as a fullbringer. Avillio soft heart to bring in a stray to help train him was his idea, but Mikoto believes he was nothing but a liability. To keep them both in check when the time is called for. He allowed them to use a backup base as headquarters in Naruki, away from the privacy of his home. Also, given that the Quincy had asked to keep a boundary between them, dividing the cities in two. So that fullbringers have their turf while Quincy has there. Unfortunately, those terms aren't something Mikoto agreed too and when there is trouble in either of the cities. If need be, he will intervene no matter if the crisis was a petty crime or a hollow sighting.
Nevertheless, the warehouse itself didn't seem all that significant on the exterior, given that it looks like a regular size building at first glance. Even if one were to step inside, it would be nothing but a large empty room, abandoned also. Boxes and oil drums stand along some of the walls. The bricks have a yellowish hue, and stairs lead to a catwalk roughly two stories high. The roof appears broken in places, with holes letting in light and rain. Small puddles of water dot the floor. A notable feature is that the warehouse has only one door, which is both the exit and entrance. No matter how run down it may be, there were security cameras around the exterior of the facility. Unbeknownst to everyone else but Avillio and Tsukune, no one knows the hidden entrance to the basement, south of the warehouse wall. Only one specific brick that needs nothing but a push to access an elevator; however, the lift would only be accessible if the hidden scanner beneath this particular yellow slab ID the individual. If granted access, the wall would open up, which the elevator to descend to the bunker of the HQ.
The interior of this hidden infrastructure was much more massive in size than the warehouse itself. Plenty of rooms for training, science lab, personal transportation, tech lab, med bay, private quarters, and command center. Mikoto would find himself here more than his confinement, finishing up getting them set up here, since he was the brains, with the help of his tech girl and assistant of the company, Kaguya Sengoku to make it possible as well.

At this time, Mikoto could be found in the command center before Avillio's arrival, standing while motioning his hands while the screens with schematics of what happens to be two humans shape figures. Each screen next to these figures had outfits and a pair of masks. However, Mikoto immediately closed it out by clapping both hands together once he heard his voice.
"Yo Mikoto."

But Mikoto didn't say a word in response while the palm activated a holographic keyboard and began typing while another screen appeared what was it about was anyone guesses. But the title above the screen read...
Quote:E.M.I.K.O.
"Second stage of this plan, You ready to hear it?"
"If I say no, you going to tell me anyway, right?

Mikoto asked, and of course, Avillio began sharing as Mikoto expected him too.
"So, Material Manipulation the core foundation of what we are able to do.. With this app We can allow all Fullbringers that willingly apply for it to connect to the Soul of the App, This in tern should be ran by a middle Fullbringer say an Operator. They connect the user to the network and then that user can access a number of other operators on standby. Giving the requester power boost or power sharing possibilities that would normally require both parties to be present. "
Mikoto listened and hearing operators, meaning more people. It is pointless to bring more people to run when all they need is one.

"Meet E.M.I.K.O."

He pointed to the screen he had up which by pressing enter, and the screen changed into what appears to be a telemetric sphere with symmetrical lines connecting. However, this program of E.M.I.K.O is designed as artificial intelligence that is connected to the mainframe of Mikoto's main base. Although this program isn't finished developing.
"Now, We don't allow any and every full-bringer the option to share and boost their abilities. We tax them, Monthly membership for the premium feature. This, in turn, makes money off normal civilians that just want to use premium app features, while Fullbringers also give the Connecting Operator a tax of their reiatsu that we can then store to boost residual mem-
"No."

Was all Mikoto said as a reply to Avillio. His voice was calm, stern while his arms folded into his chest. What Avillio plan sounds more like fraud to benefit from the reiatsu and money the app people used.
"I don't like the idea if you are planning to extort money and reiatsu from others like us. Then I am inclined to disagree with this so-called plan you have."
After Mikoto gave a final response, Tsukune, who was training, arrived in the same room as himself and Avillio. He ignored the first thing Tsukune said about a cook.
"I wanted to ask… are there… any records on whether or not the Hollow that killed my parents is alive or dead? I know… it's been forty-four years but… my grandmother never got closure as to what caused the accident.."
Did he seriously ask that question? What Tsukune was asking wouldn't be something possible to find out. Not like anyone here kept records on hollows that have been killed, especially forty-four years ago. His best chance of even finding that out is through those shinigami who has the best possible chance of keeping some archive like that. Telling him something like that would probably invite him to do something stupid. Although Tsukune isn't his responsibility and won't be dragged into his problems.
"You are worried about the wrong things. Should go back to training or won't be able to protect your family. And you, come up with a different plan, a better plan. I'll be back."
Mikoto said while placing on the black suit jacket and went to leave the base. He wasn't worried about either of them having access to the computer, Avillio and Tsukune only had limited access to certain things, unfortunately, project E.M.I.K.O or anything listed as the project would have them locked out. Unable to obtain any information unless they could bypass a high-grade security password and facial recognition. Whatever Avillio had to say in response to the disagreement would probably be ignored; he had an appearance to make.

February was a month of welcome, the frigid cold still existing while paling in comparison to December’s bite. The Saint had been the last true threat to torment Naruki City, and Kuro would be most happy if it remained that way. While he’d come into contact with great deal of associates while in a “celebratory” state at the quincy’s bar, none of which stuck to become a true ally. His superior, Shizuka, had communicated enough over the last couple of months; more than Kuro had liked at least. In fact, he’d sent LTF members to investigate the city earlier today, and if they were to be troubled by the slightest thing, Kuro would be there to answer the call. In his dojo—where he normally was—the Shinigami sat with legs crossed along each other, his feet rested against the beds of his knees in a relaxing position. He should have been in his Gigai but it had grown uncomfortable, forcing him out of his shell. Here he sat, invisible to those who were not spiritually aware, clad in his tattered Hakama and Shikashuhou without a bother in the world. The room was silent, and it would stay silent if he could control it. He briefly unveils his zanpakuto from his obi sash and pulls the blade from its casing. The scabbard is disposed of, while the blade is placed horizontally across his lap with a gentle touch, the metal gently nestling in between the cloth of his garments.
He closes his eyes, locks of the darkest amethyst resting down his back without the slightest sway. With each moment that passes the silence begins to transmute into something else. First he can here the breakage of wood against itself, collapsing and splintering in a multitude of ways. Second he can hear the fighting growl of a dying cinder, feeding off of said wood, and lastly he hears a-
Kuro-Spirit-Resize.png

“Little.. Little.. Kuro Ehuehehe!
The sadistic spirit calls out to him, and as Kuro’s eyes expand from their sockets he can see the confines of a burning inn. The wooden beams fall and collapse that support the roof, the floorboards cook and pop as if hovering over a fire pit. The coal-skinned man is ominous in nature, and a close inspection could find resemblance between himself and his wielder. His mane flows in a thick flame composition, sparks and embers falling from it as it sways in an artificial wind.
“Ehuehhe, do you finally want to burn the w-”
The spirit’s sentence was cut short, a fluttering black creature invading Kuro’s personal inner world. That’s strange.. the were no Jigokucho in here so it had to be from the outside? The burning building around him began to crash and perish into a field of dust, reemerging as Kuro’s dojo completely spotless. The black butterfly landed on his nose, and transmitted its message per instruction.
“This is Yami Mochizuki, Fourth Seat of the First Division. I need to get to a Senkaimon and return to the Soul Society ASAP to complete my mission."
Yami Mochizuki?
Kuro was unfamiliar with the name, though according to the message he outranked and outclassed Kuro by far. With haste, he came to his feet, placing his blade back in its position hidden away by the saya. Who was this Yami person, and how long had he been gone? He was still using hell butterflies when the denreishinki X was a thing, so surely he was one of the veterans. Still, Kuro sent a message back.
“You’ll have to come to my location, I’ll make my spiritual pressure more detectable. By the time you get here the Senkaimon should be ready and open for you to simply slip through. This sounds urgent, so I don’t think there’s time for pleasantries.”
With that the butterfly was off, fluttering into the wind. Kuro would not sit idly—though—following suit with what was explained in his message. His spiritual power was risen to a detectable level, whilst he found his way toward the back of the dojo. A single post signified a senkaimon spawn spot, and upon gently grazing the top of the post it would send signal to the Seireitei for someone to receive the gate on the other end. By the time this Yami character showed up, the doors would have already opened, giving him passage to complete his mission. Kuro laid in wait, simply prepared to do his part in assisting a fellow Shinigami, as long as it meant getting him out of his city.

Avillio nodded to Tsukune and allowed him to keep doing what he was doing. Looking over to Mikoto and his machine with this insane interface almost made Avillio have pause in his dialogue. However after he was done, and went to approach the holographic display in front of him, Mikoto only responded with a resounding;
"No."
A brow raised at this, as Mikoto continued; "I don't like the idea if you are planning to extort money and reiatsu from others like us. Then I am inclined to disagree with this so-called plan you have." Mikoto then instead of staying to actually have any part of conversation just, turned to leave. Avillio spun around and briskly shouted after him; " Well you're the business man, you figure that part out I've taught you all how to manipulate your abilities to their fullest, and i appreciate your money and tech, But how about you sort the rest of it out. I need a break from all this crap. Enjoy your party Mr. Avenger!" Avillio was half laughing at the mans hubris. Half laughing at Tsukune looking awkward asking about his past. He let Mikoto go with his putrid views of Avillio's plan. It wasn't Avillio's place to change his mind on how it's done, This computer wouldn't let him extort people and Mikoto knows that. He's only saying it like that to reinforce his own moral code. Avillio didn't mind if Mikoto wanted to play super hero, Avi would play along as well.
Walking up to E.M.I.K.O Avillio would wave his hand in front of it and then begin to talk to it. " Alright, Emiko, Whats up. How do we connect Fullbringers without blending into modern society, How do we protect these people from all this crazy shit." He would sit in front of E.M.I.K.O for hours, until Mikoto came back. Avillio going as far as to put headphones on showing Tsukune that he did not want to be bothered. There he would let this hologram show him Mikoto's perspective and why he things we should do this different. Attempting to learn a better method that his previous one.

He huffed, blowing his white bangs up. Tsukune onew it was a tough question to ask, but he didn't know both Mikoto and Avillo would be so passive about it. It was almost insulting, though he said nothing about it. Avillo had said something Mikoto either didn't like or understand fully, which Tsukune was partially there for, he gained even more confusion about this… app Avillo was developing. Of course, he was just going to let Mikoto leave.. which didn't settle right with Tsukune, if he wanted them all to be a team, and Avillo wanted to be a team leader, he had to stop playing it solo so much. Tsukune needed his team of chefs and waiters to make the food in his restaurant, running this was really no different. Would it really be safe to follow Avillo's lead in this?
Avillo put headphones on and ignored Tsukune next, which pissed the Chef off even further. His eyes blared red for a second, as heat rose in the room for a split second, making a computer in the training room short circuit and catch fire, which snapped the chef out of it as he dashed to the researchers with a fire extinguisher and put it out.
"SORRY!SORRY!"
He said, before hiding his face with embarrassment and dashed out of the room, catching up with Mikoto a moment, on the elevator.
"You're right, i'm sorry. I just.. feel bad, for you both. It's got to be hard, not having loved ones next to you. I feel like the odd one out because I still have family, at least to you two. I have Kazuki and Haruka, but they aren't blood family. Kazuki's my childhood friend, and Haruka is his eleven year old niece…"
He'd tell Mikoto as they went up. It's been two months since santa attacked, and Tsukune has made progress in terms of control, and strength. Yet, both his colleagues so far haven't given him respect he's earned.
"Mikoto, I think Avillo and you both still have the mindset you don't need anyone else but yourselves in your lives and… you clash with one another as a result. I'm not saying this to upset you, it just appears this way. Take a restaurant for example, or at least the only example i can give."
He paused for a moment on the elevator and said,
"I might be the head chef, but my success would go nowhere if it wasn't for the people beneath me as well, right down to the waiters that serve the food.. Teamwork makes the dream work.."
He was speaking wise, being the oldest of the three Fullbringers so far Tsukune did have some experience behind him, even if this was the first time he decided to develop these powers of his.
"In order for this to work, we must all set aside our pride, come to an ultimatum and work together to ensure peace in the city, or else we'll all be eaten by those hollow things. Right?"
